what their children do, they just want them to be happy. Without the economic

burden, those people can focus all their attention and follow their dreams all

But for the persons whose family are poor, especially the parents are

Do your teachers still use traditional techniques to teach you nowadays? A revol- ution in teaching techniques is required now. In the past, we just took it for granted that a teacher s aim was to teach the students all that he knew and solve all the problems for them. Therefore, students could mot judge things on their own under this circumstance. Thus students gradually lost the ability to learn by themselves. In addition, they were only equipped with the knowledge that were taught in class and made the same judgement upon every problem which might crop up. Of course, they would find their knowledge not enough to solve practical problems.

So it is time to change the teaching method. A teacher s goal is to help the students develop not only the ability to learn by themselves but the skills to make judgements on every aspect on their own. It s not necessary for the students to turn to teachers for help while meeting with difficulties. The first thing is to develop the students abilities to make sound judgements upon any problem and overcome difficulties.

All in all, the aim of teaching is to liberate, but mot to fetter the students innate powers of making sound judgements.

I cannot recall how I studied my native language, but I still remember the way my little cousin learned to speak. He listened to what people said and tried to imitate what he had heard. But in the old days,Tianjin used to be a poor and backward city

characteristic of semi-colonialism and semi-feudalism.The few rich persons lived

in luxury houses while the majority of the working people lived in old,shabby

huts or buildings on narrow and muddy streets.The working class led a very

miserable life.

Today people in Tianjin are going all out to build their city into a

beautiful and prosperous place to live in.

Everybody needs themotivationto move on, so no matter what kind of difficulties they meet, they can see the hope and stick to the targets. I have set up small targets for myself, so I can make progress step by step. The Spring Festival in the past half a month, but I still cant forget!

春节都过去半个月了，可是我还是无法忘记!

我和爸爸、妈妈、舅舅、舅妈、爷爷、奶奶一起在家里包了好吃的饺子，然后大家聚在一起吃了一顿丰盛的年夜饭!我还给他们磕头拜年，获得了许多的压岁钱，我高兴极了!我穿上了妈妈给我买的新衣服，和妈妈一起高高兴兴地贴春联。晚上，我看了联欢晚会，有唱歌的、有跳舞的、还有变魔术的，看得我目瞪口呆，真精彩呵!

不知不觉，就到了下楼放炮的时间了。我买了很多的炮，有冲天炮，有彩珠筒，还有震天雷，各种各样，五颜六色。我放了这个，又放那个，忙得不亦乐呼，只听见整个小区里震耳欲聋，几乎每家每户都在放炮!

大年初一早上，我们一家出去玩。只见街上到处都挂着红灯笼和彩旗，真是张灯结彩，热闹非凡!每一个路过的人脸上都喜气洋洋!

商场里面更是人山人海，走都走不动，尤其是卖糖果的地方，让我看得眼花缭乱，口水都要流出来了!

Yesterday was my birthday and I received a lot of presents.

These presents were packed in coloured paper and two of them were funny and interesting, which impressed me.

My sister sent a bag of present to me. The bag was big and round. I though it was a football. But when I opened it, I saw a clock. The other one was given by my brother. He left me a message, which said my present is lying in your bedroom. When I got to my bedroom, I found a laptop. Oh!Great! I jumped with joy. I know, they Want me to study hard and not to waste time.
