作家李准说：“没有细节就不可能有艺术品。”简言之，细节是指文学作品中描绘人物、事件或环境的最小组成单位。所谓细节描写就是对细节的刻画，是对人物的外貌、行动、心理、语言或周围事物、环境的某一细微特征所进行的具体而细致的描绘。它是文学作品完整地描绘人物性格、事件发展和环境、景物不可缺少的手段。在文学作品中细节描写常见的作用表现如下：

（一）突出人物鲜明的个性特点

在文学作品中，细节描写是最生动、最有表现力的人物塑造方法，往往用极精彩的笔墨将人物的真善美和假丑恶和盘托出，让读者欣赏评价。要突出人物鲜明的个性特点，就要采用多种恰当的方法，对人物进行细腻传神的描写。

1．写外貌，应力求写出人物的风度、气质与神韵。

“哈！这模样了！胡子这么长了！”一种尖利的怪声突然大叫起来。我吃了一吓，赶忙抬起头，却见一个凸颧骨，薄嘴唇，五十岁上下的女人站在我面前，两手搭在髀间，没有系裙，张着两脚，正像一个画图仪器里细脚伶仃的圆规。

这是鲁迅《故乡》里的杨二嫂。作者运用肖像描写、细节描写，把杨二嫂尖酸、刻薄的形象刻画得生动传神，从而也揭露了封建社会的毒害之深。在她这里，一切都是夸大了的，是根据自己的实利考虑变了形的。她一出场，发出的就是一种“尖利的怪声”“突然大叫”，这是她不感惊奇而故作惊奇的结果。她的面貌特征也是在长期不自然的生活状态中形成的。她一生只练就了一个“薄嘴唇”“能说会道”，脸相却迅速衰老下来，只留下一个“凸颧骨”，没有了当年的风韵。她的站姿也是不自然的，故意装出一副不可一世的样子，实际上她早已失去了自己的自信心，失去了做人的骄傲，但又希望别人看得起她、尊重她。

2．写语言，应揣摩人物说话的语气、语态，让个性化的语言充分展示人物性格特征。吴敬梓的《范进中举》中有两段非常好的细节描写：

范进因没有盘缠，走去同丈人商议，被胡屠户一口啐在脸上，骂了一个狗血喷头，道：“不要失了你的时了！你自己只觉得中了一个相公，就‘癞蛤蟆想吃起天鹅肉’来！我听见人说，就是中相公，也不是你的文章，??像你这尖嘴猴腮，也该撒泡尿自己照照！不三不四，就想天鹅屁吃！??”

胡屠夫作难道：“虽然是我女婿，如今却做了老爷，就是天上的星宿。天上的星宿是打不得的！??我却是不敢做这样的事！”

这两处语言描写，把胡屠户一副无耻的嘴脸刻画得十分逼真。既有前面臭骂范进尖

嘴猴腮的话，也有才学又高、品貌又好的赞扬。把“小女在家长到三十多岁”一提，胡屠户的话越发显得不知羞耻。

3．写动作，应精选动词，对其行动过程进行生动的描摹。朱自清的《背影》里有一段父亲买橘的动作描写：

我看见他戴着黑布小帽，穿着黑布大马褂，深青布棉袍，蹒跚地走到铁道边，慢慢探身下去，尚不大难。可是他穿过铁道，要爬上那边月台，就不容易了。他用两手攀着上面，两脚再向上缩；他肥胖的身子向左微倾，显出努力的样子。

这段文字作者运用了“探”“穿”“爬”“攀”“缩”“倾”六个动词，生动形象、细致入微地表现了父亲买橘时穿越铁路、攀爬月台的艰难和努力，衬托了父爱的伟大。

4．写神态，应抓住人物的面部表情进行生动的描摹。

(1)表现不安。如《孔乙己》中的一段神态描写：

他们便接着说道，“你怎么连半个秀才也捞不到呢？”孔乙己立刻显出颓唐不安模样，脸上笼上了一层灰色。

孔乙己深怀科举失败的隐痛，不幸这隐痛又被别人戳到，他那点可怜的自尊簌簌跌落。这里的神态描写生动细腻地刻画出他内心隐痛被戳到时的痉挛、挣扎。

(2)表现悲愤。如茹志娟《百合花》中对新媳妇的描写：

新媳妇这时脸发白，劈手夺过被子，狠狠地瞪了他们一眼。自己动手把半条被子平展展地铺在棺材底，半条盖在他身上。

(3)表现惊恐。如《我的叔叔于勒》中写菲利普夫妇得知卖牡蛎的老水手是于勒时的神态：

（二）推动故事情节发展

契诃夫《变色龙》中的“军大衣”是沙皇警犬的特殊标志，是奥楚蔑洛夫身份的象征，是他装腔作势、用以吓人的工具。文中四次提到“军大衣”，而“脱”大衣的动作表现的不是天气热，而是“判”错了狗、急得浑身冒汗的胆怯心理。“穿”大衣的动作表现的不是天气冷，而是遮掩因辱骂将军而心冷胆寒的心理。一“脱”一“穿”的细节，不仅勾勒出这个狐假虎威、欺下媚上的沙皇走狗的丑态，而且也推动了故事情节的发展。

（三）使主旨得以升华

文学作品中人称的变化这一细节也能深化主题，如鲁迅的《故乡》中有一个细节，就是鲁迅回到家见到闰土那一瞬间，闰土“态度终于恭敬起来，分明地叫道：‘老爷’！”这个细节使作品大放异彩，主题也因此更为深刻。另外，人物的衣饰也能折射出时代的背景。《孔乙己》中对孔乙己衣饰的描写：“穿的虽然是长衫，可是又脏又破，似乎十多年没有补，也没有洗。”这段描写，抓住了“长衫”这一典型细节，穿长衫是科举时代读书人的象征，而孔乙己的长衫却“又脏又破”，一个穷困潦倒的、迂腐的封建社会知识分子形象就活现在我们眼前，也由此可见封建科举制度对知识分子的愚弄和毒害。由孔乙己的破长衫而认识到封建科举制对读书人的毒害，真可谓一叶一世界！

其实，古人也深悟细节生情之三昧。归有光《项脊轩志》中有归有光怀念早逝母亲的细节描写：“娘以指叩门扉曰：‘儿寒乎？欲食乎？’”这极普通的动作描写、极平常的生活话语，却如林纾所言：“震川之述老妪语，至琐细，至无关紧要，然自少失母之儿读之，匪不流涕矣。”

我听过、看过很多人写作的场合，有些在咖啡厅、有些在家中、有些在办公室，但我认为太密闭的空间，无法感受到自由的气息。于是，我尝试着把写作的场景，换到了海边，算是对于思想的另一种新的启迪。之前，我很担心户外的写作方式，会受到周边的行人、车辆的影响，但当我拿出笔记本，敲下一个个字的时候，我发现，我的内心却是异常的宁静。道路旁过往的鸣笛声、孩童们的吵闹声，都进不了我的心中，我内心仿佛有一层无形的隔音玻璃阻挡着一切外在的声音。我只感受到呼吸的声音和节奏，我只看到大海在舞蹈，我只看到草木在荡漾，我只听到大自然的声音在唤醒我沉睡的细胞。

如果世界一分为二的话，那么，我身前的大海是梦想的彼岸，身后的道路是现实的世界。有人扬帆起航，任凭风吹雨打，纵使陷入深海浩劫，仍然海阔天空。也有人逃脱不了世俗的绑架，在深夜的霓虹灯下，驱赶着忙碌的身体，摇晃着酒杯，在脚底下筑起一层层物质的泥土。两个世界，泾渭分明，一前一后，彼此遥望，也彼此更替和交换。

家乡的味道是什么?是春天遗爱湖公园里的花团锦簇，是夏天赤壁公园里池塘边的蛙鸣，是秋天望月堤旁桂花的甜香，是冬天龙王山上的银装素裹……哦!对于一个名副其实的‘吃货’来说，家乡的味道有罗田的糖炒板栗、红安的烤红薯、黄州的东坡肉……当然绝对不能少了外婆做的包子!

说起外婆做的包子，我忍不住要流口水了，那是我心目中最美的味道，它面皮筋道，肉质鲜美，一口咬下去是满嘴汤汁但决不油腻。这么好吃的包子是怎么做成的呢?为了满足我的口福之欲和一探究竟的好奇心，外婆让我参与了她做包子的过程。

外婆把做包子材料什么的都准备好了便忙活了起来。只见外婆先把肉放在菜板上用两把刀一上一下交替地剁，那声音极有节奏，眨眼间就剁好了一大盆肉泥了。然后加工包菜丁、红萝卜丁、生姜末等等配菜，将配料和肉沫调和成肉馅备用。

接下来就是和面了。外婆在面粉里加上适量的水和碱使劲地揉。面团和好后，外婆将面团搓成粗粗的条状，然后切成大小一致的小面团，在案板上上下移动面条，边移边切，以免切出来的面团粘连。接着用擀面杖将面团压成一张张面皮。整个过程如行云流水般一气呵成，我在一旁不由得惊叹外婆娴熟的手艺和速度。外婆也不无得意地说：“别看外婆年纪大，这速度可决不会比小年轻慢哦。”

开始包馅了。外婆把肉馅挑起放在面皮中间，再将面皮轻轻合拢，一边合一边捏，很快一个包子就成型了，边上出现了一圈大小一致的褶子，像展开的花瓣一样，真好看!

总算开始蒸包子了，等待的过程漫长难捱。我在旁边不停地转悠，从蒸笼里发出包子香味，早已让我按捺不住。外婆见我猴急的样子，慈爱的刮着我的鼻子笑眯眯地说：“瞧把我家的小馋猫给急成啥样了。”火候差不多了，外婆用筷子夹了一个给我先尝尝。我迫不及待地一口咬下去，外婆心疼地说：“慢点慢点，别烫着，别急!”

品尝着那回味无穷、齿颊留香的包子，我简直陶醉了。留在舌尖上的不仅仅是包子的味道，还有满满的爱的味道!，叫我一辈子也忘不了!

我们的学校，是一个美丽的大花园，在我们的“大花园”里，最让我难忘的就是小学部内花园的银杏树。

春天，银杏树抽出了嫩绿的枝叶，那应该是春天的音符吧!同学们在银杏树下正用放大镜观察那可爱的小蚂蚁呢!

夏天，银杏树长出了茂密的叶子，密密层层的枝叶把蓝天遮得严严实实的，下面的笑话各种各样：有红的、白的、黄的……真像一个美丽的大花坛啊!

秋天，叶子慢慢地变黄了，一片片如扇子的银杏叶，翩翩飞舞，好像不想离开银杏树妈妈的怀抱!同学们有的在树下捡树叶，有的正在玩“天女散落叶”，还有的把树叶做成标本……

冬天，银杏树脱光了全身的衣服，变得光秃秃的，好像一无所有了。哦，我明白了，原来银杏树妈妈要让给我们更多的温暖。
