It is known to all that today the environment has been badly polluted. Though many action have

been taken to protect our environment, it still has a long way to go. Two years ago, I went to middle school, and the first moment I saw the environment, I found that trees were very small, and many workers were busy planting trees. Now, when I looked around our school, the trees were taller than people and they grew so fast. People always talk about planting trees but less of them can take action. I heard that Lijiang was a very beautiful city when I was young. I travelled there in a holidy with my parents.I went there by plane. I saw there were many moutains when I got out the plane. The air was fresh.We went to the Lijiang Gucheng the fist day, and we bought some interesting things and had a good meal in the Lijiang Gucheng. On the second day ,we went to the Yulong snowy moutain, it was beautiful, and it was my first time I had seen the snow. I played with the snow happily. Spring is coming. It is the season for planting trees. On Sunday, our

teacher led us to the suburb to plant trees. We brought some spades, pails and

saplings with us. On arriving there, everybody went into action in no time. We

dug square pits first. Then two persons were needed to plant a tree. One held

the sapling carefully and the other put the soil in. I wish the saplings would

grow up quickly.
