Aimed at providing a platform where students can have a chance to exchange and make use of their books, the annual campus book fair will soon be held in our school. The fair will attract a huge crowd from the entire school, who are to sell, purchase and exchange their second-hand books with their peers.

As a regular visitor, I’ve found myself increasingly attracted by the fair. For one thing, the fair exhibits books of hundreds of types on diverse topics, motivating us to further develop our reading habits and help to broaden our horizons. For another, most books are sold at a lower price than what the bookstores offer.

I went to an English Summer Camp this summer vacation. Its really a good chance to improve my English. I ate lived learnt and played with my foreign teachers and my classmates for about three weeks. 7月11号我去了小桔灯组织的夏令营，分别去了北京、承德和坝上草原。

我们早上6点坐动车(D134)就出发了，一路上我们大家都很兴奋。不知不觉就到了北京，我们只在科技馆走马观花了一遍，就急忙做大巴连夜赶到了承德，当时已经晚上10点多了，大部分同学都睡着了，我也不例外，没睡着的都饿着呢。当老师发令：“吃饭了!”全车的小朋友都睁开睡意朦胧的双眼扑腾扑腾都下车了，“排队!”老师再次发令，谁知一个人影都没有——都吃饭去了，只有我还在做梦，等吃到一半队长才想到还有一个人没来，一查名单才知道是我，他们费了九牛二虎之力才把我“拖”到餐厅，他们往我脸上滴水，捏着我的鼻子，才把我叫醒。这是老师告诉我的，不然我睡着时的事情怎么知道呢?

第二天，我们去了坝上草原和百花坡，那的云和这儿非常不一样，简直是天壤之别，在那感觉马上就能摸到一样，雪白雪白的云趁得天空湛蓝湛蓝的，地上的草软软的，真想躺下来望着美丽的天空，草原太辽阔了，真想在这草原上狂奔，释放一下自由。在这草原上还有一种罂粟花是毒品，鸦片就是用它做的，恩~不说了太可怕了，自从老师说过后大家都不敢动了。

在百花坡的时候我们使劲的往上冲，我喊“一二”大家“冲!”我们争先恐后的跑到上面，老师说这里是月亮湖，“啊!真美!”老师给我们照相，大家疯狂跑着，有一个小胖孩下定决心要减肥，就跑下山，跑上山，来回跑了好几次，我们在湖边感受沼泽地的感觉，踩上去脚就往下陷，一踩就出水，老师提醒我们不要往深处走，会把我们陷进去的，吓得我们都不敢往前走了。

到了晚上我们住在小木屋里，我住在两个人的房间里，一动还有种晃悠悠的感觉，感觉真不一样。

第三天，我们依然在这美丽的草原上，老师安排了很多活动，尤其是寻宝活动，大家带着探索的精神去认真的寻找，找到了还有奖品，不过我一个都没找到，有些失望。最让我们兴奋的是晚上，老师拢起来一堆篝火，并且要吃烤全羊，红红的火苗冲得很高很高，我们在旁边蹦啊跳啊，就是不敢靠近，老师也不让，我真是想靠近摸一摸那火苗，不过我可不想成为烤全羊。“吃肉了!”烤全羊师傅把羊肉烤好了，我们都跑过去排队等着师傅分肉。大家吃得满手满脸都是油，都说这羊肉真鲜呢!

第4天就没什么更好玩的了，只参观了一座寺庙，就急忙去承德了，到承德已经晚上了，第5天我们依依不舍的从北京离开，踏上了回家的路。

几天的游玩让我们长了不少的见识，也体会到了不同的风景，祖国的辽阔。同时我们也结实了很多新朋友，一路上大家彼此照顾彼此关心，这次夏令营活动真是太有意义了!

When the bell rang, the students stepped out of the classroom and went to the playground to take part in their favorite activities. The campus is boiling up immediately.

On the west side of the campus, there are four basketball frames. The basket sitting next to some of the students, from time to time came the cheers and laughter. Look, how hard the basketball players are! A decision win, but often play a long time end neither in victory nor defeat.

The basket around the East, some of my classmates. They are skipping rope. One of the students just stopped, and another student picked up him and went on.

The football students play the most. On both sides of the ball, the students worked closely to keep the other team from getting the ball. The ball flew over the air. One of the students came to the air and kicked the ball into the other teams goal. "Oh! We won. " The winning player cheered.

Our extracurricular activities are really colorful. Some jump rubber band, some shuttlecock, some running. The most interesting is the children of the kindergarten.  Under the guidance of Big Brother Big Sister, they are playing the game of catching chicken with the eagle!

campus activities have been organized in many universities and colleges. these activities range from academic to recreational, such as academic reports, social consulting services, speech contests, poet’s club, painting clubs, singing and dancing groups, etc.

2019年弘爱夏令营于7月29日揭幕，8月5日闭幕。在这8天中我结识了新朋友，旧友仍在，我们相处十分融洽。我们性格各异，“形态”各异，但我们对幸福的渴望，对亲人的盼望却是相同的。我们很快就玩到了一起。

7月9日，我和我的朋友们一起去参加了五天的夏令营。在铜梁的巴岳山，夏令营的活动主题是：绝境求生。在去巴岳山的路上，大家讲了很多笑话，我也讲了一个笑话。我讲完了笑话，就回到自己的座位上睡起大觉来。但是，意想不到的事还等着我们的……

我们到达了训练基地。我们发现基地居然是沙漠!我打量着我们的教室，房顶是干草铺成的，墙面、地板等都是木头做的，偶而出现一扇窗户，房子前面空坝子，还有一面旗子。我们在这里训练、上课……这是我们的1号教室。

2号教室在野外，除了多了一间房间和一个入口外，其它都跟1号教室一样。我们在这个教室里剧本、选队长。

我们的寝室也是木头房子，悬在空中的木头房子(妈妈解释：就是重庆特有的吊脚楼。因为山上很潮湿，房子是用木头从下面架起的来的。我开始一直没有弄明白，才子还给我画了图，最后是问的教练才搞清楚。)只要走在松动的木头上，那木头就会吱吱响，仿佛人会掉下去一样，很吓人的。房子里有两个人的上下铺，还有几个盆子和柜子、桌子。因为一直下雨，我们只睡了一天的帐篷，真是遗憾呀!

期末考试题目是：顺着一根铁杆子，爬上12米的高台。我不停的努力，终于考过了。(妈妈透露：据教练说：才子刚开始很怕，不敢上去。教练只好给同学们说才子好有风度哦，有谦让的美德。弄得才子自己都不好意思了，终于还是上去了。)

这次夏令营让我的胆量更大了，我知道了什么叫“坚持”，什么叫“勇敢”。(妈妈的话：可能都指的是上12米高台的事吧)

第五天，我们探宝回来，我还编了一首诗： 走弯又走弯，走来又走去。如问何宝贝，就是坚持终。

王振冰河勇救五人获评“中国好人”

2015年5月29日，中央文明办在山东省日照市举办“中国好人榜”5月入选名单发布仪式，我市的王振被评为“见义勇为”中国好人。

王振家住濉溪县刘桥镇陈集村，是一位90后小伙。2015年2月23日，农历正月初五，他从亲戚家拜年归来，途经刘桥镇丁楼村丁楼沟东岸的恒源路，看到有辆电动车从对面驶来。正当他专心驾驶时，爱人突然大呼一声，“电动车掉沟里了。”王振一个急刹拉开车门，一边让妻子报警求救，一边快速跑向事发地点。

事发时，5名落水人员正在4米多深的水沟里奋力挣扎。危急关头，王振立即将厚厚的衣服甩掉，穿着短裤跳入冰冷的水中。刺骨的冰水冻得王振浑身发抖，但他依然咬紧牙关，不顾一切向落水人员游去。

先将离岸边最近的拉上来，再继续游到水里救援其他人。就这样，王振使出全身力气，将身着衣物被水浸泡后异常沉重的5名落水人员全部安全救出。不多时，辖区派出所民警赶到现场，将获救人员送回家中。精疲力竭的王振休息了片刻，没有留下姓名和联系方式，就和妻子一起悄悄离开了现场。

获救人员为一家5口，家住刘桥镇丁楼村。事后，他们经过多方打听，终于得知靠着惊人的体力和毅力，徒手创造生命奇迹的小伙子是王振。为了表示感谢，他们专程跑到濉溪县城定制了锦旗，第一时间送到王振家中。

This August I went to a two-week long English camp which was held by English Beacon in Yantai city Shandong Province. There were over a hundred middle school students from all over the country and thirty experts in English teaching participating in this exciting camp.

While we were there it was required that we speak only English to our teachers and with each other. There were many activities which were funny and helped us to strengthen our oral English skills such as the Second Annual National Debate for Middle School Studentsthe Third National English Speech Competition for Middle School Students and English parties. We also visited many places of interest. Learning English was exciting and the teachers were very friendly and helpful. This camp was a real life-changing experience that I will never forget.

夏天到了，炎热的空气不免让我们感觉到热，这个暑假，我妈妈这个暑假就给我报了一个夏令营，到上海去看世博会的夏令营，我们先做火车，在火车上我有点饿了就去买盒饭，你猜盒饭多少钱，我看了价目表吓到我直达罗嗦一碗米20元一瓶矿泉水8元，总知没有便宜的下了火车映入眼帘的就是一个繁华的大城市我和我的同伴好奇的看眼前的情景——高大的楼房，还有欢笑的人群，大街小巷都是五彩缤纷的霓虹灯，直到我们看的眼花缭乱，我们才肯走，到了宾馆两人一个房间 我看电视看到9：00才睡.......

第二天我们要去欢乐谷，不是真的峡谷，是一个游乐场，我们先买票，我们先玩的是一个丛林飞鼠四人做一个的那种开始的时候走的很慢，有的人忍不住大吼：“这是什么丛林飞书啊，这简直是丛林爬鼠。”听了这句话我们情不自禁的大笑起来，谁知就在我们笑的合不拢嘴的时候，速度突然加快，刚才那个大吼的人吓的忙叫道：“飞鼠大爷对不起，我错了，速度慢点吧!”我也感到紧张，吓地我六神无主，魂不附体，那个人下来的时候第一件事就是呕吐，吐地是满地都是，这是后话，不表。

第三天我们去的是杜拉夫人蜡像馆，刚到那里就有一股逼真的蜡像真人一样向你走了过来，我看看前边那个“人”问到：“请问姚明蜡像在那里。”那“人”一动不动我向前一看，是一座蜡像，汗。真的太逼真了。

第四天我们就要到目的地了——世博园。世博园的人可以堪称人山人海啊!真是脚尖对脚尖，肩膀碰肩膀。怪不得电视上都说世博人流量是最多的。我好不容易进去了，我们第一个先去的是中国馆人很多我们排了5小时的队才进去，里边很凉快，不像外边一样炎热，里边有中国的悠久的历史还有中国现代的高科技，看的我目不暇接，出来的时候，我感觉到知识增长了很多。

第五天，该是我们向上海告别的日子了，我们依依不舍的离开了繁华的上海市。

这次夏令营让我感觉到了上海的繁华和中国的繁荣昌盛。这次夏令营对我留下了深刻的映象。

Human Activity and the Earth

There is no doubt that human activity has an effect on the planet. We see the evidence of mankind’s endeavors all around us. While some of man’s accomplishments, such as the building of transportation systems and the consistent supply of potable water, have made Earth a better place for people to live, they have not come without cost. Overall, it seems that human activity harms the Earth more than it benefits it.

For example, the transportation systems that benefit mankind also create pollution and use up valuable energy resources. While we cannot do without transportation these days, we cannot ignore the fact that it has an adverse effect on the planet. Furthermore, those advances that benefit people do not benefit al the life on Earth. Deforestation endangers many animals, and mankind’s great thirst for water and other resources leads to the extinction of many plant forms. In addition, accomplishments such as the supply of potable water to a community are only response to problems that mankind created in the past. It was man that made the water unfit to drink in the first place. Finally, the damage that human activity causes will eventually have a negative effect on people. They will also suffer the effects of pollution and diminishing natural resources.

In conclusion, it seems apparent that man’s activity benefits primarily himself, not the Earth. Moreover, those benefits are only short-term advantages, and man will also suffer the negative effects of his activity in the future. The Earth does not have an inexhaustible supply of resources, so every effort should be made to conserve resources and limit the impact of human activity on the planet.

Today is Arbor Day, lili came to a sunny and beautiful place. She took the bucket and the spade, and first planted the tree in a green meadow, then watered it, and then pulled the weeds. After the tree was planted, lili came to pull weeds and water every morning. Some days later, lily came to the pleasant place. She saw that the saplings had grown up. The birds are singing happily, the butterflies are dancing in the trees, the flowers and grass nod happily.
