今天大年三十、今天下午，爸爸忙着贴春联去了，我跑到了厨房，想看看妈妈准备了什么样的年饭。嗬!厨房里好热闹，大碟小碗，摆得哪都是，里面装着好多我喜欢吃的菜，我好高兴啊!妈妈正在在做圆子，我问妈妈：“过年为什么要做圆子?”妈妈说:“做圆子是为了一家人团团圆圆在一起过年。”我们一家四口又忙了一下午，一桌丰盛的年饭摆在了桌上。我们围在饭桌旁边，互相祝福着，吃起了团圆饭。

吃完年夜饭，“噼哩啪啦”的炮竹声，五彩缤纷的烟花在夜空中涌现，处处可以感受到热闹与喜庆。家人可以围坐在火炉旁，一边吃着零食，一边观看一年一度丰富多彩的春节晚会。到了十二点，新年的钟声敲响，我们一起大声地倒数时针：“4、3、2、1”，新的一年到来啦!我拉着表弟依次给长辈们拜年。他们笑呵呵地给我们发压岁钱。这是我们小孩子最开心的时候，我们开心地拿上压岁钱开始守岁。我们在院子里放炮竹，开心极了!

端午节是每年的五月初五，它又名龙舟节、五月节、女儿节、天中节、端阳节……

古时人们把端午节说成“恶日”，他们说这一天出生的孩子如果是女孩养大了就会害母亲，如果是男孩养大了就会害父亲。而且，这一天谁家盖房子，谁家全家都要秃头。

当然，这只是传说。关于端午节的由来可是有据可查的哦。史书记载，端午节与我国历史上伟大的诗人屈原有关。他是楚国的大臣。当时的秦国势力强大，经常攻打其他国家。屈原向楚王提出联和其他国家一起攻打秦国的建议，被贵族子兰陷害革职流放。屈原眼看自己的国家就要灭亡，在五月初五这天跳汨罗江自尽。人们为了不让鱼虾吃了屈原的尸体，在江里投了饭团、鸡鸭蛋及雄黄酒喂鱼等。后来，每年五月初五人们都要包粽子纪念屈原，便形成了端午节。

端午节是中国四大传统节日之一。唐朝文秀有一首和端午节相关的诗《端午》：“节分端午自谁言，万古传闻为屈原。堪笑楚江空渺渺，不能洗得直臣冤。”可见我国历史上人们都屈原的评价很高，都很爱戴他。

另外，端午节还要在门前挂艾草、菖蒲、蒜头等，据说可从驱毒避邪。

当然，关于端午节的故事还有很多，我就不一一细说了。我还是说说我们作文班包粽子活动吧！包粽子的材料有粽叶、糯米、肉、蜜枣……你可以根据个人要求选择。

我和作文班的同学们一起包粽子。我先拿一片粽叶把叶子围成一个圆椎体，把米放进去，再把余下的叶子在周周包起来，再拿线系好就包好一个粽子……

我的自我感觉很好，回家吃也很好吃，这个特别的端午节就在我的良好感觉中度过了。

端午节又称重五节，天中节，五月节等。据说，端午节是由一个名叫屈原的人所得来的。屈原是一个有才华，有气节，有壮志的二闾大夫，但才华无处施展，未能救国家于水火，因此跳下了汨罗江。人们对屈原的英雄精神久久不能忘怀。因此，端午节有了吃粽子，划龙舟的习俗。据说，人们往江河中投入粽子，是让江河中的鱼不去吃屈原的遗体，划龙舟是为了捞救屈原。人们还把屈原的投江日——五月五日，定为了端午节。

每到端午节，我就格外兴奋，因为又能吃到香喷喷的粽子了。妈妈总是根据家人的不同口味，包出不同馅的粽子。妈妈喜欢吃肉粽，爸爸喜欢吃黑米粽，而我则喜欢吃白粽。包完之后，就把它们放入锅中煮一煮，一个个’绿色宝宝’在沸腾的水中翻滚着，像一个个绿色精灵在山间飞舞，把山间点缀的绿意盎然。粽子煮好后捞出，一个活脱脱的‘绿色宝宝”出现在我眼前，厨房里到处都弥漫着粽子的香味。拆开之后，还有一个蜜枣在中间镶嵌着，似乎是想把糯米的光彩全部抢走。

听说，端午节还有带香囊的习俗，于是，在我的软磨硬泡之后，妈妈终于答应给我缝一个，里面塞满了艾叶和香草。我满心欢喜的戴着香囊，时不时还向几个小伙伴炫耀炫耀。

接下来的几天，我们就到处做客，丰盛的饭菜，炫丽的灯光，大人们喝酒时的祝福包围住了我，而我呢?则和哥哥一人拿来一大瓶饮料，痛痛快快地喝了个够。

正月十五元宵节，我就快上学了，新学年的开始，将意味着春节的结束，但在这一天，我们家还是要吃元宵的，过年的气氛丝毫没有减弱，依旧的笑声，依旧的喜庆，依旧的开心。

To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the

West.

The dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar

rather than the Gregorian calendar, so the timing of the holiday varies from

late January to early February.

To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the

lunar New Year‘s Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar

calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally is called the Lantern

Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the

Spring Festival is the most importantand popular festival in China.Before

Spring Festival ,the people usually clean and decorate their houses.And they go

过春节还要包饺子，那饺子馅可好吃了。关于饺子也有一个传说：从前，有一个叫张仲景的人，他在江西当官，有一天，他返回家乡去看望亲人，却发现 他们倒地不起，耳朵冻伤了，当时很冷，也有人被冻死了。张仲景在当地搭建了一间房子，放上一口大锅，用羊肉，辣椒和药品在里面烧，且把面皮包成耳朵形状给村民。村民一直吃到除夕，耳朵不冻了，病也好了。所以，过春节没有饺子是万万不可以的。

那是一个春光明媚的下午，我照例来到英语学校上课。“Hello，Catherine！”一进门，就听见老师热情地对我打招呼，离上课还有十几分钟，老师正在做着课前准备，只见她一会儿低头在卡纸上写着单词，一会儿在黑板画一些迷宫似的格子和一些奇怪的图形，忙得像个团团转的陀螺。“这难道是新改版的飞行棋游戏？还是要玩迷宫？老师今天又准备了什么秘密武器？”此刻，我心里打了无数个问号。

过了一会儿，Summer老师抬起手腕，匆匆瞟了一眼手表说：“上课了。”老师指着黑板上刚画的那些古怪的图形，告诉我们这是她新设计“大富翁”的游戏，她把我们分成两个组进行比赛，哪组回答的问题多，读出的单词多，分就越多，“钱”也越多。第一个要学习的单词是“Italy”(意大利)，老师教我们读时，我就想：“待会老师一定会考我们背单词”，所以我边读边努力地背着，果不其然，读了几遍后，Summer老师就给了我们一个抢背单词的机会，我毫不犹豫地高高举起了手，站起来流利地背出了单词，旗开得胜挣了3分，我们组的同学都露出了胜利的微笑，对方组故意装出不在乎的“面无表情”。我们的比赛很激烈，当我们恰好前进到“监狱”而被暂停一回合时，对方会开怀大笑，像捡了个宝似的；当对方经过我们的地盘而必须留下“买路钱”时，就轮到他们“黯然神伤”了，像打败了的兵似的……

Summer老师上课有时也会“开火车”。当我们前进到“America”(美国)的地盘上时，我们发现美国的版图不像中国是一大块集中在一起，而是有许多小块分布在各个地方，“这到底是怎么回事呢？”“为什么美国的版图上会东一块西一块的呢？”“这真是太奇怪了！”我们在下面窃窃私语，老师为了解答我们的疑惑，开始扯起了美国的地理，然后又扯起了美国的历史、文化，直到她下意识地看了看墙上的时钟，才发现“火车”开得太远了，可她还好像讲得意犹未尽，我们也听得意犹未尽。就这样，在玩玩闹闹中，我们就学会了很多的单词，收获了一些有趣的小知识，最重要的是我们始终努力着并快乐着。

这样的课，我喜欢！要是我们学校的语文数学课也能上得这样活泼有趣该多好呀！

“爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。千门万户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符。”每逢春节时，在天南地北工作的亲人们都汇聚在了一起，家里别提有多热闹了。其中，我最喜欢的节日就是过春节了。那天，我们一起吃团圆饭，一起贴、写对联，一起剪窗花，一起放烟花……

瞧！夜幕降临，正在大学里的姐姐，玩玩具的弟弟妹妹都纷纷赶去奶奶家过新年。没到奶奶家的门口，就听到爷爷的吆喝声：“快来吃团圆饭！快来吃团圆饭！”哇！有我最爱吃的红烧大黄鱼、五辛盘里菜散发着辛味、烤鸭看起来是我的美味佳肴、还有……千年万年的年糕。白年糕黏糊糊的，光看着就能让人流口水。我忍不住先夹了一块，咬了一小口。咦，怎么没味道？我只好把整块夹到嘴里，哇，那滋味美得让人说不出话来。妹妹看到我吃年糕吃得这么有味，也忍不住夹了一块，学着我的样子放进嘴里，咬了咬，“哇！好好吃哦！原来奶奶烧的这么好吃啊！”爷爷也夹了一点鱼：“果然是名不虚传！真是太好了！”“有嘛？有嘛！”奶奶不好意思地笑了笑，“你说的鼻子都变长了！”“哈哈，哈哈！”“呵呵呵！”全家人聚在饭桌前，有滋有味地吃着，夸夸饭菜，说说家常，互相问候，互相祝福，屋子里洋溢着无限的幸福和满足。

春节里不但又好吃的团圆饭，还有好玩的放烟花活动。吃完团圆饭，我和弟弟妹妹们，还有姐姐一起来到广场上放烟花。姐姐拿出了“小金鱼”，拿着“小金鱼”那细细的头，用力往地上一扔，发出了“啪”的响声，还绽放开了小火花，吓得弟弟妹妹们躲到一旁；弟弟拿出了“战斗机”，刚一点燃“战斗机”，战斗就就在地面上飞快地旋转，周围射出光圈，没过一会儿，就飞上了天。“战斗机”像真的战斗机一样在空中飞舞，就像巡逻、保卫者我们的安全；妹妹点燃了“彩色喷泉”，它就像喷泉一样，喷出一束束流星雨来。周围发出一声声赞叹！

各种各样的烟花在空中绽放，真是千姿百态：有的像一条龙在空中游；有的像一只竹蜻蜓飞在上空。我看见这样美丽的烟花，想：我买的新烟花一定比他们漂亮好几倍！我点燃了“大火花”，它直射云霄。过来一会儿，绽开了朵朵大红花。我看着自己放的烟花，别提有多自豪了。

我们跳着，追着，跑着，欢声笑语还回荡在广场上空……
