DragonBoatFestival, often known as Tuen Ng Festival or Duan Wu Festival, is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. The exact origins of Duan Wu are unclear, but one traditional view holds that the festival memorializes the Chinese poet Qu Yuan of the Warring States Period. As for western festivals, we needn’t to be too excited about them. We can just send our best wishes to our best friends during those festivals.

Spring Festival ，known as the Chinese New Year， is the most important holiday in China.From late January to early February，Chinese people are busy preparing for the New Year.They clean their houses ，have their hair cut，and buy new clothes .Jiaozi or dumpling is most popular.To those who live far away from their home，this festival is also a framily reunion occasion.

And they often go back home to celebrate the festival with their family.The first day of the new year is the time when people visit their friends adn wish each other good luck in the new year.

Chinese people usually have two word or three word names: the family name, a middle name and the last name.中国人的名字通常由两个字或三个字组成：姓，中间名和最后名。

Family names always come tirst.For example, my full name is Bai Junwei.Bai is my family name. Junwei is my given name.But some Chinese people dont have the middle name. For example, a man called Zhou Jian. Zhou is his family name,and Jian is his given name.姓要放在第一位。例如：我的全名叫白君伟。白是我的姓，君伟是我的名。但有些中国人没有中间的名，例如：一个人叫周健，周是他的姓，健是他的名。

People often use Mr. , Mrs. , or Miss before their family names, but never before.their given names.So you can say "Mr. Zhou", but you could never say "Mr.Jian".人们经常在他姓的后面使用先生、夫人、小姐，但此种说法从不在名字后面使用。所以你能说“周先生”，而不能说“健先生”。

Chinese names are different from English names.In England, the last name is the family name. The first and the middle name is tile given name.For example,there is a man called Jim Henry Brown. Brown is his family name. Hello! Winter vacation for a long time, did not see you, so want to write a

letter to you, talk about my new years interesting events.

On the second day of the first month, my parents and I went to visit aunt

mans house for new years greetings. We met four cousins and cousins. Mother

On the fourth day of junior high school, we went to my uncles house to pay

New Years greetings. His family has a unicycle, usually used to carry grain or

farm tools. Seeing this special "rustic" car, I was very happy and invited

me. Yi Di and I were sitting on the wheelbarrow, and brother hang came to push

My Happy Times During Winter Vacation

I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during winter vacation. They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily. I can do many interesting things there. I am used to getting up early in the morning and breathing the fresh air in the countryside. After snow, I would like to skate and ski with my friends. When night comes, I am used to sitting by the fire and listening to grandma telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city.
