农历十二月二十四日是“神明”上天“述职”之时。是日起，家家户户大扫除，用物和被帐都行清洗，谓之“采囤”。

除夕前一二天，家家户户制作各式粿品，以备过年之用。

除夕日外出家人都得赶回家团聚。除夕夜全家围炉吃团圆饭。饭后大人们给孩童、子女给父母上辈，分发“压岁钱”。是晚农家水缸要贮满水，米缸要填满米，灯火不能熄灭，以象征“岁岁有余”、“年年不断炊”的好兆头。

过年夜守岁之俗十分普遍。守候新春来临，新年钟声敲响，家家户户鸣放鞭炮。

The Spring Festival is the most important festival for the Chinese people.   All family members will get together to have a big meal on the New Years Eve. Well watch the fireworks and eat dumplings. And some families will sit together to chat or watch the get-together of CCTV. Its a big and special programme.

Almost every family will watch it until 12 oclock. During the spring festival,people can visit their relatives or friends .Its also a happy time for children . They can get a red package from parents and grandparents, or relatives , and there is money in it. So the children are very happy during the festival.

Before the festival comes, everyone will do some cleaning. That means they can sweep away the bad luck. They will decorate the doors and windows with paper cuts. That makes the house very beautiful. On the New Years Eve, everyone will get together and have a big meal. They wont go to bed until 12. On the New Years day, everyone will wish others "Happy New Year". Children can get lucky money. They will wear new clothes. The children are the happiest, because they can wear new clothes and get lucky money.

我们的传统节日春节一到大街小巷张灯结彩，爆竹声声到处都是节日的喜庆。

说起春节，我想起了一个传说：很久很久以前，有一头叫“年”的怪兽，它长得凶神恶煞，住在村庄旁的深海中，每到除夕，它就会上岸，去旁边的村庄吞食牲畜，还要伤人命，人们害怕得躲到了山上。有一年，一个老翁出现在它们的面前，对他们说：“那个来捣乱的‘年’怕红色和响声。”于是，村民们手忙脚乱地准备起来，把红色的春联贴在门上，然后，用竹子互相敲打发出声音，“年”就落慌而逃，从此以后，我们过年的除夕夜家家户户灯火通明，我们每年的大年初一走亲向友，从此，春节就流传到了现在，变得越来越隆重。

随着我们科技的发展，家家户户变得富裕，我们的春联变成贴图，还有挂着灯笼，竹子的敲打声变成了烟花爆竹。随着“噼里啪啦”的烟花声音在空中绽放开来，像争奇斗艳的“仙女散花”，又像下烟花雨，有红、黄、紫……天空被打扮得炫丽多彩，它们照到了人们的脸上，人们的脸被照得喜气洋洋，人们过年的习俗还有包团圆果，大扫除……

我们中国的传统文化可真丰富呀!

My dream is to study abroad in the future. I am always that kind of life can come true soon. But, before I realize my dream, I have to do some preparation. I think the most important thing I need to do first is to adapt the life there.

It is said that there is a big difference between the eastern and western culture.

If I know nothing, it is easy for me to have culture conflict. It will put me into an embarrass place. For example, dragon is the leader for all animals and it has holy good meaning in china. But it means violence in the western country.

I need to learn as much the cultural conflicts as possible to make my oversea life become easier.

我的梦想是以后可以去留学。我总是希望那样的生活能早日成真。但是，在实现梦想之前，我得做一些准备工作。我想我首先需要做的是适应那里的生活。据说东西方文化是有差异的。如果我什么都不知道，很容易发生文化冲突。这会置我于一个尴尬的地方。例如，龙是在中国是万兽之王，有着无比神圣的意义。但是在西方国家则是暴力的象征。我要尽量了解的文化冲突，这样我的留学生活才会变得更简单。

A new year ,a new start,when I stand on the edge of a new year,I cant help thinking about my plan of next year.

Just as the old saying：“Well began is the half of the success.”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ,and then ,at the beginning ,Im quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others.

But ,what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible. While,I will do my best to live up with what I have planned,and the result will prove it.

In China, every year the Spring Festival every household this paragraph of time is the most busy time. My house is no exception.

On New Years eve the day before, and I will help with the preparation of the New Years eve: mothers and grandmothers made cleaning, reception guests, making dumplings, etc. Although the work is very tired, but it can be fun, especially when making dumplings.

The freshness of color of beautiful dumpling seems very simple, actually it can be complicated. Want to ready before the first flour and water, and together, hard rub, rub, pressure, and then roll them with a rolling pin into sheets thin wrappers. In the day, because of last night, shou sui, I the whole morning in bed asleep and wake in the mind still thinking about last night and friends to play.

在中国，每年春节的这段时间正是每家每户最热闹的时候。我家也不例外。

在除夕的前一天，我就帮着妈妈和外婆做除夕的准备：打扫卫生、接待客人、包饺子什么的。这些活儿虽然很累，但是做起来可好玩儿了，尤其是做饺子的时候。

那些色鲜味美的饺子一个个看似十分简单，其实做起来可复杂了哩。先要把之前预备好的面粉和水和在一起，使劲儿的揉、搓、压一番，然后用擀面杖把它们擀成一张张薄薄的饺子皮儿。我经过好一番努力，终于擀出了第一张自己做的饺子皮!我把它轻轻地摊在手上，生怕它一不小心破掉。饺子皮已经全部完工!现在应该开始好好地准备饺子的馅儿了。妈妈用菜刀麻溜地躲着肉末，外婆则在一旁洗着芹菜。我的任务呢，十八猪肉末和芹菜和在一起，做成猪肉芹菜馅。不一会儿的工夫，饺子馅儿也全部完工。剩下的工作就由那些经验丰富的舅妈们来完成，我们小孩子只等着第二天除夕品尝美味的饺子了!

终于到了期盼已久的除夕夜了!外婆家里聚满了亲朋好友，大家围在大圆桌四周，吃起了团圆饭和我们昨天包的饺子。男人们喝酒，女人们看春晚，小孩子们都吵着闹着要到院子里放鞭炮，真是热闹极了。

到了大年初一，由于昨夜守岁的原因，我整个上午都赖在床上睡着懒觉，心里还想着昨晚和小伙伴们打闹的情景。

这真是一个充满传统文化气息的十分快乐的除夕夜!

Chinese New Year is the tradition festival in China.It is the same as the christmas day in the west country,it is welcome the new year.

It is the day that the families get together.

The spring festival is usually in the February ,sometimes in January.In the spring festival,every family all paste the lucky inscriptions,they fire the cracker,they eat the dumplings.The day before the new years first day is the new years eve,same as the christmas eve,all the families get together to have the new yaars dinner,wishes each other,talk about the wishes about the new year.Small children will receive the money given to children as a lunar new year gift.

I think Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. It’s a beginning that is new and full of luck for Chinese.

A few days before the Spring Festival, people will clean their house and do some shopping. They’re busy days for adults because of much house’s work. But children always look forward to the coming of those days, which is due to buying much delicious food and many beautiful clothes. Al seems new during those days.

In the New Year’s Eve, children will have their bodies cleaned and dress nice clothes early. Why do they seem to be poppet? Because adults always give more lucky money to the good children.

In the evening, all the members of family will sit around the table and have a big meal. Fish and meat often appears on the table. After the dinner, many families will watch TV together and enjoy the Party of Spring Festival on CCTV. At twelve o’clock, they will count seconds, “three, two, one” and say “Happy New Year” to each other. In the countries, some people will set off fireworks to celebrate the New Year.

The next morning, people don’t eat meat. Instead, they have vegetable dish. And then, adults will visit their friends and relatives with their children. It’s a good job for children because they can get more lucky money to buy things they like.
