Halloween always falls on 31 October. Its a holiday for children. On that day, children always wear fancy clothes and masks. And then, they go from house to house to say "Trick or Treat", so that people will treat them with candies. If they don’t receive any candies, theyll play a trick on people. But sometimes if the people are going out, when the children come, theyll put the candies in a carved pumpkin lanterns. Children will take the candies themselves. All of the children enjoy this holiday very much.

In the morning, we see a new friend. Although I don’t know his name, I meet him. And I think this boy looks like Edison. He is handsome. Later we make up some short plays and my group also show our play. Our story talks about a magician helping some fishes. And we got No.1.

In the afternoon, we play a game. It is so much fun!

Although the class is still boring, I think, in our life, we still can find some happiness!

here are a great many hobbies to choose from. Some people enjoy collecting coins or stamps, others choose to spend their time on sports or music. I have many hobbies, but playing basketball is my favorite one. At weekends, we always build a team to play basketball against another one in our neighbourhood. The competitions brought us so much fun. I think playing basketball is a good way to build up ones body and relax oneself. But I will always remember that its unwise to spend too much time playing

Halloween first came to America with early settlers from Celtic areas in Europe,such as Ireland and Scotland.But other American settlers with strict religious beliefs,including the Puritans from England,rejected Halloween.The arrival of many Irish immigrants during the 1800s helped spread Halloweens popularity.

But by the late 1800s,fewer people believed in ancient superstitions of ghosts and witches. Halloween became more a holiday for children to receive treats and dress in costume.

Everybody knows that there is serious problem of water pollution on the

earth. Yes, water pollution is increasing.

Look! The water in the river is getting dirtier and dirtier. Most of fish

in the water have died, and we can’t swim in the water.

My grandfather says, when he was very little, the water in the river was

very clean. He often swam in the river with his friends.

That was before, but now we can’t see such clean rivers. Let’s protect the

water from pollution, because we can’t live without water. The water is really

important to us all.
