I think its a shame to promise an economical lighter when in fact you are not selling a lighter a1 all. Instead of saying it works quickly, you should admit that you are offering matches. And what about "only" ￡2: I usually pay 10 pennies for a box of matches, and they are often given away free.

I regard your advertisement as a serious deception and demand that you send me my money back immediately. Otherwise I will take active steps to make sure the Consumers Association hear about it.

秋风习习，送来了金色的十月，迎来了十月一日这个伟大的日子。因为今天是祖国妈妈__周年的生日，大街小巷，张灯结彩，好不热闹。

我们小朋友更是高兴，因为学校为了欢度国庆节放假一周。这一下我们可以跟着爸爸妈妈出去好好玩一玩，看一看啦!于是我今天就起了个大早，看完了隆重的“国庆盛典”就跟妈妈去马鞍池公园玩。

你瞧，节日的马鞍池公园可热闹、可美丽、可好玩了。进口处装扮得特别漂亮，尤其是有花草装点的一面大红旗特气派，上面写着一行“庆祝中华人民共和国成立60周年”黄色大字。公园里面人山人海、热闹非凡，娱乐项目丰富多彩，其中新增了特别棒的娱乐项目“冰雪乐园”。

入口处，每个人都要先穿上特别准备的棉大衣，套上鞋套，然后穿过“时光隧道”就可以进入“冰雪乐园之冰雕世界”。

这时，你可以看见许多神奇有趣的冰雕艺术品：如熊猫家园、海豚戏球、科技世界、冰屋、延安颂(宝塔)等等。最好玩的是冰雕小迷宫。这个冰雕小迷宫分别有两个出入口。我偷偷地从入口进去，妈妈就找不到我了，然后我从另一出口偷偷出现，吓妈妈一跳，更有意思的是玩“冰雪滑滑梯”，我坐在一个大轮胎(当滑板)上，妈妈从我身后轻轻一推，我就“嗖”得一下滑下去了——这样反复滑下爬上可有趣了!

最刺激的是玩“冰上滑车”。围着冰雕一圈，筑了一道长城状的冰雪滑道，坐上“小车”我们就可以畅游这美丽神奇的“冰雪乐园”一圈，仿佛真的登上了长城欣赏了那美丽的北京天安门!

across the water like an arrow. The audience cheered and shouted, cheering and

encouraging for the contestants. The contestants listened with confidence and

strove hard to paddle, and the water splashed everywhere. Each dragon boat

chased after each other. At last, the laggard No. 1 finally caught up with the

far ahead No. 2. The audience couldnt help cheering. There was a sea of joy

everywhere. Ah! This is the most unforgettable day for me.

不一会儿，我和妈妈就出发了，一路上我又激动，又好奇，因为这是我10年来第一次到理发店洗头，所以心里才会激动，很快到了理发店，理发店里的理发师，很热情，第一句话，就是对我说：“小美女坐吧”我听了，很害羞，很快就开始洗头了，理发师先用蓝色毛巾给我披上后，再从瓶里倒出洗发水，摸到我头顶，一只手在我头上转来转去，然后用小水壶里的水放一点点到我头上来，又开始转，那感觉真是太好了，又止痒，又舒服，真是两全其美，渐渐的，我头上的泡泡越来越多，像个大雪球，又过了一会儿，我的头发和在了一起雪球越来越大了，就像圣诞爷爷的大雪帽，好笑极了，很快理发师带我来了冲头发的地方，我先睡到沙发上，然后理发师开始冲，他先把水温调好，然后开始冲，他冲时总是要我把脖子向上，理发师洗的可舒服了，冲完后，理发师用毛巾把我的头发包起来，等我做好后，理发理由才把毛巾拿下来，又开始要吹头发了，很快就吹好了。最后理发师给我把头发梳起来，他讲起为我梳头发，梳好后我照镜子，自己的头发像一朵荷花一样，里面像花心，外面像花瓣，美丽极了，我觉得这位理发师太认真了。

Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose youre keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So heres a short description of whats happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didnt like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

那是一个闷热的下午，闷得让人心慌，让人焦虑。果不其然，天变得灰蒙蒙的，乌云吞噬了天空中的一切，只听见雷声轰鸣。天下起了绵绵细雨，小草欣欣然地享受着春雨给予它的爱。而我却打心底里埋怨着这缠绵的细雨，而此时，平凡而朴素的母亲早已站在窗外给我送伞来了，我却心安理得地坐在教室里上课。幸好在前排同学的提醒下，我看见了窗外的母亲。母亲也在同学们眼光的引导下，在教室后排的角落里发现了我。母亲好像用久别重逢的喜悦的眼神望着我，眼角的皱纹越发的明显。我在老师的允许下冲出教室，我从母亲那又宽又大且粗糙的手中接过伞，感觉伞沉甸甸的，还带着妈妈温暖的体温。我仿佛感觉一股暖流顿时涌进了我的心房，让我感觉到了无比的快乐与幸福。

那节课，同学们如蜜蜂一般发出嗡嗡的嘈杂声，让人感到忧郁和烦躁。大家正在试穿新做的校服，一个个兴奋不已。而我就像打嫣的茄子，低垂着头，无聊的摆弄着自己的衣角。订校服时正赶上母亲生病，家里没钱。“给，朱晓琴，你的。”班长一蹦一跳地跑到我面前，递给我一套校服。“老师说给你出钱，早把钱开了。”我抱着校服，眼里已是泪眼蒙蒙。

儿童节的前一天，计划就定出来了——去人民医院。因为奶奶在那里住院，所以奶奶我们要去看望奶奶，再去南湖公园玩。

儿童节到了，早上正好五点，我和妈妈就准备好了给奶奶拿的东西，就坐上了184路公交车。

六点左右，车上只有一些人，随着时间的增长，人也越来越多，挤得我快闷死了。

终于到了“吉林省长春市人民医院”，奶奶在门口接我们。我们准备出发到南湖公园，因为刚来这里，不知道怎么去，这时迎面过来一位衣装简朴，捡瓶子的老爷爷，我跑到老爷爷面前问路，老爷爷说：“我正好要去那里，我带你们去。”一会儿的功夫，就到了南湖公园的3号门。

进门就看见了“长春市人民英雄纪念碑”我和奶奶照了几张相。

我们老远就看见湖面有许多小船，所以我也想去划船，于是我们来到了售票处，售票员说：“200元钱，一小时。”妈妈叹了一口气，说：“太贵了!”说完，便拉着我的手要走，奶奶顺手掏出200元，递给了售票员。奶奶说：“无论花多少钱，只要孩子高兴就行。”

后来又过来了一位阿姨带着孩子也来划船，妈妈把阿姨叫到一边商量合租一条船，每人省了100元。我们玩完，出来时，票又涨了40元，成了240元。

玩完“大摆锤”，又来到“大摆锤”的售票处，买了一张。队伍很长，我排了好长时间，才玩上，我坐上座位，工作人员给我们系上安全带。

“叮……”随着一声铃响，先是原地转了几圈，向上飞了九十度高，又来个一百八十度大旋转，只听见旁边两个女生断断续续的安慰声，几声尖叫后，终于停了。几个人已经吓傻了，坐在座位上一动不动。

玩了这么长时间，我口渴难忍，想去买水，矿泉水3元，尖叫7元，小茗同学10元，这么贵!在超市，这么多钱能买三瓶!

儿童节啊!儿童节，只是大人赚钱的节日罢了，平时爸爸妈妈们都舍不得多花一分钱，为了让我们高高兴兴度过六一，花多少钱都不心疼，所以我们要好好学习，长大报答父母。

I am terribly sorry that I failed to arrive at BLCU last Friday. I hope that this did not mess you up completely, although I know that you had already made some special arrangements for my visit with you parents and friends. I am very sorry about all that. I am sure you will be sympathetic, however, when I tell you that my father is dangerously ill in hospital, and that I found it impossible to leave for the visit when he is in this state.

My father was working very hard on his project on protecting the environment. I know the project has come to a very important stage. He and his assistants did not take regular rest for three weeks. Last night, my father had a heart attack and was soon sent to the hospital. The doctor said my father was in a very serious situation, and, he might need an operation.

24 hours have passed. Nothing has changed. I have to stay at the hospital. I will let you know if there is any good news.

My summer holiday is coming soon， I start to make some plans about my vacation. I go to travel every year， this time， I want to travel to Tibet， it is the place I always want to go to. 2__年12月29日，学校开展了一年一度的元旦活动，这可使全校一千多名学生一齐欢跃了起来。活动主要功能是由全校全体师生参加，因此是个大型庆祝活动。

在元旦活动的前一天晚上，各个班级要布置好了本班教室，因此，每个班都八仙过海，各显神通。有的班在窗上喷上艳丽的彩带，有的班挂上了缤纷的拉花，还有班上画了活灵活现的各样黑板报，上面写着醒目的“欢庆元旦”四个大字，形状万千，麻雀变凤凰，一眨眼的工夫，整个教学楼变成了美丽的天堂。

春节可以说是我国最盛大的传统节日了。古称元日、元旦等，俗称过大年。实际上古代的春节是指24节气中的立春。过春节一般要祭灶、扫尘、吃年夜饭、拜年、守岁等。

我和妈妈来到花街。哇，花街上挤满人!还有五颜六色的各种花，摆在花街的两旁。在路上，我看到了粉红色的桃花，我和妈妈买了一株还没有完全开花的桃花，但能闻到淡淡的桃花香。妈妈说，等过几天，桃花盛开时就会非常好看。

接着，我看到了百花之王——牡丹。这朵花的形状像一把吧小扇子，我又看到了不同颜色玫瑰花，闻一闻，已经沉浸在这香气里了;最后，我看到我最喜欢的花，温情的郁金香，为什么我喜欢郁金香呢?因为郁金香代表友善和爱心。

花了一个上午，我们把大大小小各种花搬回了家。我们把最漂亮最大的花瓶，给桃花插上，在花瓶上贴上一个小小的福字。因为桃花还没有完全盛开，所以妈妈在它们的枝头上挂一些红包，我挂一些小小的红灯笼。我们一起把五颜六色的各种花，分别插在不同的花瓶中，有的放在阳台，有的放在客厅，哇，家里一下充满过年的气氛了。

春节一定要吃饺子，因为晚上11点至第2天凌晨1点为子时，交子即新年和旧年相交的时刻。饺子就意味着更岁交子，春节吃饺子被认为是大吉大利，另外饺子形状像元宝，包饺子意味着包住福运，象征富足。今年春节我帮妈妈也包了好多萝卜肉馅儿的饺子。先要准备好肉和萝卜，用来做饺子的馅。把肉切成小块，放进绞肉机里绞碎。然后把萝卜擦成丝，到锅里烫。烫好之后把萝卜的水分挤掉，然后剁碎。我把肉和萝卜一起混合，加料酒、盐、香油搅拌均匀之后馅儿就做好了。之后再把饺子皮分开，周围蘸些水，中间放上和好的馅儿，把它包起来，一个可爱的饺子就做好了。吃着自己包的水饺，心情格外好!

过春节不仅要吃饺子，还有剪窗花呢!我小的时候每年过年外婆都会给我剪好几个红彤彤的窗花。我觉得挺好玩，就跟着外婆一起学习。首先把一张红颜色的纸对折，对折成你需要的形状就可以拿剪刀开始剪了。先把多出来的那部分的用剪刀剪掉，然后剪几个自己喜欢的形状，然后把它慢慢打开，一个美丽的窗花就做好了。然后用胶水小心的把它粘在窗子上。今年我自己也剪了好几个窗花贴在窗户上，我觉得瞬间窗户变漂亮了，很开心!

过春节真有趣，我希望天天年都是春节。

先带你去看看襄阳的名胜古迹吧!我就说说古隆中，古隆中可是诸葛亮隐居过的地方，诸葛亮在古隆中隐居14年，而且三顾茅庐的典故就在这里发生，当年刘备、张飞、关羽三次请诸葛亮出山，最后一次，张飞、关羽都不想去了，在刘备的劝说下还是去了，这时诸葛亮正在午休，张飞对刘备说：“他不出来，我就把他抓出来。”刘备拦住了张飞，并在屋檐下恭候，这时诸葛亮终于被刘备的诚心感动了，出来后，答应了刘备的请求。古隆中不仅因诸葛亮有名，更因为那儿风景优美，泉水叮咚，是一处人间仙境。

The shortage of housing is one of the most serious problems facing many big

cities in China. Though the government has spent a large sum of money on

housing,the investment has not been very resultful and a housing shortage still

exists. Two generations sharing one room and newlymarried couples finding it

difficult to have a house of their own are still common cases. Housing shortage

is a problem that requires an immediate solution.

Peoples attitudes towards the solution to the housing problem are

different. Some suggest building more tall apartment buildings; others believe

that we should develop underground housing areas. I am in favour of the former

opinion. For one thing, it is cheaper to build upward than downward. For

another, living underground for a long time will do harm to peoples health.

Above all,people are unwilling to live underground with artificial lighting and

they prefer to live normally on the ground to enjoy the sunshine.

Although there may be some other ways to solve the housing shortage

problem, I believe to build more apartment buildings is one of the feasible

solutions to the housing problem.

“人越大，烦恼越多”，这是许多人认为是理所应当的事。当然，人生十有九是挫折、是困难。可是，当这个烦心事象茫茫大海的波涛一个接着一个的向我涌来的时候，我是怎么和它所抗衡呢?在它的面前，我是显的那么的弱小，无能，好象在它面前注定是失败者一样。

啊!烦恼!烦恼!来吧!来吧!即使你们是威力强大的炸弹，是光芒四射的闪电，还是汹涌的波涛……哈!你们不管有多么大的威力，都击不到我!烦恼!烦恼!来吧!来吧……如果你们真是炸弹，那我就是世界顶尖的拆弹专家;如果你们是闪电，那我就是质量一流的避雷针;如果你们是波涛，那我就是耸立在你们面前的高山，任你们翻打、冲击都动不了我丝毫!!

人都有一颗奋发向上的心，只是我们用不用他的问题。如果你很好的用它，认真努力的发挥它，那么我们身边的烦恼就会被我们镇压下去。烦恼将会永远被快乐所替代，压力也会成为我们奋发的动力!此刻，你闭上双眼，深深的吸上一口气，你会觉得空气象儿时那样清新，水那样清澈，风那样凉爽，阳光那样温暖;张开开双眼，看看窗外，啊!天堂，那是天堂!

Yesterday is my six-year-old birthday. It is important to me as I can go to

primary school after my birthday. It means that I grow up. I got up very early

at that day. My mother just smiled at me and said nothing. I felt a little down.

But I recovered with excited soon and then I went out to play. Everything in my

eyes is so beautiful. When I got home about five o’clock, my mother gave me a

surprise. She prepared a party for me and invited all my friends. She also gave

a lovely schoolbag to me as my birthday present. I’m so happy that day.
