The 9th day of the 9th lunar month is the traditional Chongyang Festival, or Double Ninth Festival. It usually falls in October in the Gregorian calendar. 时间过的真快呀!一下子就到晚上了。吃饭啦!桌上的饭菜可丰盛了!有年糕，鱼，虾，螃蟹，鸭舌等等，都是我最爱吃的。吃完团圆饭我哥哥迫不及待地拿出爸爸给我买好的鞭炮放起来。随着爆竹啪，啪的声音，我和哥哥捂住耳朵高兴得跳了起来。放完鞭炮，我便等爷爷，爸爸亲人给我发压岁钱。我收到了好多压岁钱，我把它小心翼翼地放在我的枕头底下压岁。接着我们一家开始一边守岁一边看春节晚会。春光晚会真精彩呀!有小品，歌曲，还有舞蹈。可是我看到一半就睡着了,在梦里，我梦见明年的除夕夜也像今年的一样快乐幸福!

February 7th, Sunday, sunny, today is a big day thirty, I went to my grandmothers home with mom and dad New Years day, in the grandmothers house, I saw a lot of relatives and friends. We ate dinner together, and then the adults have to grab a red envelope, and our children are together to see the Spring Festival Gala, I feel happy new year. the culture influences generations. No matter where people live, they keep the

traditional festivals. Such as the people who live in Chinatown. Though some of

them have been immigrants, they still celebrate the traditional festivals. So in

every corner of Chinatown, the Chinese traditional features can be seen

everywhere. The preservation of the traditional culture is the key to help the

country live so long. After the long period of time, the essence of the culture

part have been inherited while the negative part has been removed. Many culture

even influences the foreign country, such as Confucius Institution, where

foreigners learn Chinese culture and mandarin. Though we are facing the impact

of Hollywood culture, the traditional festivals provides an important way to

save local culture.

When the festival comes, I will be very excited, because it is a good time

for my families to get together and we share our happiness. My favorite holiday

is Mid-autumn festival. I can have moon-cake. It is so delicious for me. The

moon looks so bright and big, and we can appreciate it while playing the cards

in the balcony.

There are many festivals in a year, I love Children’s day, because on that

day, I can have many candies from school. In the school, i will play many games,

there will be no class on Children’s day, everybody will have fun. Children’s

day is my favorite day, the day belongs to me. I enjoy that day so much. My

parents will also celebrate it for me.

Spring Festival

My best festival is Spring Festival. It is in Janurary or February. It is the most important festival for the Chinese people. On that day everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in red paper.

People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for breakfast, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for money and treasure.Burning fireworks was once the most typical custom on the Spring Festival. I like spring festival very much. Its my favourite holiday.

Lantern Festival is a Chinas traditional festival. It is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar year.

I,antern Festival is one of the biggest holidays in China. Several days before Lantern Festival, people begin to make lanterns. Lanterns are made in the shape of different animals, vegetables, fruits and many, other things. While making

lanterns people usually write riddles on lanterns. On the eve of Lantern Festival, all the lanterns are hung up.

On Lantern Festival people go outside to have a look at the lanterns and guess the riddles on the lanterns. Perhaps you call see some wonderful folk performances,Dragon Dance and Yangko. Everything is very interesting and everyone is very happy. Our life is rich and varied.
