弘一大师在圆寂前告诫他的弟子，要他们在火化自己之时在棺材下的四角各垫一个盛满水的小碗碟，为的是不让蚂蚁在爬上自己的尸体时被一齐烧死，以免伤害了无辜的生命。在我看来，他确实已经达到了很高的境界，因为他读懂了生命的深刻蕴意，明白了生命诞生的难能可贵；他敬重生命，乃至一只极不起眼的小小的蚂蚁的生命。透过朦胧，体会万物间的那一片真情。

我曾经在一本书上看到过这样一篇感人的文章，令我感触颇深。其中写了一名劫犯在抢劫银行时，警方随即赶到。慌乱中，劫犯劫持了一名妇女来做人质，双方僵持了许久。突然那位妇女发出了痛苦的呻吟，劫犯这才发现自己劫持的人质竟然是一名孕妇，因为过度惊吓而即将面临早产，劫犯思考片刻后，依然举起手来投降围观的人群中居然响起了一片掌声。就当警察将拷走劫犯，同时将孕妇送往医院时，孕妇已即将分娩，情况极其危险。这时劫犯大声说：“我是医生，让我来吧”为了保证母子这两条生命，他竟打开了劫犯手上的手铐。此时的劫犯，不，此时这一个敬重生命的医生，不顾一切地投入到抢救工作当中……当一阵洪亮的啼哭声划过耳际，划过了城市上空，围观的群众再一次响起热烈的掌声。

当时，我被劫犯在面临这道艰难的选择题，依然选择后者而感动。这，无疑是一场道德、良心与罪恶、金钱的角逐：一边是漫长无边的牢狱之灾，而另一边却是一个即将诞生的生命。如果我自己是那个劫犯，或许会对那牢狱望而却步，因为在那儿，暗淡无光，浪费青春。但另一方面，活泼可爱，孕育着生机，孕育着希望，或许自己在亲人欢呼与贺喜中诞生时候的情景又闪烁在我的脑海之中，或许，我不得不被这个生命而征服。因为生命，那是崭新、光明、希望、美好的象征。它，能唤起大家对内心的善良、幸福的渴求，这伟大的折服，能让最黑暗的心灵被阳光照亮，能让最堕落的灵魂得到救赎，那就是生命！它唤醒了罪犯尚未完全泯灭的人性，使他恢复了立志；是生命，感化了凶残的罪犯。也是这个新的生命战胜了邪恶。

生命，古往今来一直为大家所赞颂。生命，一个通向人内心最深处的代名词，它使人敬重，敬重的时间不会是一时，是一生，是永远……

“生命是短暂短的夏天一人犹如花朵”。生命是我们很熟悉的生命很短暂，我们应该学会尊重地生命。

生命就像一块平坦而空阔的草地，如果在上面插上一朵花，会让空阔的草地更加完美更加美丽。就算一个小小的生物它也懂如何尊重生命，比如说，一只微乎其微的蜜蜂被人类打掉在地上，虽然这蜜蜂没有力了，但它拼命地挣扎，想要飞起来。经过一段时间挣扎，它飞起来，人类会大吃一惊，人类再次把它打在地上，但蜜蜂一如摡往，挣扎了一段时间，又再次飞起。一个如此小的生命都有如此顽强地生命。人类怎能因为一件小事而结束自己的生命呢?为什么自杀事件常常发生?有生命，说明老天给了你一个光明的世界，为何有人把它想得如此糟糕?不珍惜自己宝贵的生命。在街上，你经常会为了下几步路而跨过栏杆跑到马路对面，可能会因为省下的几步路而断送了你宝贵的生命，谁也不希望这样，谁都希望成为一个生命的强者。相对之下，有些人为社会奉献为人民付出。如街上的清洁工，他们有的身体还有些残疾，但他们日夜操劳，风雨无阻，为的就是给人们一条干干净净的大街，他们的生命是如此精彩，为何有些人不能像他们一样?我们不能被身体的残疾压倒。尊重生命 ，不是简单的四个字，我们要去做，要善待每一个人，在短暂的生命里做更有意义的事。

清明节了，这是一个慎终追远的节日。但是清明是一个多好听的名字啊，它清亮，它明朗，我们心中的那种怀念，我希望它不是沉重的，而是悠扬的，因为我们有感恩。

我说感恩生命，其实是因为在这个节日里，我想得最多的人是我的父亲。刚才我在上台前，就被马未都教师给招哭了，但是他在说父亲，我的眼泪已经下来了。我当时在想，他说父亲我也要说父亲，我会害怕跟他重复吗?不会。因为一个男人的眼中，父亲如山，父亲是他的楷模，是他的榜样，是他作为男子汉的一种信念。但是在一个女儿的眼中，可以说一个女人，她对世界对男人对爱，很多最初的信念来自父亲，对女人来讲，她是否信任爱情，信任婚姻，信任人性，往往没有迟到从她的初恋开始，而是从她的父亲开始，因为这是她生命成长中第一个认识的男人，这个人负责任吗?这个人会有一种温柔之爱吗?马老师刚才说跟父亲之间没有太多的大事，但在一个女儿的眼中，我觉得更锁细，但是有点不同的是，我要说在感恩之前，我先要说一个父亲，在一个任性的、娇惯的女儿的成长里，他先要忍受多少误读，我误读了我父亲很多年，甚至直到他辞世。我小时候对父亲是什么感觉呢?他严厉，因为小的时候最先让我背诗词的人是他，教我古文的人是他，最早我接触《论语》、《庄子》也是因为他，后来直到我上了大学，我读的是中文系，我上了研究生读的是古典文学。父亲会给我改论文，他改论文的时候我心里很烦，因为他不是在给你改这些文辞的意思而已，他还会说你哪个字倒插笔了，我当时觉得他很迂阔，按他这种改法，每个标点符号要改，哪个字间架结构不好，他要给你写一个，哪个字看出倒插笔了，他会给你重新写出一个笔画来，这多烦哪!我从来没想过他烦不烦，我所有的论文都是他这样改过的，但他给我的印象还是严厉。

我父亲走后，我妈妈给我讲了一件事。她说你爸在的时候，一直不让告诉你，她说了一件我记得的事情，就是我爸爸的60岁生日，是北京天寒地冻的时候。我那天中午呢出门去给他买了一个大奶油蛋糕，我从学校拎回家，我说：爸我下午上课去了，等我回来以后，晚上咱们过生日吃蛋糕。我爸瞥了一眼，说：嗨!这都是你们小孩吃的东西，我不爱吃这个。我就走了。当然下了课回来呢，看爸爸还是挺高兴的，然后大家吃饭，我给我爸爸做的贺卡，然后大家一起呢把蛋糕切了，吃完了，我看他也吃，也挺高兴，就过去了。二十年之后，我父亲去世了以后，我妈妈告诉我了这个故事的另一个版本。她说那天下午你走了以后呢，家里来了一个我们世交家的儿子，我爸爸就跟他说，他说：涛涛，这是你小丹姐姐刚给大伯伯买的，我又不吃这奶油的东西，你拿走吃了吧!大概到下午快4点了，我妈说我爸就开始像一个犯了错的孩子一样，在屋里面转圈，我妈说：你干吗呢?他就小声地说：我犯错了，那是丫头给我买的，我吃不吃我也不能给人!你快帮我想那蛋糕盒子到底是什么颜色的，那个蛋糕上好像有字，写的是什么?你能想起多少，咱们俩往一块碰，我一定得买一个让孩子看不出来的蛋糕。后来我妈说，在我下午放学前一刻钟，我爸呼哧带喘地拎着蛋糕回来了放在桌上。我回家的时候毫无查觉。所以我们晚上呢，还是过了一个挺好的生日。这个故事，我很多年以后才知道。后来我才想起来，这就是我父亲，一个一直被他钟爱的女儿误读的父亲。从小长大，我爸爸给我立了多少规矩，我记住的往往是他的严厉，但是忽略了他生命中的那种温柔，所以其实走到清明这一天，我想起《论语》上的一句话，古训说父母之年，不可不知也，一则以喜一则以惧。我们爹妈的年纪真得记在心里，想起来一方面当然高兴，如果大家高堂犹在的话。可是另外一种心情，是一则以惧，我们到底还有多少时间可以去尽孝呢?我想说有女儿的父亲很幸福，女儿贴心女儿撒娇女儿依恋，可是女儿在青春期的时候，在她反叛的时候，在她不想吃那么苦去立大业的时候，在她恋爱的时候，她一定都曾经违背过父亲的意愿。所以父亲们，请一定要等到女儿们长大，一定要等着我们。所以我想说今天如果在座的有父亲的女儿，那就让我们趁着父亲还在的时候早一天去懂得他。如果有女儿们的父亲，请你们一定要等待着女儿。

所以其实成长是一件很有意思的事情，过去说不养儿不知父母恩，我生命中很大的遗憾就是我的父亲没来得及看见我的孩子。我自己有孩子以后我才知道，我那个时候对父亲很不屑，因为他颤颤巍巍拄着拐杖走在街上，总去逗别人怀里的孩子，我总觉得很烦，我老拉着他快点走，我说你别去打搅人家，他就张着嘴呵呵地拉着人家孩子的小手不放。我真的觉得很遗憾，他没有看见我的孩子。所以我说清明这个节日，我希望在这一天更懂得我的父亲。

刚才在后台的时候，编导跟我说每个人可以选一束花来给你自己缅怀的人，我毫不犹豫地拿了这束花，这束花里面有松柏有红鹤，这是矛盾的，这就是我父亲，外人看他是松柏，我一直把他当成松柏一样的榜样，但是另一方面，我父亲就是鲜艳的红鹤，他的内心一直有火一样的温柔，有他的爱，有他那种克制的柔情。我拿起这束花，我觉得这两种矛盾的特质，是我完整的父亲。怀念父亲怀念自己的根，所以我要说，在清明这一天感恩生命。我们感恩父母，感恩世界，感恩这片土地，感恩我们相遇的每一个人，让这种感恩去多理解我们的父亲，理解今天还来得及懂得的人，理解我们自己的心，理解未来。

As you slowly open your eyes, look around , notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness in the air. Yes, yes, yes, it’s a new day, it’s a different day, and it’s a bright day! And most importantly, it is a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new desicisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented level! You know all this is real as long as you are confident,passionate and committed! And you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!

You will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways,approaching new people, and asking new questions. You will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take. You will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. You will never succumb to challenges of hardships. You will never waver in your pursuit of excellence. After all,you are the best, and you deserve the best!

As your coach and friend, I can assure you the door to all the best things in the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your hand. You must do your part, you must faithfully follow the plans you make and take the actions you plan, you must never quit, you must never fear. I know you must do it, you can do it, you will do it, and you will succeed!

Now stand firm and tall, make a fist, get excited, and yell it out: I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed! I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed! I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed!

Money and the Meaning of Life Recently,a professor of philosophy in the

United States has written a book called Money and the Meanlng of Life. He has

discovered that how we deal with money in our day-to-day life has more meaning

than we usually think. One of the exercises he asked his students to do is to

keep a record of every penny they spend for a week. From the way they spend

their money, they can see what they really value in life. He says our relation

with others often becomes clearly defined when money enters the picture. You

might have a wonderful friendship with somebody and you think that you are very

good friends. But you will know him only when you ask him to lend you some

money. If he does, it brings something to the relationship that seems stronger

than ever before. Or it can suddenly weaken the relationship if he doesnt. This

person may say that he has a certain feeling, but if it is not carried out in

the money world, there is something lereal about it.

People just have an idea of ma-ki-ng more and more money, but what is it

for? How much do I need for any given purposes in my life7 In his book, the

professor uncovered an important need in modern society: to bring back the idea

that money is an instrument rather than the end. IMoney plays an important role

in the material world, but expecting money to give happinemay be missing the

meaning of life.
