自2000年申奥成功后，人们无不欢欣鼓舞，近期已度过了2004雅典奥运会，但是奥运会的举办却使雅典一度亏空了好几百个亿。于是，我想，2008年的奥运会会不会也变成这样一个“大窟窿”呢？所以我查阅了资料，并制定了一套好的方案。

第23届奥运会就是这样的例子，他们做到了扭亏为盈。第23届在美国举行，但是政府却不给予经济帮助，当时，美国第一旅游公司的董事长尤伯罗斯自告奋勇，承包了这届奥运会。他一反历届奥运会主办国的常规，既不兴建富丽堂皇的运动场馆，也不兴建设施完备的运动村。但是他流节有方，开源更是有道。他出租了小型电视广播室，收费高达50万美元，广告费每秒5000美元，纪念章全套价格高达10万美元。尤伯罗斯又宣布：参加奥运会赞助单位限额30个，多一个也不要。于是，场外激战，使尤伯罗斯不费口舌，稳稳地多得了900万美元的赞助费。而以前的奥运会，赞助单位380多个，才筹集900万美元。

所以我也想了一套可以节省开支，还可以给外宾留下好的印象的好办法。首先是不用再雇佣员工了，因为市民都非常向往奥运，所以只要让他们自愿报名参加，还可以免费观看奥运会。等人数满了以后，再开始销售门票；还可以出售各种独家权，比如奥运专用饮料权、专用照相胶卷、独家播放权、专用服、专用汽车等等。然后聘用几所大学的宿舍，做运动员的休息场所。再用市内所有的体育馆，做比赛场地。还可以出售火炬的赛跑权，每小时多少元。这样，就可以把这笔钱适当地用在开幕式和闭幕式的雄伟之上，给各国运动员留下深刻的印象。然后再给外宾们造几个专用宾馆，让精通各国语言的导游带领他们参观市区，给外宾们留下好印象。这样子，既可以使奥运会圆满达成，又可以帮祖国减去一笔不必要的开支。相信如果这样，不仅可以使扭亏为盈，使这个“大窟窿”变成“聚宝盆”，还可以使以后德奥运举办权肯定又会降临在我们中国。

What can I do for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo?

We all know that the Expo 2010 will be held in Shanghai. Being citizens of Shanghai, we fell proud and responsible. It is said there will be 7,000 visitors from different countries coming to Shanghai. What can I do for the Expo 2010 at that time?

There is no doubt that I will be a volunteer to give services to the Expo 2010. I am good at English and I can communicate fluently with foreign guests. I must study English even harder so that I can introduce to them in English the rapid development of Shanghai and I can also help them. I can make them feel at home in Shanghai, such as showing them the way to their hotels or to the places of interest in Shanghai.
