“一片甲骨惊世界”。1899年甲骨文的发现不但结束了仓颉造字的神话，也使一个普普通通的名不见经传的小屯村举世闻名。随着对安阳殷墟的全面发掘，一个古老王朝的都城遗址及光辉灿烂的殷商文化昭然于世。殷墟，是商朝后朝的文化遗址，位于安阳市的西北郊。它的范围是以小屯村为中心，包括分散在村北和村西洹河两岸的一些地方。据史书记载和夏商周断代工程断定，公元前1300年，商朝第20位国王盘庚把都城由山东“奄”(今曲阜)迁到“殷”(今安阳小屯)，并在此建立都城，经历8代12王，共254年。从此，这里成为殷商王朝政治、文化、经济的中心。到公元前1046年，周武王伐纣来商以后，这片土地逐渐荒芜，变成了一片废墟，史称“殷墟”。

So I decided to read this novel, at the beginning, I could not figure out the characters, because there were too much characters.
