再仰天一看，天上满是烟花，各式各样、五彩缤纷的，有五颜六色合在一起的，还有紫色的、蓝色的、黄色的、红色的、绿色的……多种多样的烟花，有些人出来再远处看烟花是非常漂亮、美丽的，如果在近处看烟花又会有你不一样的景象，是非常壮观的，非常完美的。还有一些在放烟花的，“轰隆”一声一个五彩缤纷的.烟花飞上天空，“扑通”一下开了花，好像一朵花迅速地盛开，又迅速地凋谢一般。在大街上，还有许多商贩在卖东西，有卖烟花、爆竹的;有卖糖葫芦、烧烤的;还有卖各种款式灯笼的，琳琅满目令人目不暇接。人们都聚在一起，脸上都绽放着笑容。

看完灯之后，人们都回家了。在家里看元宵晚会，全家人坐在一起看晚会，一家人子啊一起讨论着哪个节目好，哪个节目不好，还在一起聊天，有愉快地不愉快地，全都说出来，其乐融融。

元宵节之夜是那么地美好，那么地愉快，那么地其乐融融，全家人在一起团团圆圆地都快乐啊!

With the approachment of life in university, choosing a suitable dorm becomes a hot topic among the freshmen.

As far as I am concerned, renting a flat close to the university will be a smarter choice. Compared with school dorm, although the cost of 800 yuan per month is an extra load for the parents, it gives you more freedom as you live alone. Brave and independent as I am, I will be satisfied with this way of live. In addition, while the school dorm only provides one restroom on each floor, I can enjoy a comfortable bath in the flat. The 15-Day Celebration of Chinese New Year.

The first day of the Lunar New Year is "the welcoming of the gods of the heavens and earth."Many people abstain from meat on the first day of the new year because it is believed that this will ensure long and happy lives for them.

On the second day, the Chinese pray to their ancestors as well as to all the gods. They are extra kind to dogs and feed them well as it is believed that the second day is the birthday of all dogs.

The third and fourth days are for the sons-in-laws to pay respect to their parents-in-law.

The fifth day is called Po Woo. On that day people stay home to welcome the God of Wealth. No one visits families and friends on the fifth day because it will bring both parties bad luck.

On the sixth to the 10th day, the Chinese visit their relatives and friends freely. They also visit the temples to pray for good fortune and health.

The seventh day of the New Year is the day for farmers to display their produce. These farmers make a drink from seven types of vegetables to celebrate the occasion. The seventh day is also considered the birthday of human beings. Noodles are eaten to promote longevity and raw fish for success.

On the eighth day the Fujian people have another family reunion dinner, and at midnight they pray to Tian Gong, the God of Heaven.

The ninth day is to make offerings to the Jade Emperor.

The 10th through the 12th are days that friends and relatives should be invited for dinner. After so much rich food, on the 13th day you should have simple rice congee and mustard greens (choi sum) to cleanse the system.

The 14th day should be for preparations to celebrate the Lantern Festival which is to be held on the 15th night.

开开心心的春节刚过，就迎来了热闹的元宵节。今天是星期五，我们学校开展了开开心心庆元宵的活动。

早晨，我还是像平常一样背着书包来到了学校，教学楼门口，，就看见上面挂着一个很大很红的灯笼。哦!他提醒我们—今天学校要开展庆元宵的活动，我们就开始布置教室了，挂着几只很大的灯笼，教室后面还贴着老虎的贴纸，门上贴着小辣椒和彩带，张灯结彩，终于等到了活动开始的时候，这次活动有两个内容。我们开始等一个活动，那就是个各小队说说有关元宵节的资料，听到各个小队的介绍，我学到了许多知识，又很有趣，我们小队上场了，我虽然没有上去，但是我也在心里为他们加油，我们小队讲完了，开始评比，虽然我们的投票率排在第三，我也为我们小队感到光荣。下一个活动内容是猜灯谜，同学们都坐在自己的位置上，看着打在投影屏幕上打出的灯谜，大家都争先恐后的举手抢答，答对了还有奖品呢!可是我总是落在人家，我刚想出来，就被其他同学抢猜了。

开开心心庆元宵活动在欢声笑语中结束。
