If that were an examination topic, most students would tear it apart, offering a long list of complaints: from local smog(烟雾)to global climate change, from the felling(砍伐)of forests to the extinction of species. The list would largely be accurate, the concern legitimate. Yet the students who should be given the highest marks would actually be those who agreed with the statement. The surprise is how good things are, not how bad.

Indeed, if people lived, consumed and produced things in the same way as they did in 1900 , the world by now would be a pretty disgusting place: smelly, dirty, toxic and dangerous.

The reasons why they dont, and why the environment has not been ruined, have to do with prices, technological innovation, social change and government regulation in response to popular pressure. That is why todays environmental problems in the poor countries ought, in principle, to be solvable.

Raw materials have not run out, and show no sign of doing so. Logically, one day they must: the planet is a finite place. Yet it is also very big, and man is very ingenious. What has happened is that every time a material seems to be running short, the price has risen and, in response, people have looked for new sources of supply, tried to find ways to use less of the materials, or looked for a new substitute. For this reason prices for energy and for minerals have fallen in real terms during the century. The same is true for food. Prices fluctuate, in response to harvests, natural disasters and political instability; and when they rise, it takes some time before new sources of supply become available. But they always do, assisted by new farming and crop technology. The long-term trend has been downwards.

4、学校的图书馆要对学生开放，允许学生借阅图书，开拓学生的视野。班级要办图书角，争取成立班级图书馆。

感悟：学生的知识来源渠道太窄，尤其是农村的学生。他们对知识充满了渴望。可惜学校图书馆暂时没有办法满足他们的要求。“书香校园”的建设任重道远！

5、 多布置作业，甚至抄作业做，对未完成作业的同学要严厉惩罚。

感悟：对最后一点我赞成，可前两点我有自己的看法。大概是小学的“题海

战术”功勋“卓著”，小学毕业考试的成绩让学生们体会到了它的巨大功能，令她们念念不忘。到初中之后学习的难度增加，他们又想起来对自己用这一狠招。我的可怜的学生！

6、 多讲课本上的课后习题。

感悟：自己的确对课后的“研讨与练习”关注不够，大部分是要求学生自己

完成，事后的检查也没有。学生是在提醒我不能丢了教材！

7、不能拖课，要将课间十分钟还给学生。

感悟：以后无条件执行！

8、上课声音洪亮，多讲普通话。

感悟：自己是外乡人，普通话有时讲的不标准，带有很重的地方口音。本来一进新学校，我自己格外注意这个问题，不想还是出问题。还是要加强普通话训练，“说”是教师的重要基本功之一！

9、多写正楷字，一笔一画的写！

感悟：本来自认为自己的字写得不错，周围同事也是这么说的，可在学生面前却行不通了。究其原因是，自己的字连笔多，有时字多或者一急，就显得潦草。这真是一个不应该出现的意见。

10、课堂上多训练朗读。

感悟：与自己的想法不谋而合。在教学中我一贯主张读中感、读中悟，甚至仿照韩军的名文写了《没有朗读，语文教学找不到回家的路》一文，表达自己的观点。可能问题出在自己的朗读水平不高，对学生朗读指导不到位上。

11、多举行如书法、朗诵等形式的竞赛。

感悟：以赛代练，以赛代学，在丰富多彩的活动中学习语文，是大家的一致追求。我在今后要多动脑筋，丰富他们的学习与生活！上次的“这就是我”语文实践活动，以“赛”的形式，鼓励学生全程参与，气氛热烈，学生的热情十分高涨！

12、多用多媒体和扩音器。

感悟：现代化的东西大家都喜欢！

13、平时测验要写作文，可以训练学生作文的速度，提高写作水平！

感悟：有两次单元检测，我考虑到时间的关系，就不要求他们作文，没有想到他们自动请缨。我的感觉是：喜从天降，何乐而不为！写作是语文教学的重点和难点，次数训练是基础，所谓量变导致质变嘛。学生都懂这个道理！

14、抓好预习，利用多种机会养成学生自学的习惯。

感悟：教学的最高境界就是：教是为了不教。好的学习习惯会让他们受益终生！“地球人都知道”！

15、不准对学生瞪眼睛，不准大声批评学生，不准打断学生的发言，不准拐弯批评学生。

感悟：学生是聪明和敏感的，我们每个老师都要当心呀！
