In Chinese lunar calendar, July 7th is a romantic day for the young people,

which is called Qixi Festival that is also referred to the Chinese Valentine’s

Day. This festival has been the tradition and many young people celebrate it in

their own way. What’s more, the government listed Qixi Festival as the

intangible cultural heritage.

The origin of Qixi Festival is about a romantic story. It was said that in

the ancient time, a beautiful young lady who was an immortal came to the men’s

world. She fell in love with an ordinary man. But there was limitation between

immortal and human being, so they were separated by the lady’s parents. Their

love story moved a lot of people and the girl’s parents decided to let this

couple meet on July 7th every year.

Today, When Qixi Festival comes, the single ladies and men will try to ask

the one they like out. They want to have a date and show their likeness. So they

know each other’s heart if they say yes on that day. The romantic atmosphere can

be sensed everywhere and we are enjoying it.

Friendship is essential for the existence of society. People live in

communities and work in co-operation so that they could protect themselves from

nature. The successful accomplishment of any task calls for support from many

people. It’s the friends who are willing to help us. Friendship is a guarantee

of harmonious efforts.

In the widest sense, all people are friends. People live in a common

society, co-operating and helping each other directly or indirectly all the

time. From this respective, anyone could be a friend of others to a certain

degree. And it’s this kind of friendship that makes society harmonious though

competition is universal.

A friend in need is a friend indeed. Unfortunately, people are so complex

in the modern society due to various reasons. Sometimes, we don’t really know

who are our real friends. Adversity is the touchstone of friendship. That is to

say, in hard times, it is easy for us to test whether the friendship is ture or

not. No matter what happens, a true friend will never leave you alone and will

always be with you.

Since I was very small, I was very shy in the public place, so I always

avoided giving performance in front of so many people. Though I tried hard to

get over it in school, I still felt uneasy in the public place. When I came to

the job market, I realized that I must get over my fear, or I would lose my

stage.

I still remembered the horrible experience for my first interview. Early in

the morning, I got a called that I was given a chance to the job interview. I

felt so excited. When I came to the company, I found there were other six young

people competed with me, then I started to feel nervous. The employers asked us

to sit in the round table and introduced ourselves one by one. When it was my

turn, I lowed down my head and spoke in low voice. Then the employers continued

to let us give speeches in the stage. I lose confidence and made the horrible

performance.

This interview taught me a lesson that I must get over my fear, or I will

lose chances. So I practise hard and dare to stand in the stage.

妈妈说我：“从小到大都没勤过一天!”因为，我不爱劳动，只喜欢学习和体育。我总把学习放在第一位，把体育放在第二位，把劳动放在……，唉，也说不清它到底在几百位上。 Mom said: "I havent worked hard from childhood!" Because, I dont like labor, I just like to learn and sports.I always put learning first, put sports in the second place, and put labor in ..., alas, I cant tell whether it is in hundreds of places.

有一次，我们班要举行“野菜早餐”。同学们一放学，都拿着铲子，掂着篮子挖野菜了。择野菜、洗野菜，忙到了八、九点。第二天五点半就起床，开始下厨做野菜早餐了。我才没有他们那样辛苦呢!回家后悠哉悠哉地看电视，第二天，6：30才懒洋洋地起床。

到了学校一看，我的眼睛瞪得圆溜溜的，同学们都端来了自己的劳动成果，还给自己的菜起了个别致的名字：什么“五花八门”、“奇花异卉”、“国色天香”……五颜六色，造型别致，香气扑鼻，几乎个个都是美味佳肴啊!只有我空手而来，连一棵野菜都没有带来!哎，我只好吃同学们的了。

野菜早餐上，同学们相乎品尝劳动成果，欢声笑语充满了教室。你看，李丹拿着馍干，就着野菜吃得多香!张腾飞头趴在盘沿上把吃剩的菜汁“哧溜，哧溜”都吸到肚子里去了，吃饱的正在热烈地品评着谁的饭菜最香呢……我草草地填饱了肚皮，心里真不是滋味，没有任何劳动换来的美餐，让我羞愧难当!看到比我弱小许多的张培豫、肖梦手里端着自己的“杰作”时，我更是抬不起头来;没想到我这七尺男儿竟败在这些弱女子手里!唉，在别人享受着劳动快乐时，我却在经受着不劳而获的“煎熬”。暗下决心：一定要好好劳动。

很快，轮到我们班冲厕所了，我憋着一股子劲儿，不怕脏、不怕臭，冲在最前面。拿着管子冲墙壁，冲茅道……裤腿全湿了，都没有察觉……劳动下来，尽管浑身臭汗，但看到厕所光洁的墙壁心里美滋滋地真叫“甜”呀!原来劳动的味道这么美呀。

事后，同学们都说：“日头怎么从西边出来了?”纷纷喊我“小劳模”!我不好意思地笑了，心想以后要更好地劳动!老舍爷爷说：“劳动最有滋味!”这话真是一点不假呀，看到自己的劳动果实，真是比吃糖喝蜜还要甜呀。

in my eighteen years old. I come fromXiamen, which is a famous and beautiful

city. I strongly suggest you visiting there and I can be your guide if it’s

convenient. After three years’ hard work, I am so excited that I am finally

and I have many interests, such as playing basketball, football, and swimming,

人生中充满了盼望。有的人盼望放假;有的人盼望发工资;有的人则盼望家人团圆......而我最盼望着春节的到来。 Life is full of hope.Some people are looking forward to vacation; some people look forward to paying wages; some people look forward to family members reunion ... and I am most hopeful to come to the Spring Festival.

过春节时，我们不仅能体验到包饺子的乐趣，还能品尝到饺子的美味。每当春节来临，我就有机会凑热闹帮大人们包饺子。我先学着大人拿一点和好的面团，用擀面杖把面擀成厚薄适中的圆形，再把拌好的馅放上去，最后用面皮包上馅，捏一捏，就做成一个美味的饺子了，我看着自己包的饺子，口水都快流三千尺了，但我还是忍了忍馋劲儿，继续帮大人们包饺子。看着我亲手包的饺子一个又一个地横空出世，心里美滋滋的。我创造了它们，它们是否应该叫我“爸爸”?当饺子煮好时，看着那“光滑扁润”的饺子，我不禁垂涎三尺，品尝着自己包的饺子，心里甭提有多开心了。

过春节时能串串门，逛逛亲戚，快一年没怎么来往了，加深一下感情是很必要的。亲戚们还会给我压岁钱，虽然不多，但总也能买些书、文具和需要的东西。当然，也能偶尔买几本小人书，买一些早已心仪的小玩意，满足一下自己的欲望。让我们去看看小人书，玩玩小玩意，放松放松平时学习时紧张的心情。

在城市里，一年中只有春节期间才能放鞭炮和烟火，我们这些男孩子们能过过瘾了。

春节期间如果下雪的话，那就更妙不可言了。堆雪人、打雪仗是绝对免不了的!这可是我们最喜欢的游戏了!

对了，今年春节，我还打算去滑雪，我滑雪的技术很棒哦。你想不想跟我比一比呢?
