cultures every day. Hearing the blaring of horns the moment you step out of your

我们这儿瞧不见赛龙舟，是端午节的一大遗憾。可是我们很快又找到了新的乐子――举办砸蛋大赛。端午节的蛋不再是拿来吃的，而是拿来砸的，或两两相碰比谁的更硬，有或者拿来当子弹，瞄准射击。当砸蛋大赛落下帷幕时，只留下满地疮痍，一股腥臭，确实其乐无穷。

端午节那天，妈妈都会用根根细绳细致地编成筐，按以往的习俗，编8个层，奶奶煮好蛋后就拿出3个最光滑的。底层放一个，之后是桃子。每种都是3个，用了6层。第2层就是一个步老虎，是看护这些东西的。最终挂在门口，按照长辈说的，纪念屈原。取下来时，就把筐整理好，放在一个盒子里，与比她早出生的姐妹团聚。

而就在初五吃一天的享受中，端午节就顺利闭幕了。

五月初五是我们中国的一个重要的传统节日之一——端午节。端午节又叫端阳、端五……

在我的记忆里，端午节是在前两天就开始准备材料之中开始的。

农历五月初四，我们家就开始了包粽子。将粽叶备好，洗干净，与粽子放在一起，之后就开始了备食料。包粽子，一般有甜咸两种，甜的馅用红枣、红糖，咸的馅则是用红烧肉、蛋黄包成的。

我跟着奶奶学包粽子：先将粽叶包成一个三角形，再舀起一勺浸泡好的糥米倒入漏斗状的粽叶，接着把你要放的馅给放进去，然后又添上一些糥米。注意，倒入的糥米要与那包好的三角相平才行，再把那多出来的米部分给包进去，最后用粽绳把粽子给捆上。一个粽子，就这样包好了。

到了端午这一天，将昨天包好的粽子用开水煮好，就可以开吃了！粽子出锅后，再把粽叶给扒开一看，那包着红烧肉的，粽体则是红红的，油光可鉴；而包红枣的则是白白的，那红红的枣儿待咬开了粽子才能觅得它的芳踪。按老一辈的习俗端午这一天，还要在家门外挂蒲、艾叶等，据说这样可以除蛇、虫，不会让它们进来。端午这天按习俗还要除邪气，其实就是把艾草这些东西煮在水里用来洗澡。

端午节的赛龙舟，是一项十分热闹的比赛，每年观看的人都非常得多。那擂鼓的人把鼓擂得巨响，各个运动员鼓足了劲儿用力地划船。一条条龙舟像离弦的箭一样向前冲去……场面热火朝天，即使没有得到名次，也没有关系，大家依然锣鼓震天地玩得开心，争取下一年再次努力创佳绩。一次比赛的结束后，是另外一次比赛的开始，新的比赛又在震天的呐喊中开始了。

又到了每年一次的节，爸爸妈妈带我回河南老家去扫墓，一路上，春光明媚，阳光灿烂，高速公路两旁，有嫩绿的麦田、腊黄的菜花、粉红的桃花、雪白的梨花，多美的春色呀！

河南的可隆重了，我们家的祖坟分布在风景秀丽的清源上，清明时节满山遍野都是上山扫墓的人，山上一片热闹。大人们准备了许多糕饼点心、水果饮料，一整袋一整袋用扁担挑着，小孩们有的拿锄头、有的拿铲子随后跟着，一家人一起上山扫墓。扫墓活动可有意思了，每找到一处祖坟，我们就分头忙开了，有的除草、有的添土，不一会儿就把杂草丛生的坟头整理得干净了许多，接着还要把五颜六色的墓钱插在坟头的新土中，并用毛笔蘸上红漆把墓碑上的字工工整整的描新一遍，这一来，日久未修的祖坟顿时面目一新了。

大人们取出供品摆在坟前，点燃香烛，还烧了许多纸钱，这些供品是给祖先吃的，纸钱是给祖先用的.，表示我们后辈的孝心。最后大家要按从大到小的辈份轮流磕头祭拜，有的口中还念念有词呢，瞧，表哥念着：“祖先保佑，让我高考多考五分！”多可笑呀。还有更有趣的事呢，爷爷的墓碑左列留有一行未曾描过的文字，我呢不假思索拿起笔就描，慌得爸爸一声惊叫：“别动！”，原来这行字是留着给奶奶逝世后才能写上的，我差点闯了祸，赶紧在爷爷坟前磕了四个响头，大人们乐得呵呵大笑。

扫完了墓，我们都累坏了，下山的脚步一瘸一瘸的，但这一天过得真有意义，清明节让我对我们的祖先增添了几分敬意，也密切了我和表哥表姐的亲情。

我的老家永康过春节有很多习俗，有趣极了。

I was waiting for the doctor to finish his examination.I was worried and nervous.Would my father have to operate?Would a blood transfusion be necessary?What would he have to say?

Dr Lin was a heart expert.He was an excellent doctor and his examinations were always complete.He listened to the patients heart,took his blood pressure and temperature,gave him an X-ray and examined his eyes and ears.The doctor finall completed his examination and spoke to me.He told me that heart trouble is never a minor illness,but this wasnt a serious heart attack.He advised losing weight,getting plenty of sleep and eating good meals.Smoking and drinking would be harmful,of course.Dr Lin said it would be necessary to be careful for a while,but he was confident that there was nothing to worry about.

I felt much better after I spoke to Dr Lin.I was certain that my father would be up and around again very soon.Hes seventy five years old now,but he can still live for a long time if he takes good care of himself.

To sum up, our customs have value and are an important part of our culture. Therefore, I dont believe that we should abandon our traditional customs when we move to another country. At the same time, I believe that we should learn about the customs of our new home and follow those that appeal to us. In this way, we can remember and celebrate our old culture while adapting to our new one.

今年春节，我们回外婆家过年。外婆家在恩施，那是一个少数民族自治区，在那儿，我度过了一个土家春节。

春节走亲访友，每当客人到自己家做客，好客的土家人有自己特有的欢迎方式——放鞭炮。放鞭炮也有讲究，先放上一串长长的细鞭炮，完了，主人再放上几个炮竹，那种大大的炮竹，发出很大的响声，狗狗听了都会吓跑。

放完鞭炮，主人领客人到专门烤火取暖的地方。这个地方很特别，土家人在地上挖了一个方形的大坑，里面堆上柴火，熊熊的火焰散发出热量，大家都围坐在火坑旁边取暖聊天。天花板上掉下一个长长的铁棍，末端挂上铁壶，热水就是从这里面烧出来的。天花板上挂了很多大块大块的腊肉，是柴火燃烧后的烟熏制而成，象在向大家展示着今年的劳动成果。烤火的同时，主人端上当地特有的绿茶，小茶几上摆满了各种诱人的小吃，土家人自制的玉米泡，麦芽糖，过年必备的糍粑。

吃饭的时候到了，客厅的桌子上摆满了美味佳肴。印象最深的是年肉。这个菜只有过年才会准备，是用很多块足有一厘米厚实的腊肉和糯米一起蒸的。里面的糯米饭是我的最爱，糯米饭飘着腊肉特有的香味，闻起来就要流口水。除此之外，洋芋土豆饭也非常有特色，土豆的香味夹杂着锅巴的香味，就是没有菜，我也可以吃两碗。

It is widely noted that lots of traditional culture is disappearing along with the development of technology. Many ancient architectures and traditional ways of living have been deserted. It seems that the traditional culture and craftsmanship will be replaced in this modern era.

The following reasons can account for the above phenomenon. Firstly, traditional technologies are always considered ineffective while the new sciences are always highly efficient, because modern science and technology facilitate both our daily and academic life a lot, with which we can save much money and time. Secondly, it is costly to protect the traditional culture, especially the maintenance and repair of the historical buildings.

In my opinion, although traditional culture is an ancient heritage, it couldnt keep pace with the development of society. It is the tide of history that the traditional culture and technology will no doubt be eliminated in the end.

There‘s so much for me to talk about in terms of traditions of family and community as a chinese. Confucius alone gave us much food for thought which is still being advocated but hardly practiced today. Wasn‘t there a time when things were simpler and people were more humble?Once bogged down in private interest, one finds oneself blinded by the greed and selfishness.

For the audience, they should strengthen the discrimination ability of the false goods, and would not be cheated by the fake television advertising as the cheap price and convenience.
