I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. 《老人与海》这个故事写的是：老渔夫圣地亚哥在连续84天没捕到鱼的情况下，终于独自钓上了一条大马林鱼，但这鱼实在太大了，把他的小船在海上拖了三天才筋疲力尽，他杀死了绑在小船的一边，可想而知，这需要多大勇气和多强的意志啊!但在归程中一再碰到鲨鱼的袭击，于是老人与鲨鱼进行了殊死搏斗，但最后回港时只剩下鱼头鱼尾和一条脊骨。

但是他这种坚持不懈，自信的精神难道不值得我们学习吗?虽然老渔夫没有把完整的马林鱼拖回海岸，在别人眼里是失败的，但是实际上他是成功的。

俗话说：不以成败论英雄。他那坚强的意志，勇敢的精神不比英雄的行为逊色，他将成为经历磨难而战无不胜的巨人，值得每个人学习。

古时候的愚公移山，愚公明知道移山不是容易的事，但他还是去做了。还有“水滴石穿”、“铁杆磨成针”……等等故事都是说坚持不懈，都意味着“有志者，事竟成”。

在现实生活中，遇到困难是难免的，当然，最重要的是勇敢去面对，从失败中吸取深刻的教训。“失败乃成功之母”!回想一下，每当自己遇到困难，就很难过，十分不耐烦，失败时就像一个泄了气的皮球，又像没有水的鱼儿……

古人云：山重水复疑无路，柳暗花明又一村。我们要抱着希望去挑战困难，因为我相信成功永远属于我自己!

读罢《围城》，我的情绪是复杂的。我同情方鸿渐的遗憾人生，我难过孙柔嘉的工于心计，我思考苏文纨的执着追求，我欣赏唐晓芙的直爽聪慧，我感叹书中无止境的斗争，我感叹人生的变幻无常。正像苏文纨说：“被围困的城堡，城外的人想进去，城里的人想逃出来.”在我们每个人的心中是否也由这样的一座城。

方鸿渐的优柔寡断，玩世不恭以及苏文纨的矜持自负使他们错过了彼此。思想陈腐守旧的董斜川，“新古典主义”诗人曹元朗，方鸿渐好友赵辛楣，以及聪颖美丽的唐晓芙，在小说的一开始就上演了一出知识分子百无聊赖的宴饮大戏，这足以见到他们各自内心的“围城”，每个人心中都有一座城，在这样庸俗无聊充斥着虚假笑脸的社会中，他们用这样的一座城保护自己。

方鸿渐，赵辛楣和未来三闾大学的训导长李梅亭，副教授顾尔谦和青年助教孙柔嘉在起航南下的过程中组成了“小社会”，各种矛盾和各种调侃，各种嬉戏及丑态，将人性的思想弱点描绘的淋漓紧致。接着是方鸿渐在三闾大学教书的经历。大学里，上自校长，下至学生的人事纠纷，职业上的排挤，情场上的竞争，堂而皇之的例行公事，见不得人的诬陷，阴谋诡计。一时间三闾大学成了镜像逐鹿的舞台。一些学者粉末登场，他们中有李梅亭那样满口仁义道德的半旧遗老，有韩学愈那样外形木讷，内心龌龊的假洋博士，也有高松年那样道貌岸然老奸巨猾的伪君子，有汪处厚那样依附官僚谋取职位的阿木林，有陆子潇，顾尔谦那样一心攀龙附凤的势利小人。这座大学，也是一座“围城”，在这一座城里，表面光鲜灿烂，而暗地里各有各的无奈虚伪。

最后，方鸿渐和孙柔嘉结婚了，他进入了另一座“围城”，孙小姐“千方百计”地嫁给方鸿渐后，她的挑剔，她的心机，她的虚荣，她的势利，渐渐都映在方鸿渐眼里。最后那掷梳子的一幕，大概是让方鸿渐最伤心的吧。毕竟他俩从确定恋爱到结婚，实在是太迅速。婚后的吵吵闹闹也许是很多青年男女婚后的故事，他俩像是一家人，又不像是一家人，两人的个性都太强，一个人不喜欢她的姑妈，一个人不喜欢她的叔叔，谁也不肯让谁。但也许是因为责任心，方鸿渐还是希望维持这种夫妻关系，而又因为心太软的人一出手就太恨了点，方鸿渐还是将她打走了。在这一座“围城”中，方鸿渐试图逃出来。

“天下只有两种人。譬如一串葡萄到手，一种人挑最好的先吃，另一种人把最好的留在最后吃。照例第一种人应该乐观，因为他每吃一颗都是吃剩的葡萄里最好的;第二种应该悲观，因为他每吃一颗都是吃剩的葡萄里最坏的。不过事实上适得其反，缘故是第二种人还有希望，第一种人只有回忆。”我总觉得方鸿渐属于第一种人。

Self-confidence, as is approved by research and practice, has an amazingly powerful influence on the output of people’s activities. Patients who believe that they’ll recover soon generally cures faster than those who think they won’t. Students with optimistic characters usually provide better performance, even if they work the same hard as others. Although someone may regard such conclusion as superstitious, it does take place everyday and everywhere. Neural scientists have discovered that, when a man feels confident, his brain will secrete some kinds of hormone that boost brain activity and improve the efficiency of his immune system. In contrast, a melancholic brain is suppressed by other chemicals and cannot fully exhibit its potential.

To help building up self-confidence, you can take the following two steps. First, identify your merits and value them. If you constantly compare your weakness to others’ advantages, you’d only gain frustration rather than confidence. Second, track every little progress you’ve made and review them frequently. You may not possibly become perfectly

successful in one day, but if only you can see yourself growing gradually, surely you’re on the right way.

There’re also other methods making you more confident that depend on yourself to find out, and they’re all necessary elements to make you more competitive in your area.

看《小王子》的时候，没有读言情小说的内心跌宕，更没有读悬疑小说的“求知若渴”，只是慢慢的，像溪水一样静静的流淌。不管怎样，溪水也是美丽的，偶尔出现的插画多少会有些惊喜，时不时的一些小哲理也会让内心有所触动。当我耐着性子将整本书读完的时候，我居然会有种淡淡的伤感。明明像是给孩子看的童书，我怎么没有收获灰姑娘的完美结局感呢?

我焦虑不安的去寻找这份悲伤的来源，到底是这本书的那一部分让我这个成年人难过了呢?哦，应该是最后一部分，主人公讲完了他和小王子六年前相遇的故事。六年了，每一个细节他都记得那么清楚，他担心小王子的星球会不会被绵羊吃掉，这对他而言是非常重要而正经的事情。他常常会看着天上的星星，因为小王子就在某个星球上笑，看星星就像看到了五亿个小铃铛在微笑。他画出了小王子在地球上消失的地方，希望去往非洲沙漠的朋友如果碰到了小王子能写信通知他。他那么深切的思念着他的小王子，那个把他驯服的小孩。

哦，不对，最让人难过的应该是倒数第二部分，主人公和小王子真正分别的那一刻。在地球上已经生活了一周年的小王子要回到自己的星球了，他安慰他的朋友说“当你抬头看夜空的时候，因为我住在某颗星星上面，因为我会在某颗星星上面笑，所以对你来说，就好像所有的星星都在笑，那时你将拥有会笑的星星。”小王子总是能用简单的话说出大人看不见的道理。

《小王子》除了伤感，就没有别的了吗?如果非要问还有什么，我会整理下情绪，和大家讲讲小王子和狐狸的故事。在这一部分中，狐狸说出了很多让人相看恨晚的话。比如，他告诉小王子“如果你训化了我，那我们就会彼此需要，你对我来说就是独一无二的，我对你来说也是独一无二的”。当小王子说要去结识更多的朋友，了解更多的事情，狐狸说“你只能了解你训化的东西”。当小王子要离开去远方的时候，狐狸告诉了他一个秘密“看东西只有用心才能看到，重要的东西用眼睛是看不到的”。

当我读到上面这一部分的时候，我想到了爱情。这个世界上有那么多男男女女，而爱情就是彼此驯化的。对于你爱的那个人来说，他是那么的与众不同，因为你曾走进他的生活，为他的喜怒哀乐而欢乐悲伤过。“正是因为你为你的玫瑰付出的时间，使得你的玫瑰是如此的重要。”狐狸的话套用在这里再适合不过了。

说起玫瑰花，就不得不说小王子为什么要离开自己的星球了，原来是因为他和自己的玫瑰花闹别扭了。玫瑰花喜欢随口说些让他不开心的话，现在的小王子后悔不已，他说“我应该看她的行动，而不是听她的言语。她为我散发芬芳，点亮生活。我不应该离开她，我应该看出藏在她那些小把戏后面的柔情”。

当小王子遇到狐狸之前，他还遇到过国王、虚荣的人、爱喝酒的人、做生意的人、掌灯的人和地理学家。对于这些所谓的大人，小王子都觉得他们奇怪极了，他们做着“正经事”，但在小王子眼里，真正的正经事却不是这些。

当我从后往前的将《小王子》又翻看了一遍时，我才发现正文之前分明写着这是一本献给大人的书。大人啊大人，往往急不可耐的想要看到精彩的情节来完成这篇读后感，却忽略了读书本身的意义。

这真是一本给大人写的书，因为对小孩子而言，都是写理所当然的事情，无需看书去明白和体会的。而大人们，在逐渐世俗生活中好像忘记的当初的自己，习惯了用眼睛去看，却不记得如何用心去看了。

We may obtain knowledge by reading. The more books we read, the more we accumulate the knowledge. Is it right? I dont think so. Its not wide reading but useful reading that leads to excellence.

And only good books can benifit us.So choosing books is very important for reading. Many students spend a lot of time reading legends and swordsman novels.Its a waste of time. Some students even read some bad books and it is harmful for them.

So be as careful of the books we read, as of the company we keep, for our habit and character will be as much influened by the former as by the latter.
