饭桌上，外公说：“你们知道中秋节的神话故事吗？相传古时候，嫦娥偷吃了丈夫后羿从西王母那儿拿来的长生不老药后，升到了月宫，时间一久便感觉很孤独，于是叫后羿在八月十五用面粉做一些圆圆的丸子，放在月光下，然后叫她的名字，她就能回来。中秋节吃月饼的风俗也就这样形成了。”

“哦，原来是这样啊。”我一边吃着美味佳肴，一边想着嫦娥一个人在遥远的月宫里的情形。一个人呆在那么远的地方，没有家人和朋友陪在身边，确实很孤独啊！

舅舅和爸爸、外公三人在喝酒，我和妈妈、外婆三人拿着饮料和他们干杯，好开心啊！

在回家的高速上，我们看见天空中挂着一轮明月，又大又圆。我不禁想起一首古诗：“小时不识月，呼作白玉盘。又疑瑶台镜，飞在青云端。”

I think Mid-Autumn Day is an old traditional festival in China. Everybody likes it because its a family get-together. You see it is called"Mid-Autumn Day", so it often comes in September or October. It is on the 15th of the 8th of the lunar month. Now, lets say something about this interesting festival.

Firstly, Id like to say something about the moon. I like it very much because I want to be an astronaut in the future. That day the moon is round, big, just like a beautiful plate hanging on the blue cloth. When I see the moon, I will remember the ancient myths——the godess Chang Er and her little rabbit are playing under the tree which Wu Gang grows. I will also think about Armstrongs first moonwalk. I will also miss the friends in Tai-wan island, in Macao and Chinese people who are abroad. I know they are missing us very much, too.

Secondly, I11 say something about the tradition on Mid-Autumn Day. Look!Theres a big tree in a garden of a Chinese fami-ly. All the family members are sitting around a big table under the tree in the open air. They are eating the mooncakes and admiring the full moon in the sky. That is a family reunion dinner. The mooncakes and the moon represent the love from a family. I think this is one of the most valuable things in the world.

Thirdly，it is a very good opportunity to make three wishes on Mid-Autumn Day. My wishes are: the first, I, an astronaut in the future, would like to go to the moon one day, and stay with the sky and stars; the second, I hope every person in the world will stay with family, share love from the family forever; the third, I hope everybodys dream will come true.

That is the Mid-Autumn Day in my mind. I will always re-member: East or West, home is best.

我认为中秋节是一个古老的传统节日在中国。每个人都喜欢它,因为它是一个家庭聚会。你看到它被称为“中秋节”,所以它通常在9月或10月到来。它是农历的8月15日。现在,让我们谈谈这个有趣的节日。

Today, my grandmother took me to observe the rose flowers in my neighbors grandmothers house. We walked into the neighbors grandmothers garden.

As soon as I entered the small garden of my neighbors house, I smelled the aroma of rose flowers. I immediately ran to see the rose flowers. Looking from a distance, the powder is like Xia, the white is like jade, the yellow is like gold, and all kinds of rose flowers are blooming. They are more beautiful with the foil of leaves and artificial cultivation.

中秋节又称月夕、秋节、仲秋节、八月节、八月会、追月节、玩月节、拜月节、女儿节或团圆节，是流行于全国众多民族中的传统文化节日，时在农历八月十五;因其恰值三秋之半，故名。据说此夜月球距地球最近，月亮最大显圆最亮，所以从古至今都有饮宴赏月的习俗;回娘家的媳妇是日必返夫家，以寓圆满、吉庆之意。也有些地方将中秋节定在八月十六，如宁波、台州、舟山，这与方国珍占据温、台、明三州时，为防范元朝官兵和朱元田的袭击而改正月十四为元宵、八月十六为中秋”有关。中秋节是远古天象崇拜--敬月习俗的遗痕。据《周礼?春官》记载，周代已有中秋夜迎寒”、中秋献良裘”、秋分夕月(拜月)”的活动;汉代，又在中秋或立秋之日敬老、养老，赐以雄粗饼。晋时亦有中秋赏月之举，不过不太普遍;直到唐代将中秋与储娥奔月、吴刚伐桂、玉兔捣药、杨贵妃变月神、唐明皇游月宫等神话故事结合起，使之充满浪漫色彩，玩月之风方才大兴。

北宋，正式定八月十五为中秋节，并出现小饼如嚼月，中有酥和饴”的节令食品。

其中还推出烧斗香”、走月亮”、放天灯”、树中秋”、点塔灯”、舞火龙”、曳石”、卖兔儿爷”等节庆活动;其中的赏月，吃月饼、团圆饭等习俗，一直流传到今天。

下面是一个有关中秋节的故事。

嫦娥是月亮神，她的丈夫后羿是一位勇猛善战的战神，他的神弓和神箭百发百中。当时人间出现了许多猛禽野兽，残害人民。天帝得知这一情况后就派后羿下凡去消灭这些害人的东西。

后羿奉天帝之命，携同美丽的妻子嫦娥来到人间。因为勇猛无比，用不了多少功夫，后羿就消灭了陆地上许多害人的动物。当任务就要完成时，无法预料的事情出现了天空中同时出现了十个太阳!

十个太阳都是天帝的儿子，他们仅仅为了恶作剧就同时出现在天空中，大地的温度聚然升高，森林、庄稼着火了，河流干涸了，被烤死的人民横尸遍野。

后羿不忍看到人民的灾难，他就用好话劝告十个太阳，请他们十兄弟单独行动，每天轮流出来一个。可是骄横的太阳兄弟们根本不把后羿放在眼里，反而变本加厉，故意接近大地，地面上更是燃起了大火。

后羿看到太阳兄弟为非作歹，多次劝告都没有效果，人民已经死伤无数，实在无法忍耐了，便弯起他的神弓，搭上神箭，向太阳射去，一口气射下了九个太阳，最后一个太阳认罪讨饶，后羿才息怒收弓。

后羿为人间除了大害，却得罪了天帝，天帝因为他射杀自己九个儿子而大发雷霆，不许他们夫妇再回到天上。

既然无法回天，后羿便决定留在人间。
