出乎意料的，爷爷只是捡起了篆刀，放回桌上，看着我，长叹了一声。不知为什么，我的愤懑平息了，取而代之的是莫名的悲伤，仿佛爷爷叹息里包含着的东西都传递到了我的心里。

“篆刻，不是人人都能学得好的。”沉默了很久的时空里，爷爷慢悠悠的声音响起，“你的眼底有股子韧性，这才选的你。篆刻，是在玉石上刻字，刀要硬，人要硬，心更要硬，要对自己下得了狠手。又不能只使蛮力，劲要使得妙才是。金石之道，刻出来的东西只能是玉石。”

爷爷说着，用篆刀在玉石上刻了三个字，把它给了我。如山心，如山心，我看着，默念着，仿佛懂得了什么。

手要稳，人要正，心要定，背要直。如今的我早已学有所成，爷爷也不总是板着脸，偶尔还颇为满意地看着我的篆刻作品。我知道，爷爷的心事放下来了——篆刻这本事，家里有个传人了。

古老的中国传统文化，是老祖宗传递下来的，身为后人，我们又怎能不去好好接手，再把它传递下去呢?这传递的何止是文化，更是属于一个民族的坚韧与正气。
