这就要求我们英语老师要掌握一定的课堂和课外教学艺术，开展集趣味、知识、娱乐、教育于一体的英语活动，能为学生提供尽可能多的语言实践机会。教师要用直观形象的形体语言，丰富多彩的表情，幽默风趣的语言表达，使学生在轻松、愉快、和谐的氛围中复习旧知，学习新知，提高学习信心。

教学中教师要根据教学目标，学生的需要和客观条件，创造性地探索有效的教学方法，要学会活用教法突破难点。我们可以鼓励学生大胆地模仿，带表情说句子。如“I am hungry.”（可以作饥饿状）；“I am thirty.”（可以作口渴状）。在教单词或句子时，我们老师可以带领学生做动作，甚至做夸张的动作或用夸张的朗读语调，孩子们特别喜欢。“big”两手张开画个大圈，“small”用两手指做个特别小的小圈，“strong”出示手臂，并鼓起肌肉，“thin”做一个瘦的动作。学完单词后，老师做出动作，学生就会说出这个单词。

二、多用评价语，真诚激励。

《英语课程标准》的基本理念中对评价案例进行了重新整合和调整，补充了大量的可操作性比较强的评价方式和方法，提到“英语教学中提倡过程性评价方式，把对学生的评价贯穿到平常的学习过程之中。注重培养和激发学生学习的积极性和自信心。”

因为每个学生，都渴望得到老师的重视和肯定，渴望得到激励和赞许。让每个学生都能享受到鼓励、温暖的阳光，这样无论哪种知识水平、能力、层次的学生都能获得心理上的满足，从而使学生有一种积极向上的源动力。所以教师的评价语应丰富多彩，真诚激励。下面的句子应该多说：Good! Great! Wonderful! You are clever! Don’t worry!

三、面向全体学生、尊重学生的自主选择

《英语课程标准》的教学建议中提到“尊重每个学生，建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道。”平时学生如果主动帮我拿教具，我会向他致谢“Thank you”，若不小心撞到了学生，我会很抱歉地道声“Sorry”……虽然是点点滴滴的小事情小细节，但我希望从中带给学生“师生平等”的观念。

老师因为尊重学生而更关注他们的个性发展，学生因为受到老师的尊重会更乐意亲近老师，也就更加尊敬老师，这种心灵上的沟通和交流，一旦形成健康的双向互动，正面效应就会成倍增长，师生关系也会更加和谐地向前发展。

总之，新课程下的课堂教学，应是通过师生互动、学生之间的互动，共同发展的课堂。它既注重了知识的生成过程，又注重了学生的情感体验和能力的培养。因此，我们在教学中对教材的处理、教学过程的设计以及评价的方式都要以学生的发展为中心，以提高学生的全面发展为宗旨，这才是课改的最终目标。

I don’t remember the exact year I first read The Little Prince . Though the golden snake in the book plays a cameo role , I never forget the scene that he flashed kissed gently on the little prince’s ankle. It made me be afraid to reread this book.

Later, I listened a Michael Wong’s song named Fairy-tale Story, the prince in his song is different from the prince in The Little Prince, the prince in the song is the same as Andersen’s tales’ princes, they all have happy endings.

However, I think The Little Prince is a sad story. There is a saying: There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand peoples eyes. Now, let me talk about my reading feeling. This simple story flies over every corner of the world: a pilot (the narrator) who had an accident with his plane and crashed in the Desert of Sahara then he met the little prince from the planet B-612, and the narrator listened little prince’s travel experience of seven planets. On the seven planets, he met a variety of persons. They are the king, the conceited man, the businessman, the tippler, the lamplighter, the geographer and so on.

The Little Prince is a story belongs to adults who have childlike innocence.because children don’t understand the little prince’s deep sadness.This is not so much a fairy tale, as it is a tragedy. This story tells the grow-ups’ world is full of empty，lost and loneliness with kids’ perspective. Among the story, the alcoholic is impressive. He was surrounded by a pile of beer bottles when the little prince saw him, and prince asked him why he is drinking, but he answered he want to forget his shame of drinking. This short planet visit plunged little prince into deep puzzled. He think the grow-ups are certainly very, very odd. In kids eyes, beautiful things must look with heart. But the adults pay more attention on things’ appearance that is just a shell and they don’t believe the eyes are blind and the heart is true.

Through this story, it also made me understand what’s the love---loves more mineral, more dense, more bitter and more weighty than the earths profoundest matter.

When I first read The Little Prince, I can’t understand the mean of love and never to think why should the little prince leave alone since he love his rose so deeply. For years, I reread the story and think about it. The simple true was first love. The little prince didn’t know how to love and It was difficult to make him understand the rose’s heart, so it may lead to misunderstanding and hurts from time to time. He leaved his planet because he can not accept the rose and himself.

This is why the little prince don’t know he have to leave : at that time, he had no idea he was in it. The little prince don’t understand the meaning of tame until he met the fox later. Then he produced the endless yearning for the roses and realized his responsibility.

"Do you want to be domesticated?" For me, this is a profound question. In the book, the little prince met a fox and invited the fox to play with him, but he was refused. The fox told him that he was not tamed. “what does that mean--tame?” little prince asked. The fox answered:” it means to establish ties: to me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me , you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world.”

Gradually the little prince was beginning to understand, because he remembered his rose and he thought his rose had tamed him. So he chose to go back to his planet in the end. But to the fox, the little prince’s farewell will make her sad, but the hurts because of love, she should learn to accept it gradually. I believe there are full of hurts within serious and true love.

As long as the little prince flied to different planets and met a variety of persons can he understand himself and his rose. So I think traveling is a good way to experience life.

有人说，中国散文的天空星光灿烂，而《文化苦旅》是一条河系，其中每一颗星星都散发着一种魅力非凡的深不可测的光晕。察其书名，文化和旅游联系在一起，而在旅游的同时，却感受文化之苦。也许你会在此留下疑问。同样我带着疑问读完这本书，才明白这本书介绍了一处处令人流连忘返的风景名胜与历史古迹，但是在那一处处古迹的背后却隐藏着人们不为人知的一面，而作者运其妙笔，给我们的心灵写下了“震撼”两个大字。下面请跟随我的脚步走进文化苦旅。

首先，踏入莫高窟的石洞。我们静静的看着光影投射在石壁上的变化，如同它们静静的看着敦煌千年的变迁。集宗教文化知识于一身，以雕像和壁画闻名于世，向全世界人们展示千年艺术的莫高窟也曾有荒唐史。一位王道士自作聪明将窟中的的珍贵壁画粉刷、挖凿，代之以天师灵官塑像。婀娜的体态就这样变成碎片，柔美的浅笑就这样变成泥巴。更令人气愤的是，他视经卷入粪土，几个铜板，几棵白菜，甚至什么都不给，他就将不计其数的经卷送到外国人手中。也许是他

的无知葬送了中国几千年的文化，但是当时的官僚文人又怎样？忽略洞窟的价值，因为“东西很多，运费不低，官僚们犹豫了。”他们也曾运送一批文献进京，其情景：没装木箱，只用席子乱捆，沿途官员伸手进去，就取走一把，在哪歇息又得留下几捆，结果到京城时已零零落落，不成样子。当欧洲的学者文人们冒着被打被杀的危险，不远万里，变卖家财，只是为了得到莫高窟的一两件文物时，中国官员的客厅里，却茶香缕缕。也许就是这样，没有任何关卡，没有任何手续，外国人直接走到了那个洞窟跟前。他们一切精心的准备完全没有必要，只要和王道士沟通好，一笔轻松的买卖交易就换来巨大的文物财富。听到这里，也许你会心痛那些文物就这样不翼而飞，痛心王道士的无知，痛恨于那些外国人的趁火打劫……但是有一个事实我们不得不面对。王道士出身农民，生活所迫，当了道士，有幸当了莫高窟的家，可当时的莫高窟无人看管，年久失修，洞中大量积沙，一片残败。他凭着对宗教的虔诚，清沙修窟，他也曾向政府提议保护文物，但晚清政府一再推卸责任。此时又恰逢当朝政权风雨飘摇之际，“庚子事变”，八国联军打到北京，朝廷岌岌可危。自身的落后让我们已无心理睬被搁在西北荒凉之中的文物。人们没有保护文物的意识，更没有人去重视。于是，一个巨大的民族悲剧上演了。一个不拿朝廷一分钱俸禄，靠化缘维持生计的道士，做了他能做的一切。可悲的是，几年的努力，这些文物的管理处置权还在他手里，政府没有丝毫的举动。现在看来，这些文物怎么估价都不过分，而在当时并非如此，被视为“国宝”也是后来的事。文物的流失和损毁，一个民族文化遗产被如此严重的肢解，这一切不仅仅是王道士的愚昧，更是社会各阶层许多人的愚昧！是极贫极弱的国家之心痛，民族之悲哀。这才是作者的“苦”之所在，“苦”之由来，“苦”之际遇。

一路风雨颠簸，余先生没有做沉默者，他总是要竭尽全力的悲切的喊上几句。也许这声音不惊天动地，但是足以慑服读者的心。因为当他喊上几句时，足以荡起生命的音量，让我们产生共鸣。听罢，在这呐喊中，翻滚的是怎样的一腔热血。

在文中，作者一展渊博的文学和史学功底，使我由衷的体会到文化的车轮在我身边碾过，总有一种沉重的历史气压罩住我的全身，使我无端的感动，无端的震撼，让我深刻的感受到中国文化的内涵底蕴。而这些，正是我们炎黄子孙惊醒的地方，他对我们每个人的人格都是一次考验，让我们真正明白“苦”字的意义所在!

品味《文化苦旅》，即在品味百态人生。让我们对文化传承，对文化保护吧！

今天下午，何老师给我们看了一部电影，它的名字叫《背着爸爸去上学》，这部电影主要内容是讲，一个穷人家里有一个女孩和一个男孩，那个穷人家里只有一点点钱，只可以送一个人去上学，穷人就用了转勺子的方法，勺子指向谁，谁就去上学，转呀转，勺子转向了男孩，爸爸就决定让男孩去上学。

一天在小男孩上学过河的时候，天下着倾盆大雨，小男孩穿着雨衣走上河面，走着走着就碰见了他们同班的一个女同学，她打着伞和小男孩一起走到了河的中间，这里雨越下越大了，在小男孩不注意的时候，那个小男孩回过头来时小女孩早就被淹死了，小男孩害怕极了，他连忙跑回家躲起来了。当他爸爸说：“你们学到了第几课？”小男孩说：“我们学到了八课。”爸爸知道他们根本没学到八课，也知道他这几天没去上学，拿起棒子打了起来，这时小男孩的姐姐看到了就说：“别打了！别打拉！”第二天小男孩的爸爸怕他又不去上学就背着他过了这条河，送他去上学。

日子一天天过去，小男孩一天天的长大了，是中学的一名学生了，他的成绩非常的好，后来小男孩考上了大学，就是因为爸爸得了一场疾病，他的大学学校在很远很远的地方，但他爸爸又生病了，那么远的学校读书他实在放心不下，于是他决定背着爸爸去上学，这一路特别辛苦，这一部电影就没有了。

我最感动的是，那个小男孩背着他爸爸去上学的那一小节，这可以说是这个小男孩是一个懂事，也很孝顺的好孩子。我觉得我平时对爸爸妈妈的态度不太好，还在家里什么都惹您生气，我在这里对您说声：“对不起。”爸爸妈妈我会继续努力学习每一年都会用很好的成绩报答您的。

暑假闲来无事，再次重温老舍先生的杰作——《骆驼祥子》!

老舍笔下的祥子来自乡间，他身体强壮，有着美好的理想和抱负，曾试图通过自己的双手来改变自己的生活现状。可现实是残酷的，故事的结局是可悲的!不知怎么回事，读完这本书觉得压抑，总感觉活在那个时代的劳动人民太苦、太累!我自认为我不是一个很适合时代潮流的人，所以现实生活中有了很多得不知所以，很多的无可奈何!

换位思考，如果我是生活在二十年代末期的北京市，我会有怎样的生活状况?

假如我是刘四爷，在我拥有一生用之不尽的荣华富贵时，我可能会考虑把祥子招为养老女婿，这样我的后半生就不用因为无人养老送终而犯愁;

假如我是虎妞，我相信我也会跟她一样为了自己的所爱而选择暂时的离开，过后和父亲重归于好，毕竟妇女情深嘛!可是我又在想，如果我是虎妞，以我的情况，我会看上祥子吗?因为门当户对的传统观念也或多或少影响了我!呵呵!

假如我是小福子，我一定会反抗，也许选择离开这个城市，也许找个能过日子的人家嫁了，哪怕再穷，但做人起码是清白的。写到这儿，我内心油然而生出一种憎恶感，是拜小福子父亲所赐。小福子从一开始的堕落，到遇到祥子时对生活的向往、再到最后被逼死亡。作为父亲他要负很大一部分责任的。我真想不到还有世间还有这样的父亲……

读祥子，我的感情发生着不同的变化，从一开始那个在黑暗中追求光明的祥子，到有着美好生活理想却被现实的丑恶击得粉碎的祥子，一个年轻的小伙子，在自己的生活方式完全失败后开始了截然不同的生活……在替他感到惋惜的同时，脑海中又不断地想着这样一个问题：假如祥子学的滑头一些，刁钻一些，讨好刘四爷，虽然不爱虎妞，但仍娶她为妻，说不定还能霸占刘四爷的家业，故事的结局会来个一百八十度的大转弯呢!假如是我，我会这样吗?不知道，因为我没生活在那个时代，我不知道我的生存意志强弱与否，我更不能想象我处在祥子这个位置的生活状况会是什么样子的?所以读祥子，我对他有着复杂的情愫!

可我毕竟生活在二十一世纪的社会主义新中国，我不是祥子，所以我会时常庆幸自己的适时降临，并为追求自己更加美好的生活而发奋努力!

Ive read this twice. The first time I rushed through it just to find out who was the "victim." Yeah. Wasnt really surprised about that. Im sure a few people are thinking it was a serious mistake to off our lamented victim, but honestly, I wasnt really enthused at having to slog through this book.

I understand that this is covering the adolescent years of young Mr. Potter, but the whole teenage angst thing came out of nowhere. There shouldve been some hints as far back as "Chamber" but instead, we have four years of pent-up hormones come flooding out of the page. It is overwhelming at times, a feeling made worse when you realize that there wasnt a big plot; if anything, this was written partially for contract, partially to continue the story （I, personally, could have lived without the whole Hagrid/Grawp subplot, not to mention 50% of Dolores Umbridge, who herself is part pun, part metaphor, yet neither part really does anything but make one groan）。

But one thing to be said, there is growing tension and suspense in the book, which is written and intended--if we remember for a moment and think （perhaps somewhat na-iv-ely）--for young adults and not those of us with seasoned palates. This is why the book deserves a high rating; to me--and to many individuals over the age of, say, 16--this isnt a great novel. But it is an excellent novel for the young adult crowd and anyone who wants a mystery/fantasy/pseudo-thriller with characters who are reaching the genesis of their development. We may not like the person Harry becomes or the browbeating attitude of Umbridge or Rons jealousy rearing its head at odd turns, but it is a realistic portrayal of adolescent confusion and angst, of the tendency for some individuals in todays society to repreinformation and punish anyone who tries to resist the "system."

Yes, this is a heavy-handed statement, but this book is a metaphor as much as it is a fantasy. Remember, the Harry Potter series is desgined as an arc, so we naturally have to have the stage set for the final two books in the saga.

Hardcore Potter fans will enjoy this. Anyone expecting a great epic, however, will be disappointed because of their misconceptions.

Thoughts given by Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s Son

Written in the first chapter of the book Pride and Prejudice is an extraordinary sentence of which even a person who has had only a brief look upon the book will not fail to receive a deep impression-It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife. In terms of Sherlock Holmes, we’d better alter the sentence into “It is a fact universally accepted by readers throughout the world that an excellent book in possession of our famous detective Sherlock Holmes is undoubtedly a masterpiece of all times.” Perhaps this is one of the most obvious explanations for the unrivaled popularity of “Holmes series” in the field of detective stories. Overwhelmed by the recommendations provided by my friends, I decided to take a look on this Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s Son originally published by Oxford University Press.

As a whole, this book is about a case concerning the Duke’s missing son. Arthur, the Duke’s son, was found out in a certain morning to have disappeared, accompanied with which was also the disappearance of the German teacher. The school master Dr. Huxtable then turned to the famous detective of the time Sherlock Holmes for help. Realizing how tough and important the case is, Holmes immediately made up his mind to accept the case and followed Dr. Huxtable back to Mackleton by train. Having formed a rough idea about the wholle matter, Holmes probed into the case immediately and had a careful investigation of the entire area shortly after the arrival, during the process of which he discovered the body of the German teacher Heidegger. Finally, primarily due to his prominent ability as a detective, he managed to unravel the mystery and obtained the twelve thousand pounds promised by the Duke.

Having once started reading this fiction, I was completely immersed in the mysterious story presented by the book. As the saying goes, “Well begun, half done”. At the beginning of the story, just like many other detective stories, the author gives us a brief description of the condition by the words of a client. However, unlike other ones, this story first delineates the client’s strange behavior at length to indicate the severity of the incident in order to attract the readers to continue reading it. As is known to all, vivid depiction is essential to detective stories since it can help the readers understand each figure’s characteristics and visualize the scenes, thus making the story more authentic and attractive. Therefore, trying to present a “real world” to his readership, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the original “Holmes series”, has skillfully arranged the plots of the whole story from the perspective of Dr. Watson, a character not so specialized in discovering the truth hidden behind the enigmatic happenings as Holmes but so loyal to Sherlock Homes as a friend that he always accompanies Holmes wherever he goes. In this way, he elaborately depicted every scene and character in the book, Apart from the special start, the ending of the whole story, being dramatic but reasonable, is certainly an outstanding one. After all, except the author himself, who knows that the Duke’s seemingly ordinary secretary is in fact the Duke’s bastard? Darcy, a friend of Bingley’s , was attracted to Elizabeth, a lively and spirited girl. But Darcy greatly offends her by his supercilious behavior and this dislike is increased by Wickham, a dashing young militia officer of the unjust treatment he has met with at Darcys hands.

One day when Darcy and Bingley’s two sisters disgusted with the vulgarity of Mrs. Bennet and her two youngest daughters, effectively separated Bingley and Jane. There, the author emphasize the importance of ideal marriage, meanwhile, to be opposed to love & marriage based on money or property and to be opposed to people’s laugh love & marriage off.

Elizabeth as the leading character in this novel, was born in the family of squireen’s, and is loved by Darcy. Darcy propose marriage to her in spite of difference in the possession of property and social status, but is refused byElizabeth for his pride , the novel demonstrate that if the pride of Darcy’s existed ， there will be no love and also happy marriage between Elizabeth and he, it is really nice that Elizabeth witness the changes of Darcy’s through series of behavior in the following days.

I felt that I was deeply fascinated by it soon after I had read it.

I first read it in a summer. I did not finish it at a single sitting. However, the moment I finished it, near midnight in a sweltering August day, with my body poured with sweat, held my breath to turn the last page over, shut the book and heaved a sigh of relief, I just could not express how I felt. All were over: trouble was over; lives were over; hopes were over. I was shocked how such a small book could contain such a complicated story. Never were wars, diseases and starvation ever nakedly exposed to me like this. The turns in plots were surprising but natural.

It was a tragedy: Just as its name suggested, everything was gone with the wind, including families’ touch, friends’ support, sweethearts’ gaze and youth with vigour. The story reminds us of valuing all we were possessing. A life lasts for a short time and anything in it lasts shorter. We always lose something unconsciously and then feel regretful when we need them later.

Characters in the story were so vivid as if they had been going to jump out of the story, as if they had been existed in the real life at first.

“Land is the only thing in the world that amounts to anything, for ‘this the only thing in this world that lasts, and don’t you be forgetting it’ this the only thing worth working for, worth fighting for——worth dying for.” Said Gerald, an Irish man who loved his soil more than his own life, let us know that life can be born out of land.

What a tough woman, I thought. Though those she loved were all gone, she was still full of hope. When Rett didn’t love her anymore and wanted to leave her, she said “I mustn’t bawl… even if he doesn’t love me.” A woman’s dignity could be seen from what she have said and done. That’s why I appreciate her.

This novel gave me too much to think about and I can not fully express myself in English. It is true that reading an origin is more vivid than the translated ones. However, my English level limits me to understand the origin well without the translated. But I will work hard in order to understand better.

The novel is my treasure, forever, because I find myself in Scarlett and find the world I live in inside the story.

That’s really an excellent novel, with an ending from which you can see hope rising from despair.
