清明，是农历二十四节气之一。中国传统的清明节大约始于周代，距今已有二千五百多年的历史。清明一到，气温升高，雨量增多，正是春耕春种的大好时节。故有“清明前后，点瓜种豆”、“植树造林，莫过清明”的农谚。可见这个节气与农业生产有着密切的关系。清明节是一个祭祀祖先的节日，主要是扫墓，扫墓是慎终追远、敦亲睦族及行孝的具体表现。清明节是在仲春与暮春之交，也就是冬至后的106天。2006年5月20日，该民俗节日经国务院批准列入第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。

清明节是我国传统节日，也是最重要的祭祀节日，是祭祖和扫墓的日子。清明扫墓，谓之对祖先的“思时之敬”。其习俗由来已久。在清明节，还有踏青、插柳、放风筝等习俗。

前几天，爸爸去给爷爷奶奶扫墓。看到墓地的景象，真是令人感到惊叹!随处可见一堆堆烧过的纸的废墟，空中飘着烧过的灰，味道还很呛鼻子。我觉得这种烧纸的行为是不对的，不仅浪费了资源，还污染了环境。我们应该停止这种行为，大家可以给死去的人送上一束鲜花，表示我们真诚的哀思。这才是最文明、最正确的行为。

My name is Li Hua. I was born in Dalian, Liaoning province in February 1977. I started school in 1984 when I was seven,and I studied in Guangming Primary School from 1984 to 1990. After that I went to No.6 Middle School of Dalian and graduated this summer. The main subjects ! studied at school included Chinese, Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry and Computer. I like English and Computer best and I am very good at them. Last year I won first prize in the school computer competition. In my spare time I enjoy listening to popular music and collecting stamps. My favourite sports are swimming in summer and skating in winter.

Trees are very useful to people. They provide us with wood and other

products. They give us shade and they help to prevent drought and floods.

Unfortunately， in many parts of our country， people havent realized the

importance of trees. They cut them down at will. They are usually too lazy or

too careless to plant and look after new trees. As a result， the forests

continue to disappear.

Where there are no trees the rain falls on the surface， causing floods， and

carries away with the rich topsoil， in which crops grow so well. When all the

topsoil is gone， nothing remains but worthless deserted.

The big floods of 1998， in parts of China， have already taught us a good

lesson. So every one of us must love trees， protect forests， and keep on

planting trees each year.

As we all known，food safety problems are more and more popular in our

country，because more cases about food safety problem have appeared.

Firstly，As the old saying goes，the food is what matters to the people。 Food

plays an important role in peoples life。So food safety influences peoples

health and life。Secondly，some producers only think about earning money without

thinking about ensuring food safty。they produce unqualified food.Thirdly， some

food supervisory departpents dont perform their duty pletely。This behavior make

some producer ignore the safety of production.

If we want to solve problems that is illustrated former，we must call on the

supervisory department to manage the food market.And the producers must paly

their roles。 Lastly， we hope that there is law that punish illegal acts.

I’m LiHua, president of the Student Union. I’m writing to invite you to our Dragon Boat Festival celebration, which is to be held in the Lecture Hall at 14:00 next Monday.

The Duanwu or Dragon Boat Festival, generally celebrated on the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calender, falls on June 18 this year. 今天是3/31，周五，下周三4/5也就是中国传统的清明节了。今年学校发展了以宏扬传统文明为主题的系列运动，借此机遇，为我们这群崇洋的孩子好好补上“中国特点传统节日”的这一课。

清明节是独一一个既是二十四节气有是节日的日子，清明节之前一天有一个寒食节，清明节又谓踏青节……这些底本听起来很遥远的常识，对于现在的我们来说都是“小菜一叠”了，不是由于形式化的灌注，也不是因为加入什么竞赛，只是当时的我们都很居心的听，很专心的追忆一些被封闭在记忆深处的货色。或者并不单纯的只是为了思念已故的亲人，对他们最好的纪念就是更好的生涯，更好的享受天天的时间吧!

咱们都懂得了，本来，例如“清明”一样的中国传统节日有其渊源的历史，它的意义毫不仅仅只在于为情势性地扫已故亲人的墓碑。更多的是在这个有留念意义的一天，寄托本人对他们的无穷怀念。

清明节仍是我公民间重要的传统节日,是主要的“八节”(上元、清明、破夏、端午、中元、中秋、冬至跟大年节)之一。个别是在公历的四月五号,但其节期很长,有十日前八日后及十日前旬日后两种说法,这近二十天内均属清明节。清明节的来源,据传始于古代帝王将相“墓祭”之礼,后来民间亦相仿效,于此日祭祖扫墓,历代因循而成为中华民族一种固定的风气。要谈清明节，须从古代一个十分著名的，当初已失传的节日――寒食节说起。寒食节，又称熟食节、禁烟节，冷节。它的日期，是距冬至一百零五日，也就是距清明不外一天或两天。这个节日的重要节俗就是禁火，不许生火煮食，只能吃备好的熟食、冷食，故而得名。

festival, because they think people are superstitious. As for me, I think this

day teaches people to in honor of their ancestors and respect the culture. It is

not something about superstition, but about showing respect to the culture. We

need to pass on our culture from generations, or we will lose our national
