今天是星期三,我妈妈、爸爸和我都在家.现在我妈妈正洗着衣服,我爸爸正在看报纸,我做着我的英语作业.今天下午我们打算去我爷爷奶奶的家里,并且我会和我的小妹妹一起玩,我认为我会度过快乐的一天.

在我国福建省，有一种奇特的建筑，它藏在永定省和南靖省的深山里，形状有圆形，方形，甚至三角形，八边形，月牙形，它就是著名的福建土楼。

土楼是中空的，以至于美国人在上世纪60年代的卫星图中，误把土楼当成了中国的秘密导弹发射基地。

土楼坚固无比。由于它们建在深山里，常常有土匪出没，因此它有一堵大头朝里，小头朝外建的鹅卵石墙，为了防止土匪挖进去，或被打穿，所以土墙深深扎根在泥土里甚至沼泽地上，墙体足足有1。4米厚，甚至可以抵抗常规武器的攻击。那挖进去不成，从门窗攻进去，总可以了吧?对不起，你错了。大门口必然是有多人把守，而且是一夫当关，万夫莫开。练窗户都建成高高的里大外小的形状，土楼里的人站得高望的远，土匪也不可能攻进去。那围城战术总可以了吧?围到你弹尽粮绝，不就不攻自破了吗?对不起，你又错了。土楼里有水井，少则一个，多则两个，而且土楼高十几米，第一层是厨房，第二层是仓库，而且人家还在土楼里养了鸡，鸭，猪。二三四层才住人，围个两三个月，土楼人家根本不在乎，这哪是名宿，明明是一个几乎完全的军事堡垒呀。

如此奇妙的建筑，都是几百年前的工匠们一砖一瓦的搭建出来的。不论经历了多少风雨，仍然在那一动不动地站着。伫立在闽粤深山里的中国民间建筑艺术的奇迹。

百年前劳动人民生活的智慧一直流传到现在。土楼里倡导着平等意识，一家一间十平方米的房子，轮流打扫卫生，共同教育后代，共同御敌，没有高低贵贱之分。这种精神一代一代流传下来，从而使福建的三万多座土楼大部分完好地保存到现在，依然子嗣绵延。

风和太阳

One day the wind said to the sun, “Look at that man walking along the road.

I can get his cloak off more quickly than you can.”

有一天风跟太阳说: “看看那个沿着路上走的人.我可以比你快让他把披风脱下来.

“We will see about that,” said the sun. “I will let you try first.”

“我们等着看吧,”太阳说, “我让你先试.

So the wind tried to make the man take off his cloak. He blew and blew, but

the man only pulled his cloak more closely around himself.

因此风尝试让那个人把披风脱下来.他用力地吹,可是那个人把披风拉得更紧.

“I give up,” said the wind at last. “I cannot get his cloak off.” Then the

sun tried. He shone as hard as he could. The man soon became hot and took off

his cloak.

“我放弃了,”风最后说, “我无法让他把披风脱下来.”然后由太阳试试看.他尽可能地晒他.不久,那个人很热就把披风脱下来了.
