On the Losing of Traditional Culture

It is widely noted that lots of traditional culture is disappearing along with the development of technology. Many ancient architectures and traditional ways of living have been deserted. It seems that the traditional culture and craftsmanship will be replaced in this modern era.

The following reasons can account for the above phenomenon. Firstly, traditional technologies are always considered ineffective while the new sciences are always highly efficient. Secondly, it is costly to protect the traditional culture. If the fund used to protect the ancient culture was instead delivered to the poor, it will be helpful to the improvement of their living standard. Thirdly, modern science and technology facilitate both our daily and academic life a lot. For instance, college students always collect their thesis materials by surfing the Internet instead of borrowing books from the library.

In my opinion, although traditional culture is an ancient heritage, it couldn’t keep pace with the development of society. It is the tide of history that the traditional culture and technology will no doubt be eliminated in the end.

何老师是我原来的班主任，他的脸圆圆的，身子有点胖乎乎，他的那双又小又灵敏的眼睛是那么的炯炯有神，他上起课来呀，真是的没有一个人不听得入迷，但是，如果有谁在他上课时讲空话的话，那后果可想而知，那个人就“死惨了！”

一天，我们得到了消息——每个班都要准备一场表演，我们班打算表演“鼓舞飞扬”。何老师在我们班中选了又选，最终挑选了七男七女，因为演出时间紧，所以何老师趁双休日、傍晚放学等时间为我们进行了“魔鬼式训练”，我们的进步突飞猛进，一天比一天好。

就在今天，我们就要比赛了，也就是说，今天，比赛成果就要出来了，我们摒住了呼吸、张大了耳朵，等主持人宣布比赛结果。主持人不紧不慢地报出“105班”，这可是我们万万没想到的——我们竟然得到了第一名，兴奋的我们久久不能静下心来。

上天真的很公平，我们辛苦了那么久，总算有了点回报。我们受到了老师的表扬，也收到了家长给我们的礼物和赞许。在这段时间中，我们每一个演员的脸上都笑得十分灿烂！

多亏何老师让我们取得了这么好的成绩啊！

在这几天里，有一个老师给我留下了深刻的老师。

这位老师就是我的英语老师。她的鼻梁高高的，眼睛乌黑发光，长睫毛；金色的卷发从太阳穴下面垂下来，美丽极了。老师在课上，认真讲课，详细给我们大家讲一些重点和难题，还让我们现场进行对话表演。

有一次，老师叫我起来和他进行一次问候语的对话，就只是打几个招呼，问候一下他人而已，很简单。只要听清楚老师说的是什么意思，根据意思来回答就可以了。我就是这个样子去做的。老师还说我做的很好。very good!使我感到了学习英语也不困难。

老师还会自己想一些，有趣、好玩的学习方法，来增加我们的记忆力。在前几天，我们学习了英语26个字母中的5个元音字母，这五个元音字母分别是：A E I O U老师让我们把这五个元音字母写在左手的第一关节上面，大拇指——A，食指——E，中指——I，无名指——O，小拇指—— U，这样老师让我们看着左手上写的五个元音字母，教我们一个一个的读，等我们大家都读熟了以后，老师让我们看着手的另一面，老师随便读一个元音字母，我们就把字母对应的那个手指头伸出来。就这个样子我把这五个元音字母记得牢牢的。

老师还教我们怎样更快的记住单词地方法，用单词的音和意思来记住这个单词。还有教了我们一些字母组合，通过这些字母组合 ，可以很快地读出这些单词的读音，方便极了。

我喜欢这一位英语老师，我原来不太喜欢英语，通过这几天老师的指教，我渐渐对英语产生了兴趣。我还要对英语老师说几句话：“谢谢您老师，我一定不会辜负您对我的期望。”

这就是我的英语老师。

People always say that love from father is as strong as the mountain, which

gives us the great strength to move on. In Chinese traditional role, father is

described to be a quiet man but the way he loves you can be seen all the time,

while love from western father are much obvious. There always hug and kiss

between children and parents. My father is a classic quiet father. He doesnt

talk much, but he will never miss any moment that is important for me. When I

have performance in school, he must be one of the audience, no matter how busy

he is. Before I sleep, he will help me check on my homework. I love my

father.

Dear Miss Wang:

I am writing to express my sinceregratitude for your help in my study. Without your help , my study would not bethe top three in my class. It was you who always standed by me when I am fall.You pointed my mistakes and told me how to make them right. You always workedtirelessly to train my patience.Your continuous encouragement is my greatestmotivation.

I sincerely hope that you can have a goodhealth and stay happy. In addition, I wonder if you can pay a lot of attentionto your health, get more rest.
