面对一个话题，考生之所以无法写出连贯的文字，是因为缺少写作素材。那么素材是什么呢？其实也就是我们所说的“言之有物”中的“物”。无论是四、六级写作，还是考研写作，或是雅思、托福、GRE、GMAT、SAT写作，考生之所以无法取得高分，根本原因在于其日常积累的英文论证素材以及论据素材过于贫乏，根本无法将零星散落于大脑各个角落不成体系的素材组合起来，形成一篇逻辑严密、语言优美地道的文章。因此，英文素材的积累和素材库的建立可以真正帮助中国英语学习者和广大英语考生提高写作能力，走出英文表达困境。

正如前面所提到的，英语写作素材包含两类：一类是论证素材，即对于论点进行理论分析的素材。例如：论证竞争机制的重要性、论证环境保护的必要性、论证艺术的价值等。一类是论据素材，即可支持论点的相关事例。例如：“钻石教父”雷维夫与DeBeers公司的竞争促进了整个钻石行业的发展这一事例，可用来支持“竞争机制的重要性”的论证；引用美国政府参与环境保护的例子可佐证“环境保护的必要性”；贝多芬、巴赫、凡高的例子可说明伟大的艺术家们的艺术作品是如何推动人类文明发展的，并用以例证“艺术的价值”。

其实，只要多掌握适用于写作测试的英文写作素材（论证素材+论据素材），就已经为写出有理有据的文章打下了良好的基础，这也是写作的前提。因为，任何语言学习，或者说任何学习过程，都遵循“输入—输出”模式。如果没有输入，则永远不可能有输出；若没有好的输入，则永远不可能有好的输出。因此，语言学习有一条永恒不变的真理：不听永远不会说，不读永远不会写。这里的“听”和“读”就是输入环节，“说”和“写”就是输出环节；只有输入了好的英文素材，才能在需要的地方进行输出。

首先，碎片化的生活，不管一个人的能力再强，对于同时忙好几件事情和只专注于一件事情相比，多多少少都会有所不同，可能好可能坏，这也许是因人而异的，但是他让我们无法保持一颗平静的心去看待问题也是问题所在。我想它对于我们的影响可能我们无法用眼睛看到，用手去触碰到，但是这影响一定是巨大的，大到也许可以改变一个人的性格，改变他的处事态度，改变一个人的生活，这些在理论上都是十分有可能的，也没有科学家可以用一次实验结果或者一个物理模型来推翻这种假设，

所以，我们一定不能脱离社会是肯定的，正是由于社会的存在，人才被叫做高阶灵长类生物，但是时代对于我们的影响，我们应该努力的降到最低，让我们的生活在碎片化的前提下变得不那么的碎片化，让我们为人处世的个性在其他人都变的浮躁的情况下变的不那么的浮躁，碎片化的产生是我们无力改变的，这是大时代背景下的大势所趋，不是我们一己之力可以改变的了的，我们要做的就是努力保持初衷，让碎片化的生活融入我们的生活的同时可以对我们有所益处而不是一味的让我们变得糟糕，让我们用自己的坚持来让自己变得更加能适应时代的需要，更加的能够适应碎片化的生活，更加的优秀！

First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going to different libraries. Also, the information can be dated back in decades ago. It is very helpful to use those information as reference and historical proof. In the library, it is hard to find so much "old" information. Another advantage to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. It is much more convenience to me because I can stay warm to have class in the winter time instead of spending two hours on the bus and physically attend class. In addition, Internet provides me a better way to communicate with my friends and professors. I can get response from my professor in a few minutes instead of waiting outside of his door for hours. Some of my friends are living in a foreign countries, I can simply just drop him an email whenever I can and get a message from him very quick. It is much better than waiting for letters.
