我每年的暑假都喜欢，今年我去了北京过暑假。北京是我们的首都。我去爬长城和去了很多有趣的地方。我过得很愉快。整个暑假，我去了普陀和香山。我看到美丽的海。我很享受晚饭后独自走在沙滩上或者是在月光下游泳。那真的很棒。

I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during my summer vacation.They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily. Summer view of the countryside is very beautiful. I can do many interesting things there. I am used to getting up early in the morning, breathing the fresh air,listening to the birds singing, and enjoying the green trees, red flowers and the river. I like fishing with my friends. When night comes, I sit under the tree with my grandma, listening to her telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city. Beijing is the capital of China. It takes an hour and forty minutes from 你住的地方 to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in Beijing.I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. My parents and I go to guilin tourism, heard that there are a lot of places of interest.

我和爸爸妈妈一起去桂林旅游，听说那里有很多名胜古迹。

就在那一天，我和爸爸妈妈就去了桂林著名的岩石洞进行观光——芦笛岩。

我们一进到芦笛岩，洞里面黑漆漆。解说员打开手电筒来为我们照明，给我们解说山石：山石闻名中外，奇形古怪。

我们开始走向岩石，并开始听解说员讲解山石。第一块山石是：瓜果飘香，代表着有许许多多的瓜果蔬菜，有节瓜、有大白菜、有佛手瓜、有苹果、有葡萄、有西瓜……第二块山石是一个空地，名叫：水晶宫。我觉得这里莫名奇妙的，地面非常的光滑，我找了一块大岩石摸一摸，冷冰冰的。突然，现场关灯，岩石上出现了五颜六色的光芒，像许多颗星星在往地下照耀。还有奏起了一些古老的音乐，仿佛到了“仙境”。再走了几个岩石洞，我们到了“雄狮送客”，在大大的岩石上面，坐着一只威猛的狮子，欢迎游客们下次再来参观芦笛岩。

这一天，我看到了各种各样的岩石，也让我的想象力插上了翅膀。

climbing The Great Wall

During the summer holidays， my fahter and I visited Beijing. On the second day after we got to Beijing， the guide took us to climb the Great Wall. On that day， it was sunny. It took us forty minutes to reach the foot of the Great Wall. It was for the first time that I saw the Great Wall. Oh， how grand and magnificent it is!

I couldn‘t wait to climb upward， taking my father‘s hand. How many people climbing the Great Wall are! My father and I took photos among the crowd as we climbed. After half an hour. I felt a little tired. My fahter encouraged me in the words， "Teng Teng， do you know that you are not a man if you fail to reach the Great Wall? Come on!" Hearing that， I refreshed myself and tried my best to climb up. In the end， I reached the Hero Slope. I felt very happy and proud， standing on the Hero Slope. I felt myself to be a real man now.

Last summer my parents and I had a trip to Hainan.

We went there by train at six oclock. When we got there we found that the air in Hainan is fresh and Hainan is very beautiful.We ate local foodtoo.The food was delicious. We took many photos in Hainan. We had a very good time in Hainan.

travel is beneficial to us in at least three ways.

first, by traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places. we will see with our own eyes many places read of in books, and visit some famous cities and scenic spots.

second, we will meet people with different interests and see strange and different things when we travel. we can get ideas of the conditions and customs of other people, taste different foods and local flavours if we like. in this way, we can understand how differently other people live.

third, travel will not only help us to gain knowledge of geography and history and other knowledge, which will arouse our deeplove :for our m0therland, but also will help us keep healthy and make us less narrow-minded. travel does benefit us both mentally and physically.

with all these advantages of travel, it is no wonder that travel has now become more popular than ex‘er in china.
