On a Saturday afternoon our Chinese History teacher took us to visit a museum.

The exhibition hall was decorated in an antique mode. Charts and pictures were hung on the walls. Many ancient utensils, weapons and arms, robes, crowns, coins, or naments, books and farm tools as well as recently unearthed relics were exhibited. Each dynasty was presented in a separated room along with written and pictorial descriptions. Our teacber now served as the narrator, giving us a detailed lecture on the development of Chinese history, and elucidated his new viewpoint on how to divide Chinese history into different stages.

We were happy to have such a vivid lesson, one that made us not only review what we had learnt in class but also feel proud of our motherlands great and glorious historical culture of more than five thousand years.

提到西安，大家第一反应就是世界八大奇迹之一的秦始皇兵马俑。这次公司组织的党组织生活，让我们到兵马俑陵墓去参观，去感受中国上下5000年的历史，让我们感受中国人民自古以来的智慧气息。

秦兵马俑宽模宏大。已发掘的三个俑坑，总面积近20000平方米，在我们进入展厅之前，导游就告诉我们，秦始皇陵选择在这个地方仅仅只为了“头枕骊山，脚蹬渭水，左手抱玉，右手抱金，”这么一句话。站在高处鸟瞰，坑里的兵马俑一行行，一排排十分整齐!这真像秦始皇率领的千万大军前去迎战，杀得你死我活!

兵马俑不但宏大，而且兵马俑的神态端庄，栩栩如生。只见将军俑身材魁梧头戴鹤冠，身披铠甲，有的手握宝剑，有的我手持长矛，还有的手拿长刀。他们神态自若的样子一看就知道久经风沙，重任再肩。再看那武士俑，体格健壮，体型匀称，他们身穿战袍披挂铠甲，脚登战靴，手持各种锋利的的武器，整装待发。接着就是骑兵俑，他们身着短甲，下身着紧裤，足登长靴，右手持绳，有的左手持弓箭，有的左手持长矛，还有的左手拿着斩马刀，各各威风凛凛，身后站着几匹体格健壮肌肉丰满的宝马，看那神态，好像随时上马冲杀在一号坑，我们看到了许多专家在对秦俑进行修复。秦俑的修复的过程非常复杂，先要用泥捏塑出陶俑的头、手、足等部分，身体则用泥条一圈一圈盘筑而成;接着将身体各部分拼接好以后，在表面进行雕刻、拼贴、对细微处进行修改，才将这些半成品放入炉中，用1000摄氏度上下的温度烧制成俑。最后，还要在陶俑上添加丰富的颜色，使陶俑更加生动。据导游讲解，原来所有的陶俑都是有颜色的，因为陶俑年代久远，在刚开始挖掘陵墓时没有保护措施，大多数颜色都剥落了，所以陶俑都显出青灰色。

秦始皇兵马俑规模巨大，场面威武壮观，我们为之惊叹，它让我们看到了中国古代的雄伟，深深地感受到了中国博大的历史文化的气息，同时也看到了我们中华民族的艺术才能和高超技术，兵马俑作为中华民族的财富，我们应该为之骄傲，为之自豪!

May 1st Sunday Fine

5月1日 星期日 晴

Lily and I are very interested in science, so we decided to visit the Science Museum today. It is not too far from our homes.It is about two kilometers, so we thought it was better to go there by bike.

丽丽和我都喜欢科学，所以我们决定今天去科技馆参观。它离我们家并不远，大约有两公里的路程。我们觉得还是骑车比较方便。

At eight we set off. It was very nice and sunny. When we got to the gate, there were many people waiting there. We met some of my classmates and teachers. There we saw a lot of interesting things and equipment. We could touch them and even operate something. We thought we had learned a lot and were more interested in science.

今天天气非常好，早上八点我们就出发了。当我们到达科技馆的门口时，已经有许多人在那里等了。我们还碰上了一些同学和老师。在科技馆里我们看到了许多有趣的东西和装置。我们可以摸它们，甚至还可以动手操作呢。我们感到我们学到了许多知识，同时对科学的兴趣更浓厚了。

At half past eleven we had to leave for home. How happy we were today!

十一点半我们不得不离开科技馆回家了。今天我们可真愉快呀!

8月8日，我和爸爸妈妈来到陕西西安参观秦始皇兵马俑。

秦始皇兵马俑博物馆是建立在秦兵马俑坑原址上的遗址性专题博物馆。秦兵马俑是被当地村民打井时发现的，当时被挖出来的时候秦俑全身都是色彩鲜艳的彩绘，但可惜的是两小时后颜色全都退完了，之后国家动用了许多人力与资源去挖掘、拼装兵马俑的陶片，最后由1979年10月1日开放。馆内陈列着被誉为“世界第八大奇迹”秦兵马俑和“青铜之冠”秦陵铜车马。秦始皇陵史称“丽山园”是中国历代帝王陵中规模最大埋藏最丰富的一座陵墓。1987年秦兵马俑被联合国教科文组织列入“世界遗产名录”。

进了大门呈现在眼前的是巨大的1号俑坑，眼前豁然开朗，展厅非常宽大，顶棚由一根根长长的钢筋支撑成的没有用一根立柱撑在俑坑里，破坏俑坑原来的形象。我低头向俑坑望去，整个俑坑规模宏大，气势雄伟，仿佛一支规模庞大的秦俑军队展现在我的眼前，其中前三排是最整齐最高大的，听讲解员说他们是兵马俑的先锋，我仔细的观察他们，发现他们身材魁武高大，身高在175厘米------190cm之间，它们种类繁多：立射俑、官吏俑、步兵俑、骑兵俑、武士俑，马俑。。。。。。它们各司其职，认真工作。它们的神态每个人都不相同，据说是用真人当模特，打造出的模型，连头发丝的纹路都能看清楚，我觉得那些制造陶俑的工匠真是巧夺天工，令人惊讶啊!

到了2号坑，我看见了镇馆之宝跪射俑，为什么说他是镇馆之宝呢?因为考古人员发现了20几个跪射俑的碎片，只有两个能拼接完整，一个送到陕西省博物馆，所以这里只有唯一的一个跪射俑。只见他单膝跪着，手拿弓箭，目视前方，这个俑也揭示出了古代的一种作战方式。我又去看了著名的铜车马，铜车马和真车比例是1:2，跟真车的构造一摸一样，车厢是个小棚，棚顶是伞状结构，结构非常的精巧，前面有个铜人在驾车，驾驭着前面的几匹铜马，铜马也是栩栩如生，车身上还雕刻着精美的花纹，真是让人叹为观止啊!

秦始皇兵马俑博物馆还有许多值得一看的宝贝，我就不一一列举了，你如果有兴趣，就来参观吧!

A wonderful trip with some special soldier

In a beautiful morningme and my father hit the roads to begin a wonderful trip to visit the emperor qins terra cotta warriors.When i came into the musumethe first thing came into my eyes is nothing but mud.but when i walked closerthe impressive view just took my breath away.there are hundreds and thousands of mud warriors in the mud and they all look seriouselyso serious that i woudnt dare to even walk a little bit closer.the great landmark reminds me of how great my country isand i should be proud of it.from that moment oni decided to be a warrior to defend my country!what a wonderful trip~!和一些特别的士兵的一次精彩的旅行

Three days ago we decided to visit the Great Wall.

三天以前我们就决定去参观长城。

Today we met at the bus stop early in the morning. When we were on the bus, we saw a lot of new buildings and new shops.Beijing was taller than before, I thought.

It took us about two hours to get to the Great Wall. When the Great Wall appeared in front of us, we couldn , t help thinking how wonderful it is! I wondered how the people in the past built it without modem machines. It is said you can see it from the space.I was proud of it.

to the zoo

Today is Sunday. Its sunny today . I go to the zoo with my mother. I can see many animals . There are tigers ,lions ,pandas ,snakes and many more. Look ! The pandas are over there . Theyre from China . Look at the baby panda ! Its climbing trees. How cute it is ! I love pandas.

Next, we go to see the lions .The lions are so strong . Their mouths are too big. The tigers ae next to them. They are from Asia. They are yellow. At last,we go to see the monkeys . Some are climbing moutains , some are eating bananas . THey re so much fun !

I see many animals at the zoo and I m so happy today!

去动物园

今天是星期天。今天天气晴朗。我去和我妈妈去了动物园。我可以看到很多动物。有老虎、狮子、熊猫、蛇和许多更多。看!大熊猫们在那里。他们来自中国。看那个婴儿熊猫!这是爬树。多可爱啊!我喜欢熊猫。
