示例一：

“客人年过半百，瘦削，脸上皱纹不很多，却深，尤其额上和眼角的几道，形似刀刻。

〔点评〕这里作者用了简笔勾勒的手法出一位无赖的丑恶嘴脸。

〔点评〕呈现在我们面前的是一张面目可憎、让人生厌的嘴脸，为了使自己的厌恶之情淋漓尽致地表达出来，为了使这张肉麻的面孔活灵活现凸现在读者面前，作者连用一串比喻，在肖像的勾画中，作者强烈的情感倾向溢于言表，让读者对其面目产生无限的遐想。 示例四：

“孩子不足两岁，塌鼻子，眼睛两条斜缝，眉毛高高在上，跟眼睛远隔得彼此要害相思病，活像报上讽刺画里中国人的脸。”

〔点评〕眉毛与眼睛天各一方，空作牛郎织女之叹，令人忍俊不禁，拊掌叫绝，没有如此新颖别致的夸张，很难有如此强烈的艺术效果。

“……行者见罗敷，下担捋髭须。少年见罗敷，脱帽著绡头。耕者忘其犁，锄者忘其锄。来归相怒怨，但坐观罗敷。”

四、在实际生活中，由于每个人的出身、职业、地位、教养、经历、性格的不同，必然在人物的外形上留下不同的痕迹，肖像与性格有着紧密的内在联系。 所以，我们在写作时要注意总结以下几点：

根据人物的职业身份、社会地位的不同，我们写什么样的人就应该像什么样的人。范例：

王蒙在《青春万岁》中这样描写一位教师――袁闻道

他浑身――头发上、鼻子上、耳朵上、眼镜、衣服上都 沾满了粉笔灰，他也不掸掸。他曾经对别人说笑话：“等我死了，解剖开，把粉笔灰抖出来，足可以再造三打粉笔。”他显得很衰弱，脸上布满皱纹。用他的话就是布满了“山脉河流”。但由于做教师，他腰板挺得很直，而且嗓门洪亮，说话拉长音，声音抑扬顿挫，从第一排到最后一排都听得清楚。

2、运用“特写镜头”通过局部细节的描写来突出人物的个性。

在文学创作中，作者可以抓住人物具有特征性的某一部分，诸如眼、眉毛、鼻子、嘴、手等进行细致的描写。
