Chinese New Year or Spring Festival  the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It  sometimes called the "Lunar New Year" by Englh speakers. The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month (Chinese: 正月; pinyin: zhēng yuè) in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; th day  called Lantern Festival. Chinese New Years Eve  known as chú xī. It literally means "Year-pass Eve".

Chinese New Year  the longest and most important festivity in the Lunar Calendar. The origin of Chinese New Year  itself centuries old and gains significance because of several myths and traditions. Ancient Chinese New Year  a reflection on how the people behaved and what they believed in the most.

Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese, Chinese New Year  considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbors, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans (Seollal), Tibetans and Bhutanese (Losar), Mongolians (Tsagaan Sar), Vietnamese (Tt), and formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu). Outside of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, Chinese New Year  also celebrated in countries with significant Han Chinese populations, such as Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. In countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States, although Chinese New Year  not an official holiday, many ethnic Chinese hold large celebrations and Australia Post, Canada Post, and the US Postal Service sues New Years themed stamps.

Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of the Chinese new year vary widely. People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It  also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”, “wealth”, and “longevity”. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper  a feast with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next morning, children will greet their parents by whing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes. The Chinese New Year tradition  a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wh peace and happiness for everyone.

Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously numbered years, outside China its years are often numbered from the reign of Huangdi. But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various scholars, making the year 2009 "Chinese Year" 4707, 4706, or 4646.

My father is a typical man, who is not very talkative. When other fathers

A moment later, a corner of the sun appeared. The sun was rising very slowly and reluctantly as if it was unwilling to leave the sea. At last the entire sun lay on the horizon, so big and so red, it looked like a huge ripe orange or a tender half-boiled yolk. It hesitated and shivered a moment, then said goodbye to the sea and rose into the air. The scene was very beautiful, touching and magnificent which I’ll never forget.

When winter comes, the days are always full of rain and there are less sunshine, so it is so rare to enjoy the sunshine, people will feel excited to see the sunny days. As for me, I will be very happy when the sun comes out in the winter. I will get some plans to spend my time in the warm day, sometimes I will call my friends out and have a picnic in the park, we can not only enjoy the sunshine, but also can have a nice talk, it will strengthen our communication. Last summer holiday, I went to Beijing for a week. The first day when I took off at the capital airport , it gave me the first feeling was cleanand tidy. The people in Beijing were very friendly. T he second day, I visited Beijing city. I went to the WangFujing Ave , I tasted many famous snacksand Beijing Roast Duck, they are very delicious. I also went to the XinDongfang square, it was a very big shopping mall, it took me about half an hour to walk between two doors. I can saw many famous brands: Cucci, Chanel, Rolex, Seiko, even the new Audi cars. It made me really want to stay in Beijing .The third day I visited the Tian’anmen Square, and it’s very beautiful. And the Chang’an Ave is wide ,straight and clean. The forth day, I went to the Forbidden City. It made me felt the emperor ’ s royal mausoleum was very luxury. The fifth day I went to the Summer Palace, I went boating there. The sixth day, I visited the Great Wall, it’s very terrific, this great architectural complex told us how clever the Chinese people are ! 今天是抗战胜利70周年纪念日，我们一家人早早的围坐在沙发上观看阅兵电视直播。

抗战胜利70周年开始了！我的心情很激动。习主席与夫人在天安门内迎接来宾，随后庄重的走上天安门城楼。

当主持人李总理宣布活动开始。电视机屏上出现了钟摆的画面，1945、1955……2015！钟声响起。李总理大声宣布“鸣炮”！70响大炮响彻云霄，200名国旗护卫队迈着有力的步伐护卫着五星红旗，合唱团的义勇军进行曲伴着红旗冉冉升起。习主席走上台发表重要讲话。让我们铭记的伟大真理：正义必胜！人民必胜！和平必胜！。

天空中出现一架架举着五星红旗的空中护旗队。有群飞机摆出了“70”的字样。让人震撼，一架架飞机带着彩色的烟飞向天空。抗战老兵方队也一起接受检阅，习主席起身回应。

习主席坐上了检阅车。不断的问候战士们，战士们跟着习主席的车望去。检阅开始，战士们迈着整齐的步伐走过天安门广场，就连女兵仪仗队们都整齐的走过，海陆空仪仗队……随后，17个不同国家的仪仗队走过。后面是坦克方队，空降兵方队……

最后，一只只白鸽飞向太空，一只只彩色气球飞向蓝天，阅兵仪式结束了。

虽然文字简短，但不足以表达我激动的心情，中国抗战胜利７０周年阅兵是向世界宣布“我们是胜利的国家！”

今天，我们学校举办了科技节。
