The different society structure plays an important part in the education system. In China, all those who can enter the University have received an elite education and before enrollment they have devoted themselves to hard studying. Therefore, they are good at getting high marks on mathematics, psychics and so on. However, they are lack of chances to practice skills in real world thus having no social experiences. In that case, after graduation, most students find it difficult to find a satisfactory job though many of them get a job through the relationship net.
While in America, the education system pays more attention to social skills than to marks .Students have developed the ability to be independence in life and work. After university, they show great capability of thinking, innovation and creation which make them keep pace with the modern world. They are competent for the challenging work and can gain a good job in America with ease.
There is a huge gap on education between America and China, but we can’t say which one is right or wrong, ‘cause each of the education system is based on the different backgrounds, American education should be following the American’s culture, meanwhile, Chinese education has to follow Chinese culture. A good education model for China is very important to the learning process, and also is very hard. 根据国内教育专家学者的研究，我国实施道德教育的问题，归纳有下列数点：学者偏重知识与技能之传授，而忽略道德的教育与人格的陶冶，家庭与社会教育未能密切配合，抵消了学校道德教育功能;偏重道德教条之灌输，而忽略道德行为之实践;偏重道德习惯之形成，而忽略了道德认知的启发;德育教材缺乏逻辑的组织，未能配合学生心理发展;偏重传统道德教条之教学，而忽略了法律知识之介绍与法治观念的培养等。上述各点明白指出我国各级学校道德教育问题之所在，也是我们要努力解决的问题。我们应该在保有目前成效之前提下发挥及结合各项影响因素来解决道德教育所面临的问题。
道德教育属于认知的方面，它的目的在于对受教者灌输这方面知识。但是道德教育最重要的目的是在于有了道德知识之后如何去行。亚里士多德说：“德为随智的活动，择善而行的习惯，使受教者知道何者当行，何者不当行。能够有判断是非善恶的能力，并在相当范围以内，将一切道德的规范组织成一个体系，使受教者从这个体系中，体认个别道德存在理由，并能根据这个体系，对于个别道德情境知道如何表现如何去身体力行。”柏拉图说：“一个人非经过多年的实行，养成习惯，还经过多年的训练，决不懂得善的真意。”总之道德教育的目的，在于启发“道德的智慧”，进而促成“道德的实践”。
我们必须教导学生具备道德的知识，帮助学生建立正确的价值观念，努力不懈辅导学生行为规范的实践。
道德判断能力有一定类型与发展序阶，通常是从无律而他律而臻于自律。良心的自律不是天生的，是经由他津的悉心养护训练而培养出优良的行为习惯，然后再一步一步成熟而发展成独立的道德判断能力。所以自律的殿堂，必须经他律的大门与长廊。他律的道德训练是自律的道德教育之始;而自律的道德教育是他律训练之成。两者如果适当地安排，可互补运用，而收相辅相成之宏效。在民主的社会，道德教育绝不可呆滞在权威式的他律控制，这种纯他律式的行为训练，不是民主哲学的道德理想，也无法适应当代剧变的社会。
海拉克立特说“一切皆变”，我们的《易经》也是讲述变异的。然而须要知道，在变异中有不变者在。道德的本质不变，也就是说道德在观念上永远不变，而在道德的客观内容中是有变化的，在道德价值的总和与它们层面的支配中也有其不同的。今日我们提倡的道德是合乎时代要求的道德，而不是复古道德。道德的本体可以万世不易，但道德的条件是随时代转移的。我们生在20世纪90年代，决不能将1000年或2000年前的道德条件全部应用于今天。如古人割腿疗亲为孝，我们今日决不再赞扬此种蠢事。我们固有道德只能效法古人之意，决不能将古代道德条件全部搬到今日之社会。同时我们提倡的道德是积极的进取的道德，而不是消极的保守的道德。是动的道德，而不是静的道德。我们要教育青少年“天下为公”、“博爱”和“人生以服务为目的”的道德，积极用手脑从事生产，不袖手旁观高谈阔论;全力提高大众的生活水平，不企图一己的享受;具备丰富的同情心、强烈的正义感，见义勇为，当仁不让，为主张公道，为援助他人，为国家民族的前途，可以牺牲自己的生命财产而不惜。这种道德教育才适合时代需要;才可以建设中国成为现代化的国家。
《大学》云：“家齐而后国治，国治而后天下平。”孔子说：“孝悌也者，其为仁之本欤。”杜威说：“生活即教育”。凡此皆谓家庭教育是一切教育的基矗家庭教育成功，子弟方能有成;家庭教育失败，子弟虽受高等教育，亦将波折横生，荆棘满途。根据少年辅导院所做的案例调查资料，即充分显示绝大多数的不良青少年，都是没有受到良好的家庭教育所致，足证家庭教育的重要。我们必须在家庭实施道德教育，从婴儿期开始由家庭生活，如起居饮食及应对进退等等，定一套常规，以养成子弟规律生活习惯和优良生活态度。对于家庭事务，让子弟有充分机会参与，使其了解群居生活中分工合作的需要，并养成义务和责任的观念。同时辅导维持家庭成员间以及家庭与邻里乡亲间的和谐合作关系。更提供正常休闲娱乐活动以调节身心，陶冶性情，怡养身心。父母兄长，要以本身生活行为示范。各级学校、社教机构以及大众传播工具，多办理“亲职教育”，使做父母兄氏者重视道德教育，并且懂得领导子弟，使他们成为中华好公民。
道德教育的实施，是由点而线，由线而面，由面而整体。品格的修养应从修己做起，然后才影响到他人，教导学生，最后蔚为风气。可是学校里实施道德教育，过去有不正确的观念，认为道德教育是公民与道德、生活与伦理、德育原理等课程中所必须注意的，与其它科目不发生关系;以为实施道德教育是训导人员的职责，与其他人员无关，所以道德教育的实施未能获致预期成果。今后必须加强辅导沟通，使教育同仁认清道德教育的实施，是全体教职员共同的职责，应该全面配合，在整个课程中的各教学活动中同时进行，以道德教育为核心并与智育、体育、群育、美育紧密结合。
人类生活最理想的规范虽然有赖于道德，然而达到止千至善的道德境界，仍有赖宗教的配合。道德与宗教都是志在保存及发展人类的良心，具有安定社会秩序、劝人向善的功能。政府可以邀请与辅导所有宗教团体，积极而有计划地参与此项工作。
社会是一个大染缸，它的领域比学校、家庭广;它的教育工具，方式比学校、家庭多;它的渗透力、影响力也比学校、家庭强。所以社会教育在整个教育中的地位极为重要。我们加强道德教育，在社会这个大环节中时间最长，对象最广，范围最大，功能最多，影响最深。应密切配合，全面动员，包括政府社教机构、新闻、杂志、电视、电台、音乐、戏剧等传播事业以及政府、民间各种慈善团体、社会服务团体等，一律依照道德教育目标，秉承国家当前的国策，革新其内容，发挥转移社会风气的力量，推展到全民性、全境性、全时性的教育。各级政府首长、公教人员、民意代表对自己的言行和私生活，尤须力求检点，为民表率。对于发扬道德教育的好人好事，音乐歌曲之创作与传播、电影的拍摄、戏剧的演出、书刊的编印出版、有关活动的举办应加表扬鼓励。同时整肃政治风气，净化经济社会，大量扩增社教机构，关闭淫靡游乐场所，大力推行国民生活规范。
教育理想的实现，教育方针的贯彻及教育政策之推行，教育事业的成功，有赖健全的教育人员，尤其学校的教师最为重要。所以教师除在就业之前受严格的专业训练外，在从业以后应不断辅导、策励，使之不但具备专业知能，更发挥专业精神，其要点：建立超然教育人事制度，培养优良教育风气，加强实施分层负责，鼓励教师研究进修，沟通学校与行政部门人事管道，加强全盘性长期性辅导工作，强化领导功能，建立教育人员在职进修制度，建立教育评鉴制度，宽列经费预算，补助教育人员之研究实验或着作发明，提高教育人员社会地位，解决教育人员困难，提高教育人员待遇与福利，加强辅导考核，表扬鼓励，务使在生活上有安全感，在团体中有归属感，在工作情境中有愉快感，在待遇上有公平感，对本职具有重要感，在工作上有成就感，对校务有参与感，在人格上获得自尊心，积极运用各种有效方法和工具，加强道德教育。

这一回答另全社会震惊，想知道为何会给出这样的答案，是学生们太紧张，忽略了纸巾？还是学生们本着“事不关己高高挂起”的原则将拾起纸巾这一“分内事”交给校工？抑或是根本懒得弯下腰拾起纸巾？由于纸巾位置摆放讲究，第一种解释的可能性微乎其微，其余的解释虽然可部分归结于学生尚且年幼，放任了自己的惰性，以致不愿捡起一张纸巾，但毋庸置疑，道德感可以战胜懒惰，究其根本是学生缺乏道德教育，没有充分培养起做为一个学生应具备的社会责任感。

我不禁要呼喊“快来！道德教育”！我们的教育，严格要求数理化不落于人后，极力确保全才与专才同时出现，却独独对道德教育松懈再松懈，杭州这一中学二百三十二人的视而不见，为我们敲响了警钟。上世纪八十年代，面对经济上的落后，我们知耻而后勇以“经济发展为第一要义”的口号埋首苦干，三十余年后国富力强的今天，面对道德教育的缺失，我们是否会拿出同样的决心，痛定思痛，加速加强道德教育的建设？这比经济建设的任务更艰巨，影响力也更深远！
