The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget

about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer

vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over

all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a

better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of

exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It

stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation

Others, however, dont like after class activities at all. They think that a students work at school is learning theoretical knowledge and nothing else. Taking part in after class activities is a waste of the valuable time at school.

然而，其他人，不喜欢在所有的课外活动。他们认为学生在学校的工作是学习理论知识，没有其他的东西。参加课外活动是浪费宝贵的时间在学校。

In my opinion, every student should engage in some after class activities because from these activities we can learn many valuable things that we wont learn in classrooms. School is not just a place for learning the difference between "lie" or "lay", or what caused the hours of the daily schedule. Finally, after class activities broaden our circle of acquaintances. No amount of ordinary school work can take the place of friends acquired in the informal familiarities of activities.

星期天，我去了乡下看望爷爷奶奶，无事可干的我竟然心血来潮教爷爷说起英文了。

下午，我闲着的没事就问爷爷：“爷爷，你小时候上过学吗？”

“没有，我小时候家里穷，没钱上学，只好种地。”

没上过学！这一下让我想到了一个妙不可言的好主意——教爷爷说英文。反正闲着也是闲着，干脆让爷爷也增长点外国知识。

我便对爷爷说了这件事，爷爷笑着说：“好啊、好啊，孙女教我学英文。”于是，我从最基本的教起，我大声念了一句：“Hellow”。爷爷笑哈哈地跟着说：“哗啰”。我纠正道：“是Hellow，不是哗啰。再跟我念一遍，Hellow”。爷爷还是笑嘻嘻说成了“哗啰”。我有点生气了，转过身去不理睬爷爷。爷爷似乎知道我不高兴了，不知从哪来变出来一个红彤彤的大苹果，伸到我的面前对我说：“哗啰，吃‘冰果’喽！”。估计爷爷想说苹果的英文，可是又不会说，所以自己瞎编了一个，读成了“冰果”。这下我忍不住“扑哧”一声笑了出来，我从爷爷手里拿了苹果，我看了看苹果，大口大口地吃了起来。

“甜！不过爷爷，苹果的英文叫Apple”我说。

“安破。”爷爷乐呵呵跟着学了一句。我也不知道为什么，这次我没生爷爷的气。倒觉得爷爷真有意思。

这次教英文虽然效果不佳，但能换回来我和爷爷的欢笑，我觉得挺值得！

春雨缠绵，夏雨柔情，而秋雨则迷迷蒙蒙，犹如细长的丝缕把天地织在一起。秋雨是多情的，她会悄然来临，让你尽情诉说心中的爱。秋雨，也是寂寞的，当秋姑娘来临，大地呈现出一片金黄。唯有那菊花才会远离百花争艳的初春时期，选择在万物枯黄的世界中盛开，绽放，为寂寞的秋天增添一份热闹。

古人有“一场秋雨一场凉”的抱怨，但我却丝毫不觉得秋天是个悲伤的季节。因为秋天载满收获与喜悦，如丝的秋雨是对丰收的赞颂；秋天轻轻地把夏日暑气洗去，送来了凉爽，秋雨缠绵是对清新的问候。

秋季的雨淅淅沥沥地下个不停，淡淡的，轻轻的，为这世界的美丽，奉献了自己的一切，无怨无悔……

今年的秋天依然是夏天的那么火热，它不留一点风，也不带走一丝阳光。

大地被炙烤的火热，空气想凝固了一样，闷透了。豆大的汗珠一滴滴地往下淌。窗内的人们一直吹着风扇不挺，窗外的阳光依然是那么的明亮，简直让人睁不开眼。

“轰隆隆”，天公开始怒吼，天空变了颜色，渐渐暗了下来。风开始凶猛地吹着，这样坚持了几分钟之后，大地被一盆大雨给覆盖住了，哗啦啦的雨点伴着猛烈的风斜斜地下着。

树被风吹得摇头晃脑。我冒着大风大雨的袭击，站在门前，即使雨已经打在我的身上。看着门前的那几棵树，我便想起“哈利波特”电影中的恐怖镜头：狂风不挺的吹着，树木也疯狂地摇着，中间还夹带着恐怖的声音，忽然出现了黑色的怪物……此时的秋雨太猛烈了。

我突然觉得一场秋雨来之不易。大地经过了好几天酷热的考验，人们经历了好几天的暴晒，无论下田还是上山。最后，秋雨似乎看出了我们对它的渴望，它又以特别的出场方式“降生”了。

它的到来算是一场甘雨：人们的电风扇不用整天得忙碌了，口渴的小狗不用在吐舌头了，小孩子们也不用直往小卖部里奔走了，大人们也不用红着脸，满头大汗的回来了……是秋雨消灭了人们火燥的情绪，大地呈现出一派宁静祥和，不再是紧张焦急的状态了……

这让我想到，我们的生活、学习还不是如此吗？“不经历风雨怎见得彩虹”“阳光总在风雨后”这两句话不是很有力得说明了吗？一切的一切还是需要经历过挫折，才见得丰硕的果实。

是啊，一场秋雨给我带来凉爽，也给我带来希望。
