道德是判断行为善恶的规律，德性乃人类内心的倾向，而道德的规律是内心倾向的外表。我国自新文化运动以来，反对旧礼教，打倒旧道德，使我国固有道德的信念发生动遥学校教育内容与教育方式，都起到了剧烈的变化。各级学校的课程，大都偏重知识的传授，更由于升学主义挂帅，一般教师的任务也纯粹以教书为本位。这种偏重智育的措施，影响到国民道德的水准。目前社会风气的恶化，社会上暴戾气氛增加，青少年犯罪者日多，犯罪年龄逐渐降低，犯罪方式之多样化及犯罪性质之改变，更造成严重社会问题，主要原因在于此。我们为拯救这个道德沦亡的危机，必须加强道德教育应有的认识与道德观念。然而道德观念是什么，各哲学家的学说颇有不同：乐利主义派以增进人类及快乐为道德的基础，重结果而轻动机。凡行为所得之结果为快乐者即是善，行为所得之结果为苦即是恶;理性主义派注重理性，以道德为最高目标，是根据人类理性所定的规律。道德的观念，应就理性分别善恶，而善恶判断的标准，只重动机而不问结果;完全主义派注重完备的人格，人格价值之实现，即是道德之理想。道德行为具有内外各种因素，在行为未发生前，有动机、欲望的考虑，在行为发生后，就有实际之效果，动机与结果并重。我国当此旧道德观念发生动摇，而新道德观念尚未建立时，为启发学生的道德观念，必须兼采各家之长及恢复我国固有的道德观念。

根据国内教育专家学者的研究，我国实施道德教育的问题，归纳有下列数点：学者偏重知识与技能之传授，而忽略道德的教育与人格的陶冶，家庭与社会教育未能密切配合，抵消了学校道德教育功能;偏重道德教条之灌输，而忽略道德行为之实践;偏重道德习惯之形成，而忽略了道德认知的启发;德育教材缺乏逻辑的组织，未能配合学生心理发展;偏重传统道德教条之教学，而忽略了法律知识之介绍与法治观念的培养等。上述各点明白指出我国各级学校道德教育问题之所在，也是我们要努力解决的问题。我们应该在保有目前成效之前提下发挥及结合各项影响因素来解决道德教育所面临的问题。

道德教育属于认知的方面，它的目的在于对受教者灌输这方面知识。但是道德教育最重要的目的是在于有了道德知识之后如何去行。亚里士多德说：“德为随智的活动，择善而行的习惯，使受教者知道何者当行，何者不当行。能够有判断是非善恶的能力，并在相当范围以内，将一切道德的规范组织成一个体系，使受教者从这个体系中，体认个别道德存在理由，并能根据这个体系，对于个别道德情境知道如何表现如何去身体力行。”柏拉图说：“一个人非经过多年的实行，养成习惯，还经过多年的训练，决不懂得善的真意。”总之道德教育的目的，在于启发“道德的智慧”，进而促成“道德的实践”。

今天，在黄校长的要求下，我们一行七个人，观察了掘港小学每周一次的升旗仪式。他们学校的升旗仪式和其它学校还有所不同。

子羔说：“君子不能从缺口过去。”

那人说：“另外那一边有个洞口，可以逃走。”

子羔说：“君子不能钻洞逃走。”

那人说：“这里有一间房子可以躲避。”

于是，子羔进入了那座房子。追兵过去之后，子羔要离开，对那个受刑的人说：“我不能损害国君制订的法令，因而用刑砍断了您的脚。我现在逃难，这是您报仇报怨的好时候，您为什么还会帮助我逃避灾难呢?”

那人说：“砍断我的脚，本来就是因为我犯了罪，那是无可奈何的事情。当初您审判臣的时候，一开始先根据法律寻找减轻臣刑罚的方法，是想要让臣免于法律的惩罚，这是臣很明白的;在审判完了定罪的时候，要确定刑罚了，您很庄重伤感，都可以从表情上显现出来，这个也是臣很明白的。您不是因为私情而要对臣徇私舞弊，只是因为有天生的仁人之心，才会自然而然地这样做。这是臣要使您逃避灾难的原因。”

孔子听说之后说：“善于做官吏的人，尽力树立起自己的品德;不善于做官的人，总是会多构成怨敌。用公正之心来指导自己的言行，大概可以说子羔做到了。”

从这些可以看出，教育是多么重要，教育是人们必不可少的对吗?大家要履行公民受教育的权利，再者，受教育也公民的义务，既然这样，为什么不好好珍惜呢。

China has long been known as “the land of ceremony and propriety.” Today however people often complain that public morals are no longer what they used to be. A family for example likes a cell of society which also mirrors the general mood of a country. As we know the Chinese have very strong family ties. But with the emergence of a “modern” concept to families people find that problems like high divorce rate and extramarital affairs become more serious than ever before.

Another example: the name of Lei Feng who was always ready to lend a helping hand to others used to be known by almost all Chinese as a model to learn from. But today some people claim that “the spirit of Lei Feng” is outdated. Fashionable ideas say money talks. In the early stage of the market economic development the appearance of some evil phenomena is not surprising. But we should not sit passively by and let it run rampant. Instead active measures should be taken to improve morals and ethics of the public.

Personally the media should play a leading role in this regard. They should spare no effort to praise the good and criticize the evil. They should guide people how to tell the truth goodness and beauty from the fault ugliness and evil.中国素有“礼仪之邦”的今天，然而，人们经常抱怨公共道德也不再是过去的样子了。一个家庭，例如，喜欢一个社会的细胞，这也反映了一个国家的一般情绪。正如我们所知道的，中国人有很强的家庭关系。但随着家庭的“现代”概念的出现，人们发现问题的高离婚率和婚外情变得比以往更为严重。
