One of the difficulities to an international resolution to environmental issues is the difference in individual nations view and policies toward environmental protection。 In order for international cooperation to occur and succeed， the nations of the world must submit themselved to international standards and supervision by an international mission elected by the participating nations of the world。 All members must agree to abide by the standards established。

The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the well being of the rest of the world。 The impact is long term and international in scope。 Without international cooperation and agreement to address such environmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole， depletion of the ozone layer， water pollution， air polution， etc。， the environmental conditions of the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation， not just those that ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individual environmental problems。

As part of the same planet， it is the responsibility of each individual and nation to protect the global environment。 Only international cooperation will provide the timely solutions and the effectiveness needed to stop the deteriorating global environment。

我们大家都要保护环境，环境的好坏就是我们人类生活的好坏。人类的地球只有一个，现在好多工厂都不顾人类的安危，往河里排放污水，秦淮河就是这样的一个例子。

还有，大多数工厂的排烟量超标，使城市的空气质量直线下降，烟雾到天上后，便会变成酸雨落下来，好多土地都会被酸雨腐蚀。

洪水、沙尘暴为什么会频繁出现呢？这就是因为人们过多的砍伐树木，使水土留失过多而引起的洪水。据统计中国每年做一次性筷子就消耗木材达到160多万平方米。加上其他制作桌子、椅子、书本等杂七杂八的东西，那会有多少棵参天大树到在人类的手里，那些黑心的老板只顾着转钱，不顾地球的环境好不好。就是他们的这种恶劣的行为使人类的生活环境越来越差，使动物的生活空间越来越小。

要是树木被全砍光了，食草动物饿死了，那食肉动物自然也跟着饿死了，这样，就会使地球上的生物全部灭亡。保护环境从小事做起，从每一个人做起。

Cars and Air Pollution

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

Man and His Environment

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or hydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.

However, mans changes to the physical environment have not always had beneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasing danger to the health of the planet. Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before. As we know, massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence. Indifference to these problems will mean committing suicide. Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve environment. Otherwise,man is certain to suffer from the serious consequences caused by this lack of care for his living surroundings.

昨天，我亲眼看见有位叔叔把一车垃圾倾倒了河里，垃圾里面还有碎玻璃片，还有一包一包装满垃圾的塑料袋，臭烘烘的气味顿时冲击着我的鼻孔，使本来就脏兮兮的河更加破烂不堪了。以前每到夏天，这条河不但是我们玩耍的乐园，鱼儿们可以尽情游来游去，更主要的是这条河还是当地居民饮用水的水源。可现在的河里已经不见鱼儿的踪影，夏季的河里也不见孩子们的欢声笑语的嬉戏热闹的场面了。

当今世界环境污染问题非常严重，由环境污染引起的全球变暖问题一直是近几年受关注的话题，现在的冬天似乎没有几十年前这么寒冷，以前的河结冰了，人在冰面上走是没有问题的，而现在呢，虽然河也会结冰，但却是一层薄薄的冰，轻轻一踩都会碎裂，几十年前在冬天冬雪可谓是很常见的，而现在呢，冬雪少之又少，一个冬天能下一两场雪就不错了，一般也就下雨夹雪，地面根本积不起来，要是那一天下大雪了却被人们称为雪灾，是的，不下雪的冬天算什么冬天？冬天不下雪，孩子们就没有了打雪仗、对雪人的欢乐，也没有了那美丽的雪景，全球变暖，南北两极的冰川也在逐渐融化，照此发展下去，南北两极的动物在不远的将来就可能会五家可归，甚至很有可能灭绝，让我们行动起来，为地球退烧而努力吧，作为我们，平时可以建议家长出门少开汽车，多骑自行车，这样，既保护了环境也锻炼了身体，另外，我们要做到不乱扔垃圾，不随地吐痰，多植树造林等等……如果全球人民这样做的话，相信在不久的将来，地球退烧是没问题的。

我想大家都看过《金湖美》吧。可你知道吗？那么美的金湖曾经是一个臭水潭！这得从金湖的由来讲起了。

１９５４年８月１０日夜，个旧市区遭受到一场特大暴雨的袭击，市区周围２０多平方公里范围内也普降特大暴雨，大量洪水从山沟顺流而下，全部汇集到市区９平方公里的洼地处，洼地水面在一夜之间上升了0.8米。随后，又连续降雨，多时每天降雨量达0.0742米，洼地水面不断扩大，水位继续上涨，加上市区东面老阴山山脚的“落水洞”不仅不能正常落水，反而冒水，最大出水量为每秒５．７３立方米。１９５４年８月几次暴雨之后，落水洞又大量出水，致使原云南锡业公司机关、机厂、炼厂，原个旧市砖瓦厂、砖瓦窑、铁工厂、农民服务站等全部被淹，洪灾一共造成民房被淹９５６间、６５９户，２８１０人受灾，田地被淹２２８亩８分。

然而灾害都不是完全无益的，这次灾后在市中心形成了一个面积约为0.8平方公里的水潭，这使历史上缺水的矿区人们看到了希望，于是人们决定治理它利用它，便把这潭水留了下来，作为矿区的主要生产用水供水源头，但是人们用水不加节制，各类污水不加处理直接排入湖内，导致了金湖湖底连年升高，蓄水量连年减少，最终金湖变成了一个臭水潭。在水面上漂着许多动物的尸体和各类生活垃圾，人走在湖边臭气熏天，人们常常掩鼻而过，金湖真正的变成了臭水潭。但是人们并没有停止对已经变成臭水潭的金湖的污染。

曾几何时，“明月松间照，清泉石上流”的诗句常在耳边回响；曾几何时，“一粥一饭，当思来之不易，一丝一缕，恒念物力维艰”的古训仍在心头萦绕；曾几何时，伟大诗人乔治。铂金斯里掷地有声的一句话“樵夫，别砍那棵树”指引着几代人参与环保、美化地球环境；曾几何时，人们乱砍乱伐，使大自然的生态平衡遭到了破坏，沙丘吞噬了万顷良田，洪水毁了美丽可爱的家园。大自然的报复使人类尴尬哑然。没有自然，便没有人类，这是世界一大朴素的道理。“一味地掠夺自然、征服自然，只会破坏生态系统，咎由自取，使人类濒于困境。”这句话说得没错，人不给自然面子，自然当然也不会给人类后路，98洪水，2000年的沙尘暴，512汶川大地震，414玉树大地震……其实，这是大自然对人类发出的警示。曾几何时，人们乱捕乱杀，使人类的朋友惨遭涂炭，“千山鸟飞绝，万径人踪灭”这是对捕杀动物后的最真实的写照。人类现在正面临着严峻的考验“保护地球环境”，每个人都在思考这个问题，有人问“我能做什么？”答案很简单，那就是从我做起，从小事做起，从身边的一点一滴做起。

仔细回顾一下从身边流走的每滴水，在洗碗、洗脸刷牙、洗发、洗澡、冲洗厕所等的时候，可曾想过节约每滴水？在使用电灯、电脑、空调、饮水机等的时候，可曾想过做到环保？——低碳生活是一种非常环保、文明的生活方式，节水、节电、节油、节气等可以帮助我们将低碳生活变为现实。

现在的汽车是作为文明与前进的象征，已经成为人们日常生活中不可缺少的一个重要组成部分，但频繁的堵车，浑浊的尾气使人们在安享汽车带来便捷的同时，更多的是要去考虑汽车给人们带来的污染而产生的严重影响。现在人们不仅是汽车的领有者以及驾驶者，还是制造污染的控制者，所以在开车的时候要避免突然变速，选择合适档位，避免低档跑高速，定期更换机油，轮胎气压要适当和少开车内空调，尽量减少汽车对自然的污染。

夏天，我们在家用空调的时候，不要长时间开着，用一两个小时后就关掉，再开电风扇，这样就可以节省50%的电；在冰箱内放食物时，食物的量以占容积的80%为宜，用塑料盒盛水制冰后放入冷藏室，这样就能延长停机时间、减少开机时间，更节电；用微波炉加工食品的时候，最好在食品上加层无毒塑料或盖上盖子，这样被加工的食品水分就不易被蒸发，食品的味道更美味并且更节电……平时我们勤动手动脑也可以实现“低碳”。一般家庭都有很多废弃的盒子，如肥皂盒、牙膏盒、牛奶盒等，其实将这些废弃的盒子稍加裁剪，就可以轻松将它们废物利用。比如：制作储物盒，可以在里面放置茶叶包或化妆品之类的物品；还可以利用方便面盒、罐头瓶、酸奶盒等制作一盏漂亮的台灯，喝过的茶叶渣，晒干後还可以做成一个茶叶枕头，既舒适还能改善睡眠；普通灯泡换成节能灯，尽量步行、骑自行车或乘公交车出行，随手拔下插头……这些看似不经意的小事都是在为“减碳”做贡献。

我们应该从节水、节电、节油、节气等这些小事做起。

森林是绿的，大地是绿的，天空是绿的，小草是绿的，荷叶是绿的……世界万物都散发出“绿”的气息，而低碳生活就是我们要建立的绿生活，只要我们去行动，就可以接近低碳生活，达到低碳生活的标准。

我们的地球需要我们共同来爱护，让我们从身边的小事做起，珍惜资源，减少污染，让我们建立绿生活，让生活更美好。

济南市环境保护委员会的叔叔阿姨们：

您们好！

暑假期间，我跟随父母去大明湖游玩，所见所闻一直印在了我的脑海里。美丽的大明湖中，荷花盛开，千姿百态，真不愧是“四面荷花三面柳，一城山色半城湖”呀！我陶醉了！但这时，猛然看见一位游客将一块糖果的包装纸扔到了湖水中，而不远处就是垃圾箱；甚至还有几位游客随手将荷叶和荷花摘去。虽然有管理人员劝说，可是他们还是满不在乎。荷叶根部漂浮的垃圾，靠近岸边的被摘去的荷花、荷叶深深地刺痛了我的心。因此，我想提出几点建议：

一、可以开展一些文艺活动，通过演出的形式来教育那些不爱护环境的游客；

二、与游客做一些小游戏，如环保知识问答等，并给予小奖品，让人们认识到环保的重要性；

三、组织志愿者每周打扫大明湖的环境卫生；

四、开展“我爱大明湖”摄影比赛与征文比赛，唤起人们对大明湖的热爱；

五、号召小学生组成义务宣传队，通过宣传为泉城尽自己的一份力量；

六、设计一个“曝光台”，曝光有些人的不文明行为。

亲爱的叔叔阿姨们，泉城是我们的家，大明湖是我们泉城人的骄傲。让我们行动起来，保护我们的家园，爱护令我们骄傲的大明湖，好吗？

垃圾是随处可见的，当你走在路上，一块纸片从你的眼前飘过，你是愤怒的还是……当你看到有人倒污水时，你是不是已经想到水源被污染的画面？当你看到这些画面，你会不会有所行动？是垃圾带走了我们地球美丽的面貌，是垃圾把我们的新鲜空气污染，是垃圾污染了我们的生命之源——水，是垃圾的爆炸生生夺走了我们的生命，是垃圾的面积过多让我们没有地方生存，是垃圾让我们染上疾病，可见垃圾的危害有多大。

为了让我们的环境更加干净，我提出以下这些建议：

1、可以做广告牌，告诉人们保护环境的重要性，可以把倡议书做成报纸和书籍等。

2、可以让小伙伴们组织成环保小队，主动捡拾垃圾。

3、不用一次性筷子、纸杯、袋子等用品，也可以在超市门口分发布袋。

4、在网上、微博、QQ、微信上发广告，呼吁人们行动起来，保护环境。

5、节约纸张，就是保护森林，为了让我们的地球更加富有生机，呼吁人们节约用纸。

我希望人们都可以行动起来，让地球变成零垃圾的星球。
