大年的初四，天气晴朗，阳光明媚，天气暖洋洋的，柳枝由硬变软，由黄变绿，流露出一丝春天的气息。我们一家人去夫子庙观灯。夫子庙的灯会早在明代初期已有了观灯这个习俗，距今已有六百多年的历史了。距当时的史书记载：明太祖洪武五年（公元1372年）的元宵节，朱元璋下令在秦淮河上燃放水灯万盏，相传为一代盛事。“秦淮灯船之盛，天下所无。两岸河房，雕柱画栏，绮窗丝障，十里珠帘……直到今天，秦淮河畔夫子庙一带，仍然有元宵灯市的习惯。现在的夫子庙的灯市灯会是从正月初一至正月十五，特别是元宵节那天晚上去夫子庙观灯的人会多达几十万。
