Animals are natural resources that people have wasted all through our history. Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. Why should people careBecause we need animals, and because once they are gone, there will never be any more. Animals are more than just beautiful or interesting. farmers killed large numbers of hawks, the farmers stores of corn and grain were destroyed by rats and mice. WhyBecause hawks eat rats and mice, with no hawks to keep down their numbers, the rats and mice multiplied quickly.

Luckily, some people are working to help save the animals. Some groups raise money to let people know about the problem. And they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger. Quite a few countries have passed laws. These laws forbid the killing of any animal or plant on the danger list. Slowly, the number of some animals in danger is growing.

在水生态保护方面，国家应该加强监管，消除污染源。不要在江河里高密度养殖鱼虾等。人们平时不要把污水和垃圾导入河中。如此，江河湖泊就不会被污染。如果没有水的污染，水资源就不会有很大的短缺了。

节约水资源方面，首先，我建议学校的厕所要改造，改成节水型的。一所学校一年可以节省成千上万吨水。

其次家庭每天用水量最大的就是马桶了，多按一次就是多用掉大约6～9升水，所以，我们一般不要轻易按，先把攒下的用来冲厕所的水用掉。

洗脸水用后可以洗脚，然后冲厕所;家中应预备一个收集废水的大桶，将洗衣等生活废水收集起来，用作冲厕、拖地等，如此，一个三口之家每月可节水1吨左右。

The Dragon Boat Festival is a lunar (阴历)holiday, occurring (存正)on the fifth

festival.During the holiday of Dragon Boat Festival,I got together with my

(疾病) for the rest of the year. It is done so by different practices such as

hanging healthy herbs on the front door, drinking nutritious concoctions (营养品),

and displaying (展示) portraits (画像) of evils nemesis(邪恶报应), Chung Kuei. If one

following year will be a lucky one.

Today, people eat bamboo-wrapped steamed glutinous(粘的) rice dumplings
