I will soon become a middle school student, which means my life will come

Fast food has flooded in our lives nowadays. Concerning fast food,

different people have different attitudes.Some hold that fast food is necessary

in our society while others argue that fast food is harmful to our health. As

far as I am concerned, fast food is necessary but not a must in our lives.

On the one hand, fast food is necessary in our today’s society. Although

fast food is not as nutritious as home-made food, it is a good replacement when

we are in hurry and have no enough time to prepare food by ourselves. It can

help us to save much time. In addition, fast food is cheaper but various and we

can taste different kinds of food by using less money.

On the other hand, however, fast food is not a must. Fast food can be used

to replace our home-made food sometimes, but we should not eat it very often.

Compared with home-made food, the nutrition provided by fast food is far less.

Therefore, eating fast food only can not provide enough nutrition for our

growth. Besides, the problem of food security is another factor we should

consider when eating fast food.

In a word, fast food is necessary sometimes in our lives, but we can not

eat it very often. At the same time, to fit for the need of people, fast food

restaurants should develop and provide more and more nutritious food and

strengthen the supervision of food making.

On my visit to the Zoo their were many interesting animals that grabbed my attention. The first animal was the Black Necked Swan which is also known by its scientific name Cygnus Melan Coryphus. This bird appeared to be very comfortable in its new environment at the Zoo. Their were two of these magnificent birds for me to observe. Both of them had snow white bottoms, with dark black necks and a red orange colored bill. The male swan is known as a cob and the female a pen, the males are usually a bit larger than the females. The areas of origin are in open lakes and marsh lands in the Southern parts of South America, including Chile, Argentina, and Falkland Islands. The black necked swan feeds on Aquatic plants in the zoo, and as wild swan they typically feed on vegetation, insects, and fish spawn. The black necked swan is not in any danger of being extinct. The swans seem to some how stay close to each other and their behavior was calm. I find the black neck on the swan to be very interesting, I had never known of a black necked swan until my recent visit to the zoo. The swans neck was very long it seems at times to wrap around the bottom of its body, as it dives its head into the pond.

走进大门，映入眼帘的是雄伟的三圣塔，讲解员阿姨告诉我们“三圣塔有33米高，它分为塔尖。塔身，塔座三部分。”哇，这座塔真高呀！同学们感叹到，然后，我们走过一座小桥，来到了“历史长廊”，桥的尽头有一座面孔慈祥的菩萨雕像，走到长廊尽头，我们看到了一块奇怪的大石头，上面还有一个小洞，讲解员阿姨告诉我们“这块石头是天上的星星，我们称它为陨石”，最后我们来到李商隐的纪念馆。说到李商隐，我立马想到他写的古诗，有《登乐游园》、有《无题》、有《嫦娥》。

这次出来游玩可真开心呀！我真希望下次还能来这里玩。

Nowadays, more tourist sites are free to the tourists. As one of the hot sites that attracts people to visit, there is no doubt that this policy will bring more visitors. Going to the museum can broden horizon and enrich people’s minds. They can gain the knowledge from these cultural relics, which is much better than reading from textbooks. But at the same time, the large amount of people means challenge. More visitors will damage the cultural relics, for some will behave impolitely, they like to make some marks to remember the trip. What’more, some precious relics will be stolen, as everyone can’t be supervised all the time. Free admission to museum allows more people to witness the historical materials. Today is Dragon Boat Festival. My mother let me watch the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival from the computer. In fact, it was a memorial to Qu Yuan. Qu Yuan was a patriot. He wanted to make his country strong and often give advice to the king, but the king did not like to listen and he drove him out of the country.

Once the Qin state came to the state of Chu, the state of Chu was quickly defeated, the country was soon lost, and Qu Yuan was more sad. Halloween

Halloween always falls on 31 October. It’s a holiday for children. On that day, children always wear fancy clothes and masks. But sometimes if the people are going out, when the children come, they’ll put the candies in a carved pumpkin lanterns. Children will take the candies themselves. Get up this morning, our family is happy New Year to each other.I finished

星期二一整天我都异常兴奋，因为这天下午，我们六年级两个班将要去“石门一中流动科技馆”参观啦！

清明节刚过，天上依然下着淅淅沥沥的小雨。经过一个上午漫长地等待，我们总算登上了开往一中的专车。

专车驶入一中时，我就被眼前的景象折服了，令我暗暗叹服是它的宏伟、壮观，还有它的整洁、美丽。

走进博物馆，我们立刻安静下来，解说员哥哥姐姐进行了简单介绍后，我们便随着一声“散开”，兴高采烈地散开了。

我立马冲向离我最近的一台机器。阅读说明后，我也明白了它的简单用法：就是用一支特殊的笔，通过镜像和一个五角心的凹槽，画出一个五角星。“哼！这有什么难度啊！”我不假思索地启动了机器。一边看着镜子里的图案，一边根据手上的感觉画了起来……突然，我的手一滑，笔偏向了一边。“真倒霉！”我一边嘟囔着，一边想着怎么回到“轨道”上去。通过镜子上的景象，我发现笔在“轨道”的偏右方，心中不禁一喜，连忙将笔头向左移……

“咦！这是怎么回事，笔头怎么向右移动了！难道是我弄错了？”我带着满头的疑问又试了试。这是怎么回事？我的手向左移动，图像上就向右移动……“难道是图像在骗人？不过怎么可能呢！”我马马虎虎的完成了后面的“挑战”。抬头一看，只见操作的下面写着一排字。“这是什么？”我好奇地看了看，才明白这就是我得疑问。

原来在镜子中，因为左右眼的变化，镜子中的左右也会发生变化。所以镜子是在“骗”我呀！

明白了镜子的奥秘，我又去探索其它的秘密。无论是对称脸型、美丽的辉光都十分引人注目。

这的参观不但增长了我们的见识，还让我们明白了科学的有趣和伟大。

谁不想去无垠的宇宙间遨游，谁不想去探索天空的奥秘？无数闪着光辉的星球、光彩夺目的流星群、千万艘往来穿梭的宇宙飞船……宇宙中的一切是多么的美妙。这无垠的天空是何等的新奇。因此，探索宇宙的奥秘成了我最大的向往。

暑假里，我和妈妈去北京旅游，参观了北京天文博物馆。

那天，天气晴朗，万里无云。我坐在公共汽车上，眼睛望着窗外闪过的高楼大厦，脑海中想象着博物馆的样子，幻想着神奇的宇宙。

“旅客同志们，天文博物馆到了，下车的旅客请下车。”一阵清脆的报站声，把我从遐想中惊醒。我急忙挤下汽车，驻足观看。首先映入眼帘的是“天文博物馆”几个苍劲有力的大字，随之看到的是一座高大雄伟的半圆形建筑，十分奇特。我真不知道天文博物馆为什么建成这个模样。

我带着疑问，怀着无比好奇的心情，走进了博物馆大厅。此时，我如同置身于一个色彩缤纷的梦幻世界：镶嵌着各种花纹的天花板晶莹透亮，能映出人影来；几个玻璃大吊灯，庄重典雅；大理石铺成的地面像水洗过一样，十分干净。四周雪白的墙壁上，挂着许多星球的照片，下面还配着星球的介绍，有土星、木星、金星……咦？那是什么？圆圆的，闪着光辉，更有趣的是它还拖着一条长“尾巴”。噢，原来这是彗星。我绕大厅转了一圈儿。发现这展厅大极了，像个大会堂。

从大厅顺楼梯向上攀，就到了第二层的放映厅。我环顾四周，这里与普通的电影院不同，银幕在天花板上，还是个半球形的，像个大锅扣在上面似的。我这才知道博物馆为什么是半球形的。电影开始放映了，是关于星座的影片。周围昏暗了，“天上”出现了满天星斗，顽皮地眨着眼睛，仿佛在向人们问好。“看，那是什么？”随着影片中指示标所指的方向，我抬头仰望，只见一条银色的光带横穿星空，那就是银河。牛郎、织女的爱情故事想必也是家喻户晓了。我正在遐想之中，指示标又指向另一个星座，啊！“天蝎座”。它多么像一只弯弯曲曲的大蝎子呀！我又看了“金牛座”、“天琴座”等。这些星座，有80多种，影片还介绍了有关它们的来历和传说，是那么美丽动人。此时此刻，我仿佛坐在宇宙飞船上，仿佛在和日月星辰交朋友。啊，宇宙给我带来了无尽的想象……

看完电影，我来到了天文博物馆的第三层。第三层是天文望远镜和许多其它天文仪器，我沉醉在美妙的宇宙中。

时间过得好快，转眼已是下午，我恋恋不舍地离开了天文博物馆，深情地望了它最后一眼。因为，我在这里得到了欢乐，获得了知识，了解了宇宙……

Important to save water

Water is a kind of liquid. It has no taste or smell. It is transparent, too. Water is useful and is important to us. Why? For example, we use water to water the plants. We use water to wash our face or to have a bath. We drink water or we will die…Water is also very important for China. There are 2.8 hundred millions of steres of water in China, but everyone can only use 2300 steres. It is only twenty–five per sent in the world.

Not too long ago, there was a man called Jacques Cousteau. He loved the beautiful colors, and the beautiful fish in the sea. However, when he returned some years later, the colorful coral reefs were dead and grey because the factory near the sea poured waste water into the sea. Jacques Cousteau decided to tell people how important it was to save the environment under the sea. He started the“ Cousteau Society ” to help protect life in the sea. Now there are over 30000 members all over the world. Since water covers most of the earth, Cousteau knew that we should keep the sea clean. We should not litter the sea, and should clean up the dirty parts. As water is very important to our environment, he encouraged everyone to take part in protecting our lakes, rivers, sea and ocean.

There are still a few people who are not protecting the water now in the world. For example, some factories pour waste things into the rivers, lakes or into the sea near by. The water there has become very dirty and we can’t use them at all. Although there are seventy–five per sent of water in the world, we can only use fresh water, that there is only a little. So we should use little water when we need to use it. For example, I do not use too much water when I am washing my face or having a bath… It is important for us to keep the water clean. You may ask yourself, have I ever poured or thrown dirty things into the water? If your answer is “No”, that means you have already helped to protect the environment. It is our duty to protect the environment. You may ask yourself again, have I ever helped to clean up the water? If your answer is “Yes”, that means that you have already done something useful to improve the water. If we use up all the water, it is difficult for us to get it from anywhere, including the universe. It is terrible to think that people are too thirsty to live! I believe, that if everyone helps to protect the water, the water must be protected. You do not want to “kill” your son or your grandson, do you? So now let us to protect the water! Please don’t let the last drop of water on the earth is we human’s tear!

Aducation is not an end, but a means to an end. In other words, we do not

educate children only for educating them. Our purpose is to fit them for

life.

In some modern countries it has been fashionable to think that free

education for all can solve all the problems of society and build a perfect

nation. But we can already see that free education for all is not enough.We find

in such countries a far larger number of people with university degrees refusing

to do what they think is "low"work, and. in fact, working with ones hands is

thought to be dirty and shameful in such countries.

But we have only to think a moment to understand that the work of a

completely uneducated farmer is far more important than that of a professor~ we

can live without education,but we die if we have no food. If no one cleaned our

streets and took the rubbish away from our houses, we should get terrible

diseases in our towns.

In fact, when we say that all of us must be educated to fit us for life, it

means that we must be educated in such a way that, firstly, each of us can do

whatever work is suited to his brains and ability and, secondly, that we can

realize that all jobs are necessary to society, and that it is very bad to be

ashamed of ones work. Only such a type of education can be considered valuable

to society.

May 12th, 2008. That’s the most mournful day for our Chinese that will

never be forgotten, because a horrible earthquake happened in Wenchuan, which

caused tens of thousands of children’s death.

On hearing the news, I felt so sorrowful. “Why was the god so cruel to

them?” I asked. They were still at the entrance of the life. They seemed like

little eagles that were willing to open their wings and hover in the sky. Maybe

they would have their brilliant future. What a great loss to our nation! I had

my deepest sympathy on the people in the disastrous area. So I donated some

money and clothes to them. And I also prayed for the dead people sincerely. I

eagerly hope that there would be no earthquakes in the future, so that we could

live a more peaceful life.

It’s beyond reproach that we will come across all kinds of difficulties and

challenges in our life time .Some will be subjected to frequent sadness .Some

will lose their way to move on .Thus,only when we equip ourselves with hope and

courage can we finally succeed in the uncertain future.

Forrest Gump showed so great courage in the movie that he touched me a lot

. For one thing,no matter when and where Jenny got into trouble ,Forrest Gump

would bring her out of it without thinking how dangerous the situation would be

.Maybe we should all fell ashamed that we love ourselves more than we love love

,but Forrest showed great courage in love .For another,Forrest gump risked his

life to save Bubba in the war.It’s courage that helped Forrest gain a series of

honor after war .Forrest Gump is beautiful for his perseverance and touches

others with his courage.

A person can’t do without courage in terms of love and friendship ,let

alone life . A weak person may avoid the difficulties ,but a person with courage

will face up to it head-on. Therefore,let’equip ourselves with great

courage.

Panda is our country’s treasure, we should protect it. nowadays, we see

from the TV that panda is less than before, it is not only because of the damage

of the environment, but also the weakness of the panda. Everybody loves panda,

it is so lovely, a panda has two black eyes, it is very lazy, it likes sleeping

all the time. When we see its round body shape, we can’t help loving them. In

order to see the lovely animal, we need to protect them. We must protect the

environment, like not to throw the rubbish away, not to cut down the trees. We

condemn such behavior that killing the animals. Protecting the animals is

everybody’s job.

Today, with the development of high-technology, we can get access to all

kinds of high-tech products, such as computer, digital cameras and so on. These

products make our life more convenient, we can keep in touch with family and

friends any time any where. Our life has been changed by the high-tech, we live

in a fast-pace world. Cell phone influences our life deeply, everyone owns it.

While cell phone brings many dangers. First, cell hone contains radiation which

hurts people’s body. Today, more and more people die of cancer, the main reason

is that the high-tech products radiate their bodies, in the long run, the bodies

get sick. Cell phone is one of such products, it hurts our bodies as long we use

it. Second, cell phone distracts our attention about discovering the beauty of

life. People pay their attention on cell phone, they count on it by reading news

and making friends, being less going out. We should use cell phone properly.

Should students go on further study or find a job after leaving high

school?

Time spent in campus is not always treated with gracious look, but some

parents may choose other ways for the longevity of their childrens

post-high-school period, namely, find the adolescents a job, rather than sending

them to a college. I can find myself against this act for a thousand reasons,

amongst which we can figure some strongest ones as follows:

My first con against this behavior is that education is not just a benefit

but also ones rights. Without education , as Gorge Orwell had once said ,is to

be deprived of the most precious privilege in our time as a modern man. With

college education , youngsters can choose a better way of doing thing correctly

and more efficiently. The sharp contrast between those who have received well

education and those without is not just financially, but more vitally,

spiritually.

Admittedly, we can find cases of some one achieves without college

education, but these cases are famous only because they are rare. Those people

who succeed with a college degree are so many that this would seem to be a must

and a natural part of elites. The absence of university education is hard to

imagine in our days. The prospect of those juvenile workers or businessmen would

be even dimmer than ever before .For in our age, knowledge is not only the

power, but also the know-how to solving problems and gaining a much larger

fortune.

Spring Festival ,known as the Chinese New Year,is the most important

holiday in China.From late January to early February,Chinese people are busy

preparing for the New Year.They clean their houses ,have their hair cut,and buy

new clothes .Jiaozi or dumpling is most popular.To those who live far away from

their home,this festival is also a framily reunion occasion.

And they often go back home to celebrate the festival with their family.The

first day of the new year is the time when people visit their friends adn wish

each other good luck in the new year.
