春节前夕，大街小巷的店铺挂满了红灯笼，贴上了闪闪发光的对联，商店里的墙壁粉刷一新，玻璃也擦得晶莹透亮，一派辞旧迎新的气氛。这时候，庞大的人群带着迎春的喜悦涌入大商店置办年货。商店里的年货琳琅满目，多得让你眼花缭乱，无法选择。焕然一新的大街上，许许多多的小朋友高兴的拿着零花钱这里逛逛那里玩玩，见到好的东西就买下来。来来往往的汽车的鸣叫声，小贩的叫卖声，孩子们的嬉闹声为这热闹的大街谱上了一曲欢快的交响曲。

“爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。千门万户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符。”这是诗人王安石所写的《元日》里面提到的过春节的习俗。这也是我喜欢过春节的一大原因。

春节，不同的地区有不同的风俗。在我的家乡，过年要吃年糕，红烧鱼，炒米粉，八宝饭，煮糊羹。其含义是年年高升，年年有余，粮食丰收，稻米成串，八宝进财，年年富裕。

拜年也是很讲究的，初一儿子给父母拜年，幼辈依次给尊长拜年，尊长又率幼辈给邻居拜年。初二女婿给丈母娘拜年。初三女儿回娘家要给邻居分糖饼，体现邻居关系融洽。

除夕的晚上就更热闹了。餐桌上摆着许多美味佳肴。我们举杯祝福长辈们身体健康，万事如意!长辈们也希望我们身体健康，万事如意;长辈们希望我们好好学习，天天向上!饭桌上的大家边吃边聊着这一年来的变化。聊到高兴之处，大家都开怀大笑!

除夕的夜景别具一格，人们燃放五彩烟花，天空不停地出现一团团美丽的花朵。灯火与烟火把城市变成了不夜天。

春节，不仅仅是大家在一起吃喝玩乐，每年庞大的春运队伍昭示着一种民族精神，代表的是一种亲情，一种对美好生活的追求以及人与人之间的和谐与安宁。
