每当我们抬头望月，可见当中有些黑影，在我国便传说就是吴刚在伐桂。唐代，演绎出吴刚伐桂的神话，传说月中桂树高达五百丈，这株桂树不仅高大，而且有一种自愈的神奇功能。有一位西河人名叫吴刚，本为樵夫，醉心于仙道，但始终不肯专心学习，因此天帝震怒，把他居留在月宫，令他在月宫伐桂树，并说：“如果你砍倒桂树，就可获仙术。”但吴刚每砍一斧，斧起而树创伤马上就愈合，日复一日，吴刚伐桂的愿望仍旧没有实现，因此吴刚在月宫里常年砍伐，始终砍不倒这棵树，而他也不断砍伐。

Born into a poor farmers family in a mountainous area and educated in relatively primitive surroundings, I found myself lagging far behind in the first class in college, which happened to be Ms. Zhangs English class. I was really discouraged and frustrated, so I decided to drop out. Ms. Zhang was so keenly insightful that she had noticed my embarrassment in class. After class, she called me into the Teachers Room and discussed the situation with me, earnestly and kindly, citing the example of Robinson Crusoe to motivate me to go ahead in spite of all kinds of difficulties. "Be a man and rely on yourself," she nudged me. The next time we met, she brought me a simplified version of Robinson Crusoe and recommended that I finish reading it in a week and write a book report. Under her consistent and patient guidance, not only has my English been greatly improved, but my confidence and courage enhanced considerably.

"Rely on yourself and be a man," Ms. Zhangs inspiring words have been echoing in my mind. I will work harder and try my utmost to lay a solid foundation for my future career. Only by so doing can I repay Ms. Zhangs kindness and live up to her expectations of me, that is, to become a useful person and contribute to society.

今天是中国的传统节日中秋节。

本来爸爸晚上要带我去宝盖山赏月，可是担心山上会刮大风，怕不安全，就只能在家里的天台赏月了。

晚上十点多，我和爸爸到天台赏月、乘凉，我用眼睛一直盯着天空，盼望着月亮赶紧出来，过了一会儿，月亮果然慢慢地扒开云朵钻了出来。

这轮圆月又洁白又明亮，就像一个白玉盘高高地挂在空中，又像用面粉打成的白年糕被粘在了天上。

天上云很多，随着风，这些云慢慢地变幻着，有的像一团团的棉花絮，有的像一层层薄薄的白雾，有的像猫咪的绒毛，轻轻地飘在夜空中。

过了一会儿，月亮又躲进了云里，我想：这么晚了，月亮一定也很困了，把云当作被子睡觉去了……

我国的传统节日很多，比如：春节，清明节，端午节，中秋节。不过，我最喜欢的节日当属中秋节啦，因为这个节日是团聚的节日，是个丰收的节日!

首先，月饼是必不可少的主角儿，月饼分很多种，有蛋黄馅儿的、枣泥馅的、五仁馅的、莲蓉馅的……我最喜欢的是莲蓉馅的月饼。

中秋节，人们大都喜欢赏月，我给妈妈要了一个月饼，我们一边吃，一遍赏月。我也情不自禁的唱起了《中秋歌》：“中秋节啊月儿圆呀，也有为我大阅兵呀”。爸爸说：“今天的月亮好圆啊”，我接着回答说：“圆的像个大玉盘”，哥哥吃着月饼笑着说：“恩，今天的夜空好亮啊，我仿佛看到了嫦娥在跳舞，玉兔在玩耍”。

晚上，我们一家人带着甜蜜的笑容进入了梦乡!

这就是我最喜欢的传统节日，中秋节!
