寒假的时候，我读了一本书，书名叫做《和动物园做邻居》。书中写了一个叫秦有友的老爷爷对整天摆弄电脑、手机的小孙子讲述自己快乐童年的故事。

老爷爷说，那时候没有手机、没有电脑，每天放学后都会去庙会看各种各样的杂技，吃美味的小吃。在与开动物园的李小桂成为好朋友后与各种小动物，尤其是一只叫“露露”的小猩猩之间发生的有趣的事情。

当我合上书的时候，眼前仿佛也出现了热闹的庙会，香气扑鼻的小吃，可爱的小动物，心中激动不已。我问妈妈:妈妈小时候是怎样度过的?妈妈说，在她小的时候，没有这么多高楼大厦，马路上也没有这么多汽车，放学后，妈妈会和好多小朋友在胡同里、在操场上跳皮筋、跳格子、丢沙包……晚上会看满天的星星。冬天打雪仗，夏天捉萤火虫……听了妈妈的话，也让我羡慕不已。想想现在，放学后小朋友各回各家，娱乐似乎只剩下手机游戏。蓝天越来越少，绿地越来越少，小动物越来越少，甚至人与人之间的沟通也越来越少。我真想拥有一个和秦有友、和妈妈一样的童年。

这两天，抽出时间读了读《和动物园做邻居》这本书。这本书讲诉了一位爷爷小时候的精彩故事。爷爷虽然其貌不扬也没有特别之处，但却是大家都羡慕的同学。因为爷爷家住在城隍庙附近，在大家眼里那里是最有趣最好玩的地方!爷爷三年级的时候，附近居然搬来一个动物园，巧的是这个动物园是他同学阿桂桂的爸爸开的。爷爷从此成为了动物园第一个免费小游客，并且和这里的小动物们成为了好朋友，尤其是和一个叫露露的小猩猩建立了深厚的友谊。然而突然有一天阿桂桂的爸爸要卖掉这只叫露露的小猩猩，于是爷爷和阿桂桂合伙把小猩猩给藏了起来。最后他们的举动感动了父母，成功留住那只可爱的小猩猩。

读完这本书之后，我内心特别复杂。书中爷爷的童年才是真正快乐的童年，感动于爷爷童年时的天真纯朴富有爱心和小动物之间也能建立真诚的友谊，并为此违背父母的意愿保护自己的朋友。也为当代的小朋友感到悲哀，正如书中爷爷所说“因为你很可怜”。

我的童年是在乡村度过，无论何时那快乐的童年依然历历在目。村口的大水塘、打麦场、小河、学校、还有家里那头老黄牛都或浓或淡的出现在了我的记忆里，无忧无虑的日子总有许许多多快乐的往事和数不清的故事。少年不知愁，快乐才应该是童年永恒的话题。我真心的希望在社会进步的今天，童年和快乐也能时时围绕在孩子身边。

可是把目光投向孩子们时，惊奇的发现学习、考试、辅导班、电视、游戏、网吧正在包围着孩子们的童年，吞噬着他们童年的快乐!快乐正在离孩子们的“童年”远去。我希望我们的社会在给孩子吃饱穿暖的同时，也给他们一个真正快乐的童年。我们不要考试分数化的“童年”，也不要困在笼子里的“童年”，更不要成人化的“童年”。还孩子们一个自由快乐的童年吧!

读完《和动物园做邻居》，使我不禁想起自己曾经养的两只小鸭子，黄的公;黑的母。小两口生活的无比逍遥。白天他们在草丛中抓虫吃;玩捉迷藏。晚上，它们依偎在温馨的小窝中“叽呱叽呱”地讲述着白天发生的新鲜事。眨眼间，它们都长成了“美女、帅小伙”。可好景不长，不知是哪个混蛋趁我不在的时候，把我心爱的小母鸭玩死了。爷爷看见了，却没来得及拦住，也说不清是谁。我如果知道，绝对不会放过他。小公鸭肯定是受不了这么大的打击，一气之下跑到村外去了，从此再也没回来过，我伤心的哭了一晚，为什么人们不可以和动物友好相处呢?
