Today is the first day of the New Year, the morning of fresh air and

sunshine, mother took me to feel the New Years day outside the atmosphere.

In my hometown, the air is polluted seriously. However, in recent years,

the pollution gets from bad to worse, because of the increasing number of

private cars. Especially during the rush hours, too many private vehicles move

slowly on narrow roads, emitting a large amount of waste gas. Moreover, the

poisonous gas sent by the nearby factories is also one of the main causes of

pollution. Therefore, it’s demanded that immediate and effective measures must

be taken to restrict private cars and public transportation must be developed to

the largest extent. Besides, we should use renewable and clean energy

With the development of technology, today, our life is facilitated with all kinds information sources. We can read books on the Internet, which is much convenient than buying the books in the stores. My sister was fond of traveling. Ever since graduating, she had been

determined to organize a trip to an old temple. Since transporting fare was

expensive, she decided to use a bicycle to cycle there not caring about the

disadvantages. Her stubborn attitude was always her shortcoming. Once she made

up her mind to do something, no one could persuade her to change her mind.

Finally, we gave in as usual though we preferred to take a train. After we

In our daily lives, we have many choices to make, such as what to eat for supper,what clothes to wear, or what to do on weekends. 质量可以改变时间。这一点可能大部分人都不清楚，质量越大的物体，在它旁边物体的时间就会流逝的越慢，这种差距在地球上微小的如同发丝一般，若想有极其明显的现象的话，质量必须非常大。还是举一个通俗的例子，若有一个比太阳的质量还要大500万倍的物体，一个人站在它的旁边，另一个人站在离它非常遥远的地方，相当于好几千光年左右的距离，这时两人同时开始计时，当同时停止计时时，在这个质量巨大的物体旁边的人计时器中的时间会比另一个人计时器中的时间慢。伟大的物理学家和预言家霍金认为宇宙中质量巨大的黑洞就是能进行时间旅行的工具，从上述讲的来看，这种想法未必是不现实的。

已经三年了，其实有些想念以前的英语老师。她对我们很好，我们也都喜欢她，每隔一周老师就会给我们放英文电影，看电影的同时还能学学口语和发音。

老师上课的时候也很认真，语法讲的也很详细，以前的英语笔记我现在也保存着，厚厚的一本，也可以算是我的宝典了吧，老师每讲一课单词，都会拓展，每周周三和周五是固定的考单词的日子，老师会叫两名同学在黑板上写，每桌写一次，如果座位上的同学抬头看了黑板就不用继续考了，就直接补考，老师的补考就是晚自习的时候在走廊里听写。

虽然她要求的严了一些，但是那段时间我的英语成绩确实很好，只要跟住老师，英语成绩就不会差，后来老师因为教的好，被别的学校挖走了。

不知道她现在怎么样，如果我看见她的话，一定会大声喊“英语老师！”
