Although I’m still a freshman in this new semester, I’ve learned a lot from the past few months. I chose English as my major because I extremely love this subject so that I will continuously devote myself into it. Maybe I’ve got not bad gradeslast term and it indeed inspired me to get more progress in the future. But what I know is that it’s still a long way to achieve my ultimate goal and I need to make great efforts. My dream is to be a translator, especially a simultaneous interpreter, but I knew it’s not easy to realize due to my limited knowledge now. So I need to work step by step.

Now it comes to my recent goals. Firstly, to be honest, I’m not good at oral English and English listening, I have to take a great deal of practice. What I plan is listening to the MP3 in order to imitate the foreigners’ accent and speak more in English. At the same time, I will do a lot of News dictation and English listening and comprehension to improve my skills. Today is March 8th, the new term, the last but the most important term of junior high has been on for more than seven days. It means that there are only about three months left for us to study.

We suddenly feel that time passes so fast. We still remember the first day we come to this famous middle school, but now, two and a half years has passed. how i spent my summer vacation

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too. so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement

My grandmother is in her sixties. Most of the elderly are not taking children at this age, just around the pot. And my grandmother is different from other people. She has her own hobby.

On Saturday morning, after I got up, I wanted my grandmother to buy a book for me, but I didnt find grandma at home. It occurred to me that every day my grandmother would go to the square with some grandparents and grandma.
