Far and away the most important holiday in China is Spring Festival,also known as the Chinese New Year.To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the West.the dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar rather than the GREgorian calendar,so the timing of the holiday varies from late January to early February.

To the ordinary Chinese,the festival actually begins on the eve of the lunar New Year’s Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar.But the 15th of the first month,which normally is called the Lantern Festival,means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the country.

放烟花的时间终于到了。“嘭嘭嘭”，许多烟花都升天了，抬头仰望，你看，那烟花多美呀，像一位位婀娜多姿的仙女在翩翩起舞，像一只只蝴蝶在展翅飞翔，又好像许多绽开的花朵在与星星聊天……真是无比生动!

看着那一张张笑脸，我也忍不住跃跃欲试，随后，我也拿出烟花，点了火，烟花陆续升天，我高兴得拍着手跳了起来。朵朵“鲜花”把深蓝的夜空装扮得绚丽多彩，似乎比那春天还要充满生机、充满快乐，仿佛是一幅栩栩如生的图画。

My happy Spring Festival After the New Year’s Eve dinner with my family, we began to sit down in front of the TV, and enjoyed 2015 CCTV Spring Festival gala. I was too happy to count how many red packets I got. The following days, we visited my grandparents and some of relatives.
