中国最大的传统节日是春节，每到大年三十，家里的男孩们都要跟爸爸和爷爷去坟地“请家神”，家里的女孩都跟着妈妈和奶奶在家里打扫屋子，准备贡品。大年初一，任何人都不能往地上丢脏东西，也不能扫地，这样是怕脏了“家神”的身，房子里还要放两把椅子，是让最大的“家神”坐的。大年初二一早，又要把“家神”们送回他们该去的地方。

当朝气蓬勃的你们一起无忧无虑地成群围坐在明亮堂皇的教室里愉快地读着书时，不知你们会想到什么?当你的亲戚朋友夸奖你的儒雅文明有礼貌时，你又会想到什么?当你读着“窈窕淑女，君子好逑”时，你还会想到什么?

对了，就是他，我们中华民族真正的第一个夫子(老师)――孔夫子，孔丘。他私办学院，广招学徒，兴办教育。从此真正意义上的学校出现了。不仅是那时的人们，整个中华民族永远都被这场春风细雨般的教育时时浸润着心田。他所提出的学习方法，如“知之为知之，不知为不知，是知也”、“温故而知新可以为师矣”、“举一例而反三”等等都被我们现在的学生所接受，且让我们受益匪浅。他的教学方法，如“因材施教”等也都被现在的老师们一直推崇，且不断实践。而且，他也是儒家学派的创始人。从汉武帝“罢黜百家，独尊儒术”起，甚至到现在，儒家思想影响了中国人民两千多年。称呼他孔圣人会有错吗?他还编订了《诗经》、《尚书》、《周易》、《春秋》等史书。对中华文化的传播和发扬，对中国人民性情的陶冶和影响，只会多，不可能少。

这不，开放的世人已在各自的国家里开办了200多个孔子学院。去年德国的孔院才刚揭幕不久。孔文化不仅浸润着国人的心田，也渐渐浸润着世人的心田。

孔子，中国文化史上不可或缺的人物，迢迢星河里永远闪烁着的明星。

走过春秋，脚步停留在战国时代，遥望楚国土地，似有一股非凡的气势。只见一个人披头散发地从楚殿仰天长笑而出。他从心底里呐喊：“举世皆浊我独清，众人皆醉我独醒”。来到汨罗江边，连撑竿的渔夫也看出了他的苦楚与不平。他想了好久，最后决定与江水相生相息，永远共存亡。而江水就是他新的肉体，代表着他不灭的肉体。

他，就是三闾大夫屈原。他虽逝去了，但我们明智的现代人可不是那个昏庸的楚怀王。我们永远地记住了你，记住了你的《离骚》，也从此有了“端午思贤”的习俗。《离骚》，中国文化的一座丰碑。“路漫漫其修远兮，吾将上下而求索”，一直鼓舞着不知多少中国文人墨客和求知的莘莘学子们，滋润着他们的心田，久久。而每当端午时分，锣鼓声起，江水翻腾，龙舟舞动，为了思念屈原的忠贤仁厚。而且人们纷纷往水里投粽子，希望水中的雨儿不要吃了他的肉体，去吃那些粽子。可见屈原在中国人民的心中有何等崇高的地位啊!

不仅如此，1953年我国屈原与波兰天文学家哥白尼、法国文学家拉伯雷、古巴作家和民族运动领袖何塞?马蒂一并被列为世界四大文化名人。

不同凡响的“骚”文化不仅浸润着国人的心田，也同孔文化一样渐渐浸润着世人的心田。

屈原，迢迢星河里难得的一颗明星，国人永远的骄傲，中国文化的骄傲。

走完这趟长长的“文化之旅”，驻足眺望星河的前方，原来还有如此多闪闪发光的明星;再回首，虽只是两颗，但这一点一滴也依旧光芒不减，久久震撼我的心灵，让我无法平静。

原来，这一条迢迢星河是无法走完的，我要用一生去采撷它们的光芒。我坚信，在改革开放后的现代中国，中国文化将不仅浸润着中国人民的心田，而且也会不断地影响着世界人民。

Traditional Culture Wont Be Lost

It seems we are living in the conflict between modern and traditional cultures every day. Hearing the blaring of horns the moment you step out of your house, seeing the so called "pop" the moment you open your eyes, you cant help thinking, "Will the traditional culture be gradually lost?"

Many people believe so. They may put right in front of you all the evidences they can dig out. They may argue that people are rushing to restaurants instead of cooking at home, listening to pop music but not traditional, wearing in a way people couldnt imagine ten years ago. Modern people like the air of freedom, not to be restrained by traditions. They offer this long list, only trying to confirm that this world is full of fashion,competition and temptation and the traditional culture is fading

and will be lost at last.

Though we are now living in a world in which undeclared aggression, war, hypocrisy, chicanery, anarchy are part of our daily life. Though this is a skeptical age, and our faith has weakened, our confidence in some aspects of the traditional culture should and would never be lost.

Wouldnt you agree that our traditional culture is always credited with modesty, politeness and respectfulness, which have always been treasured for more than five thousand years?Even in this modern world, people still admire those with good manners, those who are polite to others or respectful to old people.

Wouldnt you agree that our Chinese traditional music is beautiful and artistic and our Chinese tea culture is always an appealing treasure to people around the world?

So there may just be some changes in our lifestyle or our attitudes towards life, but little change occurs to some fundamental aspects of our traditional culture that people still treasure in heart.

Protect Traditional Chinese Culture

The passage mainly tells us the importance of protecting traditional Chinese culture, which is challenged or facing extinction because of the developing society and changing lifestyle. Besides, China is nationwide sparing no efforts to do it.

The protection of national and folk culture is of great significance to Chinese cultural diversity and also to the harmonious development between local economic and social development. It is reported that the Guangdong government pays special attention to protecting Chaoju(潮剧)， a local drama born in Chaozhou in the eastern Guangdong province.

In my opinion, some measures should be taken to protect traditional culture effectively. To start with, we should make a law to regulate the society’s performance. Besides, we should draw more people’s attention to it, for the more they know about the importance of culture protection, the stronger the support we can get from the public.

In a word, it is high time for us to treasure and develop our own valuable culture.

耍龙灯也叫“舞龙”、“龙灯舞”，是我国独具特色的民间娱乐生活活动之一。从春节到元宵灯节，我国城乡广大城区都有舞龙的习俗。经过千百年的沿袭发展，耍龙灯已经成为一种活泼、表演优美、带有浪漫色彩的民间舞蹈。

舞龙起源于人们对龙的迷信，距今已有两千多年的历史了。在古代人们用耍龙灯祈祷龙的保佑。以求得风调雨顺，五谷丰登。

舞龙的主要部位是龙头、龙身两个部位。龙的节数以单数为吉利，多见为九节龙、十一阳龙、十三世龙、多者可达二九银龙。十五节以上的龙比较笨重，不以舞动，主要是用来欣赏

，这种舞龙特别讲究装潢，具有很高的工艺价值。还有一种“火龙”。危险性很高，用竹子先撑住内部，披上红红火火的龙衣，在竹子里面的缝上顶住蜡烛跳来跳去，欣赏性很高，夜间表演十分壮观。

舞龙的耍法有多种，九节以内的侧重于花样技巧，较常见的有：江龙漫游、龙头飞舞、头尾交跳、龙身摆尾等。十一节，十三节的龙，侧重于动作表演，有各种的样的金龙玩珠、火龙刀蜡、一应俱全、应有尽有的花样让我们眼花缭乱，非常好看。

舞龙的习俗在海内外华人受到了发扬和光大。每逢中国人的传统节日，他们就一向会舞起龙、耍起狮，呈现出一片浓浓的东方气概。

今天，我在国旗下讲话的主题是：忆革命先烈过文化清明!

同学们，再过几天就是我国的清明节了!

谈到清明节，总会让人联想到历史人物介子推。据历史记载，在两千多年以前的春秋时代，晋国公子重耳逃亡在外，生活艰苦，跟随他的介子推不惜从自己的腿上割下一块肉让他充饥。后来，重耳回到晋国，做了国君(即晋文公，春秋五霸之一〕，大事封赏所有跟随他流亡在外的随从，惟独介子推拒绝接受封赏，他带了母亲隐居绵山，不肯出来，晋文公无计可施，只好放火烧山，他想，介子推孝顺母亲,一定会带着老母出来。谁知这场大火却把介子推母子烧死了。为了纪念介子推，晋文公下令每年的这一天，禁止生火，家家户户只能吃生冷的食物，这就是寒食节的来源。寒食节是在清明节的前一天(就是今天)，古人常把寒食节的活动延续到清明，久而久之，人们便将寒食与清明合而为一。

“清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂”。又是让人难忘的清明时节，不知您此时是否忘记了曾为民族独立抛头颅洒热血的英雄们?是否忘记了为祖国解放事业而献身的英烈们? 我们不能忘记!今天我们要带着40多位优秀的少先队员到少年英雄张高谦的故里——大韩高谦小学，走近张高谦烈士陵园，瞻仰高谦烈士陵园，缅怀英雄，追寻"红色少年"的英雄足迹，学习少年英雄的精神。

清明节是中华民族延续了2500多年的传统节日。我们要在清明节这一天祭祀先祖、学习感恩。不过，每年清明节前后，人们总是扶老携幼集中出行，大量人流、车流致使交通拥堵现象严重。在市区，一些群众在马路边、广场、花园、小区随意烧纸放炮，不仅污染环境卫生，而且给市民的生活带来影响;在农村，田间地头、山冈山坡上烧纸放鞭，烟雾缭绕，引发森林火灾的事件时有发生。

同学们，清明节只有扫墓、祭祀未免太单调了。我们不妨学学古人，过个丰富多彩的清明文化节，放假期间我们可以到郊外踏青赏花与亲近自然保护环境、到空旷场地放风筝，过一个明净清爽的节日。

同学们，我们唯有继承先烈遗志，发愤图强，以优异的成绩告慰青松下长眠的烈士，过个文明安全的清明节，过个祥和快乐的清明节，过个清澈明亮的清明节.

In china if you invite people for meal, the person who invited other people would pay for the meal but it’s not the way in Western country. In western country people will think you only invited me but it’s not your responsibility to pay for me.

I can afford it. They won’t be happy if you pay for them. People in China would always put dishes into customer’s plate to show their hospitality, but they will think it’s not healthy because your chopsticks have been used by you. In western country like America not England, people will always give tips to waiter after they finished meal in a restaurant.

If you don’t they will not be happy because tips are one of their major income. In china this only happen in some top restaurants and hotels in large international cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Western people will also think you are rude if you make sound during the meal. Western people do not hold their bowl up even when they have a bowl of soup.
