而与这两人不同的是乔治哈里斯。他的思想是活跃的，他未被基.督教精神禁锢，在一次次的忍耐后，他选择了爆发。他的行为是那么的鼓舞人心，为了自由与尊严而战斗，他的精神感染着周围的人，促使他们在沉睡中渐渐醒来。

这部书的问世，对美国历史的发展产生了巨大的推动作用。美国总统林肯接见斯托夫人时曾开玩笑地说她“写了一本书，酿成了一场大战”。可见，民族意识的觉醒对于一个民族生死存亡来说是多么的关键，思想的力量是无法抵挡的。

读完这本书，我不禁联想起中国近代史的发展：从新思想的蒙发，林则徐、魏源放眼寰球，到维新变法，康有为等人发起的资产阶级改良运动，再到新文化运动，李大钊、鲁迅等在中国发展马克思主义，最终带领中国人走向独立和富强，这一次次的新思想解放运动不都证明了思想的力量是无穷无尽、无法抵挡的吗?

如果说一个没有思想的民族就意味着灭亡，那么一个没有思想的个人也就如行尸走肉一般了。我们生活在和平年代，享受着自由与平等，我们有许多优于先人们的物质和精神文化条件，但这些并不是可以允许我们大脑能停止思考的优势，而是要求我们更具创造力和洞察力。我们的思维应该更加开阔，未来的社会需要我们去创造。

人的肉体是可以被困住的，被杀死的;而人的思想却是灵动的，永垂不朽的，它会激励我们去抵抗，去探索，去开拓，。这便是思想的力量。

last sunday my classmates and i went to xiangshan park.

we met at 7 oclock at the school gate. the weather in beijing that day was great. at around 8 oclock, we arrived at xiangshan park. there is a high tree on the bottom of the hill. we had a party and played games under the tree. then we climbed to the top of xiangshan mountain. it was not very difficult for us to do it. next, we had lunch at the top of the hill. it was delicious. after lunch, we saw some birds. they were friendly. and we saw a whole picture of beijing. "what a beautiful city!" i said. at that moment, we all felt so proud. i live in beijing now. the 2008 olympic games was held here.

寒假期间，我读了一本名为《汤姆叔叔的小屋》的书，著者是美国的斯陀夫人。这本书中主要叙述了汤姆叔叔在三个不同奴隶主手下的生活。除了汤姆叔叔这个重要的角色，书中涉及到的人物还有汤姆的三个主人--谢尔先生、克莱尔先生和农场的奴隶头雷格里，汤姆的妻子克洛婶婶，善良又美丽的仆人丽莎，可爱的孩子们，如克莱尔先生的女儿伊娃小姐、黑人女孩儿托普西，等等。

在《汤姆叔叔的小屋》这本书里，有几个片段写得十分精彩传神。

第一个片段写的是伊娃在临死前与家里所有的仆人告别。当我读到"我最亲爱的朋友们，请你们到这里来，伊娃说，是因为我最喜欢你们，最爱你们，我有话要对大家说，我希望你们记住我的话……我快要离开你们了，再过几个星期，你们就再也见不到我了--时，我的心灵受到了极大的震撼。这段描写让我有一种身临其境的感觉，我非常同情这个年龄幼小、心中充满对他人的爱的伊娃。

第二个片段讲的是：伊娃死后不久，托普西很想在伊娃的身边放一朵花，可罗莎不同意，当克莱尔同意时，罗莎才肯让她进去。让我们一起来感受书中情真意切的文字吧!

to reflect something about our canteen.

To our satisfaction, the canteen supplies us with various kinds of

food.This gives us many choices. At the same time the price for the food is low

and the food is tasty. And the surroundings for having a meal have been

improved. The canteen has become clean. And when we are eating, we can watch

(整个故事简介写得挺好，用字不多，但写出了主要内容)

(把这个放在开头比较好)这篇小说讲了美国的奴隶制，在奴隶制期间，黑人家庭可以随便拆散，人可以被像东西一样卖来卖去，所有的奴隶都是奴隶主的财产。汤姆被卖掉后，只能抛弃家庭，背井离乡。

书里还写了许多其它被拆散的家庭。在拍卖会上，一对母子正准备卖出，可是买主只买了孩子。还有汤姆在新奥尔良遇见的老蒲露，就是因为孩子被夺走而伤心，最后悲痛地死去。

书中的主人公是汤姆，他为人正直，伸张正义，他宁肯牺牲自己，也不会出卖他人，不会做自己认为不该做的事。他主动为体弱的人摘棉花，防止被奴隶主抽打。

书中还写了其他奴隶主的形像。奴隶贩黑利冷醋无情，圣克莱尔的妻子玛丽随意处置奴隶，完全无视奴隶的情感。乔治的主人非常自大，把奴隶视为物品，奴隶主雷格更是已经没有了人性，曾经一脚把母亲踢晕，妈奴隶更是残酷无情，在收棉花的季节里，他逼着奴隶一天干到晚，只给一点干粮奴隶吃。

这本书讲出了人类的自私和邪恶，大家共同在一个地球上，只是肤色不同，为什么黑人天生是当奴隶的，而白人就天生高贵，我们人不能发生这种事。

To Pull up the Seedlings to Help Them Grow拔苗助长

Once upon a time, there was an old farmer who planted a plot of rice. After he planted the seedlings, every day he went to the field to watch the seedlings grow. He saw the young shoots break through the soil and grow taller each day, but still, he thought they were growing too slowly. Eventually he got impatient with the young plants and suddenly he hit upon an idea that one by one, he pulled up the young plants by half an inch. The next early morning, the young man couldnt wait to check his "achievement", but he was heart-broken to see all the pulled-up young plants dying.

读《汤姆叔叔的小屋》，总是让我想到“人”这个问题上来。如果那个时代的真实情况就是书中描述的那样。那人就的确是一个不好定义的“东西”。

“人”怎么可以贴上标签，在市场上明目张胆的出售呢?就算是作者在书中对奴隶制度揶揄“你们是受过教育的，他们胸无点墨;你们高贵，他们卑贱;你们文雅，他们粗俗;你们才华横溢，他们愚昧笨拙”，可是我们作为“人”在同一世界生活着。如果弱肉强食是人类生存的严格准则，那人的每个“缺点”都可以作为“非人”的标签，那么人类的最终结局又将是怎样可怕呢?遗憾的是，那时代的美国仅仅将“肤色”作为一种标签。黑人的生活不堪入目。

汤姆被出售后，虽然厄运并没有那么快的降临，但却是一个死亡时刻的端倪。忠实可怜的汤姆在被迫抛妻别子后遇到了心地善良、仁慈孱弱的圣克莱。他虽然是个奴隶主，可是在他心中，奴隶仍是一个“人”，他们仍然享有一定的法律保护。属于汤姆的曙光仿佛已经到来。圣克莱的女儿伊娃(伊万杰琳)，仿佛是汤姆、也是奴隶制度下的所有黑人的光明使者。我总是隐约觉得作者在书中描述的伊娃不是世间的凡人，因为那样的灵魂，一个学富五车的人尚不一定有，更别说是个孩子了。

伊娃的那一段独白是故事中最感人的一段，她向苍天发出的最哀婉、深沉的呼唤：“我想让你们记住，还有一个美丽的世界，耶稣居住的世界，那个世界属于我，也将属于你，你们每个人都能变成天使，永远变成天使，耶稣肯定会保佑你的。”这是从一个有稚气的孩童嘴里说出来的。也许伊娃便是耶稣的替身，把所有的苦难包揽在一个人的身上，从而给别人光明。但幼小的伊娃终究却在疾病的折磨下死去了。

有着丰富、真挚感情的人在那个惨无人道暗无天日的时代，必定是生存不下去的。伊娃的死让圣克莱心如死水。人世间再也没有什么值得他留恋的了，最终被人误伤而溘然长逝。可怜的汤姆又一次遭受“商品”的转卖，黑人的命运最终仍旧摆脱不了奴隶制度死亡的指定时刻。
