在阿伯扭头的那一瞬间，我一下子看清了他的模样：棱角分明的轮廓显示出一种干练，古铜色的皮肤，一副很和蔼的样子。但让我印象最深的，是老人的双眸。那双眸是明亮的，面对心爱的花草时，那双眸里是深深的爱惜，而此刻，我更从那双眸里多读出了一份坚韧与执着。是啊，如果没有这种坚韧与毅力，如果没有对花草的那一份执着的爱，一个七旬的老人又怎么会在这种天气依旧坚持为花木修剪?他早已将花草当成了自己的一部分!以前的我只懂得去欣赏老人手下修剪出的花木的别致，却忽略了老人对花的那一份宝贵的情感，忽略了老人那执着的美……

老人依旧用心地修剪着，神情坚定而执着，他的双手在花木中穿梭着，恍若一只蝴蝶在翩翩起舞。我凝视着他瘦小却坚定的背影，喃喃自语：“原来，这就是美。”

是啊，一份执着也可以是美，美的多么朴素，多么令人感动敬佩。

天空一下子看起来明亮了许多。

With the spread of the consciousness of environmental protection, the word

“low-carbon” has been very popular in life. We can find it in many aspects, such

as low-carbon products, low-carbon consumption, and low-carbon travel and so on.

Generally speaking, more and more people are advocating “low-carbon”

lifestyle.

As implied in the name, “low-carbon” lifestyle is a kind of new pattern of

lifestyle which aims to lowering the carbon dioxide emission in living as much

as possible. For example, some office workers are not proud of driving private

cars from work to home any more but pride themselves on riding or taking public

transportation. In addition, they advocate recycling water and saving energy as

much as they can.

As college students, we also make some contribution in our daily life to

reduce the emission of the carbon dioxide. For example, switch off the light

when leaving and save water. In addition, we should use our knowledge and action

to arouse others’ concern about the importance of lowering emission of carbon

dioxide and lead them to lead a “low-carbon” life.

当金鸡的长啼叩响黎明的神韵，到来的又是新的一天。仍记得三年前，我怀着喜悦的心情踏进高中的校门，开始了我的三年高中生活。高一的狂放，高二的稳重，高三的成熟，三年之中我成长了。

It was a sun day of the summer holiday. the weather was hot. my little brother and i decided to go to the resrvoir to swim by bike. it took us half an hour when we got there, many people were swimming. the we dived into the water……

About an hour later, suddenly somebody called: “help! help!” we were surprised to see a boy struggling in the deep water. as quickly as possible. we swam towards him and pulled him to the shore. he lost his consciousness. we sent him to the nearest hospital at once luckily, he was saved.

In the end, we were worn out, but felt happy. that day was meaningful. we did a good deed!
