Chang-Err，his beautiful wife， could no longer stand by and watch him abuse his power so she stole his Elixir and fled to the moon to escape his angry wrath. And thus began the legend of the beautiful woman in the moon，the Moon Fairy.

The second legend has it that during the Yuan Dynasty，an underground group led by Zhu Yuan Zing was determined to rid the country of Mongolian dominance. The moon cake was created to carry a secret message.

When the cake was opened and the message read，an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the Mongolians. It happened at the time of the full moon，which，some say，explains why moonquakes are eaten at this time.

TheDragonBoatFestivaloccurs on the fifth day of the fifth moon of the lunar calendar(阴历). It is one of the three most important of the annual Chinese festivals. The other two are the Autumn Moon Festival and Chinese New Year.

The story of this colorful festival concerns a famous Chinese scholar-statesman(政治家) named Chu Yuan(屈原) who, some three centuries before the birth of Christ, served the King of Chu(楚怀王)during the Warring States period. As a loyal minister(大臣), Chu Yuan at first enjoyed the full confidence and respect of his sovereign(君主). Eventually, through the intrigues of his rivals, he was discredited(不足信的, 不名誉的).

Chu Yuan was never able to regain(恢复) the emperors favor and on the fifth day of the fifth moon in the year 295 B.C.(Before Christ), at the age of 37, Chu Yuan clasped a stone to his chest and plunged into the Milo River(汨罗江) in the Hunan Province(湖南省).

Last year, I could not celebrate the festival with my family because I was in university. However, this special day left a deep impression on me.

I still remember the atmosphere of that evening. All the students who could not go back home assembled in our classroom, having a party to celebrate this traditional festival. 中秋节，人们大都喜欢赏月，我给妈妈要了一个月饼，我们一边吃，一遍赏月。我也情不自禁的唱起了《中秋歌》：“中秋节啊月儿圆呀，也有为我大阅兵呀”。爸爸说：“今天的月亮好圆啊”，我接着回答说：“圆的像个大玉盘”，哥哥吃着月饼笑着说：“恩，今天的夜空好亮啊，我仿佛看到了嫦娥在跳舞，玉兔在玩耍”。

晚上，我们一家人带着甜蜜的笑容进入了梦乡!

这就是我最喜欢的传统节日，中秋节!

在中国有许许多多的传统节日：每个节日都有着不同的习俗，中秋节也不例外。说到中秋节的风俗习惯，多得可以装满一箩筐！

离中秋还有一段时间，生产月饼的厂家、商家就已经忙得热火朝天了。月饼的广告也各种各样，有的画着一位明星正在津津有味地吃月饼，有的写着一副对联：“海上生明月，天涯共此时。”横批为：”花好月圆“；还有的干脆把月饼切开，露出”迷人的笑脸“，馋得人们口水直流。超市、商场里的月饼更是琳琅满目，有肉的、蟹黄的、芙蓉的，应有尽有。菜场里的芋头，也成”吉祥物“了，芋头不尽好吃，还表示”年年有余“呢！

晚上，圆圆的月亮像”玉盘“一样照在人们脸上、头上，使人们回想起，以往的一切美好的时光！

中秋节是个团圆的节日，所以每年的中秋节我们都是在外婆家过的，外婆家是我最喜欢去的地方了，因为有很多好吃的，还有姐姐们陪我玩。

下午，我洗完澡，穿上我最喜欢的连衣裙就去外婆家了。

外婆家可真是热闹，大姨、舅舅、姐姐们早已在那里了。

房间里有一张大大的圆桌子，上面已经摆上了梨子、葡萄、西瓜等许多我喜欢吃的东西。姐姐带我去超市买饮料，我拿了一瓶冰红茶。不久，我们大家就围着这张大大的圆桌子，高高兴兴、说说笑笑地吃了起来。这时我的肚子也真的有点饿了，看到桌子上有这么多好吃的东西，我就猛吃起来。没多久，我的小肚皮就鼓起来了。第一个下去的是我的表姐，第二个就是我了。不过我可只是暂时离开餐桌，呆会儿上菜，我可是还要回到餐桌上去吃的。就这样，我们一家人在外婆家过了一个非常快乐的中秋之夜。

中秋节这天，外婆请我们到她家去吃晚饭。妈妈说本该是一家人围着桌子可以边吃饭边赏月，可是，中秋的夜晚正下着大雨，看不到月亮。而我们在外婆家吃的这餐团圆饭却异常的有滋味，因为其中有一道菜的一部分，是我和姐姐的杰作。

我们一到外婆家，就看见外婆系着围裙，在厨房里忙得不亦乐乎，外婆看到我们来了非常高兴，招呼我们先吃大闸蟹，她说：“我还有一道没做的菜，等做好了你们一定喜欢。”这时，我和姐姐跟着外婆进了厨房，外婆看到我们便说：“我现在要开油锅了，快出去吧……”可我和姐姐赖着不走，想看看外婆的手艺，经我们再三央求，外婆终于同意了让我们看她烧菜。

外婆做的这道菜叫“两面黄”，外婆先放了一勺油，然后再将已经烧熟的面条放了进去，等面条变黄了给它翻个身。我们看外婆一手拿勺子，一手拿锅柄，轻轻往上一挑，“两面黄”就翻了一个身，我和姐姐觉得太有趣了，争先恐后地抢着去翻，外婆在旁边叫我们不要抢，最终我和姐姐用石头剪子布来决定谁先翻，我出剪刀，姐姐出布，哈哈我赢了。

于是我迫不及待得去翻“两面黄”，外婆对我说：“小心点，别烫着！”于是我小心翼翼地去翻，但滚烫的油还是溅到了我的手上，我“哇”的一声叫开了，外婆见状，赶快用冷水帮我冲洗，当然，我跑出厨房，让位给了姐姐。有着我们三个人功劳的“两面黄”终于端上了菜桌。看到这份蓬松微黄的面条，我不禁垂涎欲滴，夹一筷送进嘴里，脆脆香香的，真好吃！这次的中秋节，我学会了做一道菜，真是收获不小啊。

农历八月十五中秋节，我、爸爸和妈妈兴高采烈地来到外婆家过节。

一路上，秋色宜人，我看到了一丛丛红彤彤的一串红，像一团团燃烧的火焰；原野里稻子披上了金袍，在微风的吹拂下摇着头， “沙沙”地唱着欢乐的歌曲；树叶也变黄了，慢慢从树上飘下来，像金色的蝴蝶在跳舞。

真是目不暇接！不一会儿，我们就来到了外婆家。

哥哥早就到了，我们俩一见面就要下象棋，可是，象棋没有带，怎么办呢？我看到哥哥刚刚收获的好多葫芦，眼珠骨碌一转，说：“我们来下葫芦象棋吧！”哥哥连声叫好！我们把葫芦当棋子，用水泥地作棋盘，把最小的葫芦作小兵，最大的作将军。

开始下了，我先架起了当头炮，哥哥就马来跳。刹那间杀声震天，我们都各不相让。哥哥喜欢吃对方的子，我每走一步都想着吃掉对方的将军。这时，“贪吃”的哥哥得意洋洋地跳起马吃掉我的小兵。我暗自高兴，机会来了，赶快用炮吃了哥哥的将军！哥哥一看，败局已定，赖皮地说：“这局不算！这局不算！”我立刻大声说：“落子无悔！哈哈，我赢了！”哥哥一听，无话可说，只好甘拜下风了。

今年这个中秋节因为和哥哥下“葫芦象棋”变得更加有趣了！

今天，是一年一度的元旦，我们大家都很开心，心情也是十分激动。

我们大家一直等到下午吃完饭，然后就打算看元旦节目了，不过，在这之前，我们年级开了一个小会，一开始唱了会儿歌，然后就说了说元旦的注意事项。马上，我们就踏着轻盈的脚步，哼着欢快的歌曲，进餐厅了。

到了餐厅，老师安排好座位之后，倒数5个数之后精彩元旦就马上开始了。第一个是《英华畅想曲》，上面有一大群的人，有那小提琴的、吹笛子的、弹琴的……有很多的人，还有智慧的老师在最前面指挥。很快，这美妙的歌曲慢慢就过去了。很快就过去了很多舞蹈，有《木兰辞》、《我和小鸟拉钩钩》、《辣妞妞》……很快，我们屏住气息，很快就轮到了——我们班的舞蹈《吉祥孔雀》——之前老师还让我们看过原版的。

我们班张玄仪在里面是主演，还有我们班的赵高沐、李诗同、申晓雪，还有其他班的人在里面演。很快，美妙的旋律开始了，舞台上灯光满面。演员们化着妆，穿着绿色的孔雀衣服。台面上一眼望去，一片绿色。舞姿慢慢的舞动起来。舞台上仿佛拥有魔术一般，把大家看的眼珠子一动不动。很快一片热烈的声音响起，十分响亮。很快进入了高潮，一片片“孔雀”翩翩起舞，尾巴上的点点光闪亮动人。很快就结束了。元旦也很快就结束了。

今天真是开心的元旦啊!

Today isMid-autumn Day. I have a big meal at home with my parents and relatives. This isan important festival, so my mother was busy with preparing the dinner frommorning. 我最喜欢的节日是中秋节。中秋节是我国的传统佳节，与春节、端午、清明并称为中国汉族的四大传统节日。它起源于唐朝时期，那时，以赏月为中心。到了清明时期，成为"民俗大节"。

中秋节那天晚上，我们一家人就要团团圆圆在一起赏月，吃月饼，看电视上的《中秋晚会》。去年的中秋节，我们一家人团聚在一起，说说笑笑，可开心了。在这月圆之夜，我们分享着美味的月饼，月饼象征团圆，是中秋祭月和拜土地公的必备祭品。那天的月亮虽没有往年的中秋节那么亮。不过，也挺美的。月亮时而像一位害羞的少女，风哥哥夸她几句，就躲到云层后面，蒙上一层细纱，显得更加娇气，真迷人;时而又像一个调皮的孩子，把脸露出来偷看我们过节呢!真好玩!

每到中秋节，我总是想起我小时候的一件事。那时，妈妈经常给我讲嫦娥奔月的成语故事。我听了许多遍，可还是听不烦。只要是关于月亮上的故事我就觉得新奇，希望有一天我也能飞上天去，飞到月球上与嫦娥一起玩，一起看星星。长大再看，就不是那么奇妙了，只觉得我小时候挺好玩的，挺好笑的。

中秋节的地位仅次于春节，元宵节。中秋节为"花好月圆"之时。人们从天上那圆圆的月亮想到了人间的团圆。因此，中秋节在古代被又称为"团圆节"，"秋节"等。人们向往着团团圆圆。团圆对于中国人来说是生活中的理想。宋朝诗人苏轼写的《水调歌头》中，

"但愿人长久，千里共婵娟"这句诗也寄托了人们的美好愿望。中秋节十分重视亲情的培育与表达，对于促进社会和谐有着不可替代的好作用。我非常喜欢中秋节。
