莫高窟位于甘肃敦煌市东南25公里的鸣沙山东麓崖壁上，上下五层，南北长约1600米。现存洞窟492个，壁画45000平方米，彩塑2400余身，飞天4000余身被誉为“东方艺术明珠”，也被称为“墙壁上的图书馆”。我觉得莫高窟是最美的。

莫高窟之美美在壁画。壁画的内容十分广泛，这里我主要介绍各阶层的各种行为活动。比如帝王出行，我们可以看见一位穿着黄色龙袍的皇帝，坐在轿子上，神情威严，旁边是一群百姓在跪拜，除了这些，莫高窟壁画还绘有交通、作战以及音乐舞蹈这些优美的图画，看着这些富有极高艺术造诣的壁画，我不禁被中国古代人民的智慧所折服。

莫高窟之美美在佛像。第328窟的释迦牟尼佛像慈眉善目，他坐在莲台上袈裟摆经过1600年的洗礼，仍是错落有致，轻盈而又飘荡，连褶皱纹理都清晰可见。站在他身边的大弟子伽叶，双眉紧锁，表情严肃，显得老成恃重;而小徒弟阿难则面部圆润，一只眼睛眯着，似乎已经走神。我不禁赞叹古人智慧超群，手艺精湛。这些塑像是用木头做构架，用草木灰和泥土打底，经几层粉刷，最后上颜料，就能把人物刻画得栩栩如生，保存至今。

莫高窟之美美在飞天。飞天，是佛教中称为香音之神的能奏乐，善飞舞，满身异音而美丽的菩萨。唐代的飞天更为丰富多彩，气韵生动，她既不像希腊插翅的天使，也不像古代印度腾云驾雾的天女，古代的艺术家们用绵长的飘带使她们漫天飞舞。

莫高窟之美美在文物。在藏经洞里发现了四、五万件手写本文献及各种各样的人民智慧的结晶——上千件绢画、版画、刺绣和大量的书法作品。有人做过推测：如果把所有艺术作品一件件阵列起来，便是一座超过二十五公里长的世界大画廊!

Education background

In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology

(NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During

the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among

the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I

got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission

test.

At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5%

in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is

Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to

narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and

Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It

is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled

a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This

was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and

experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research

interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research

(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid

system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

春节是一个喜庆又热闹的节日，因为这代表着新一年的开始，也代表我们小朋友又长大了一岁，要变得更加懂事了。

除夕夜，我和老妈、姥姥在厨房包饺子，当我包的正起劲的时候，姥姥突然从口袋拿出了几枚硬币，我很是奇怪，问：姥姥，你拿钱干什么？姥姥跟我说，原来要把它包到饺子里，谁吃到了，就代表他在新的一年里能大富大贵。

大年初一，我听到噼里啪啦的鞭炮声后，迅速起床，给长辈拜年，因为这样，我就获得可以用来买书本、文具的压岁钱了。我先拿一张纸板，跪上去，说句祝福语，然后面对长辈往地上磕个响头就可以了。吃早饭咯，可谁都没吃到包着硬币的饺子，老妈还说我们今年步步高呢！不过，我来不及多想就忙着去贴春联了。我先做面粉糊，在用高粱做成一个小扫把，把裹满面粉糊的高粱往春联背上一抹，在往墙上一贴就好了。

元宵节的晚上，我整理好衣服，走下楼，朝繁华的街道跑去……

舞狮结束了，围观的人们个个意犹未尽，觉得舞得好，有的人高呼：“再来一遍吧!”有的人还沉浸在刚刚的兴奋之中，而我却在想，舞狮的人到底是谁呢!我追上舞狮的一个人，他摘下狮头，呈现在我面前的竟然是一位满脸皱纹，白发苍苍的人——我的爷爷。

“爷爷，您不是有腿伤吗?怎么还……不痛吗?”我心疼地问。

“我觉得好久没舞过狮子了，想在最后舞一遍，这腿伤……也值了，中国文化，比这腿重要多了，我也老了，这中国文化，还得你们年轻一代继续传承下去啊!可惜……好像也没多少人学舞狮了，我就想带动一下年轻人……哎呦!”爷爷眉头紧皱，摸了摸自己的腿，“加油吧!”只见他转过身颤颤巍巍地走出我的视野……

中国的传统文化应该是得到重视的，但在愈来愈近的现代生活中去越多的缺乏了这种对于传统文化的一种重视，生活中点点滴滴也没了最初的传统。

传统文化最突出的一点是节日。我们都知道春节，元旦，端午节等等都是我们国家从以前一直传承至今的节日，并且也一直都是每年按照节日过这个传统节日。但在人们过节日的同时却忘记了自己过这个节日的原来的目的，意义何在。

春节，本应是每年的大年初一来过。更注重的是过年的那一份亲近那一份真挚的感情，但人们现在处于这么一个科技发达的时代反而忘记了这份注重的东西，人们只是更加的注重一种形式。买春联贴上吃了饺子看了春晚也就是过完了年过完了春节，但最初的那份感情却丢失了。我们现在要的到底是什么？

还有现在的文字，现在的简体字都是从以前的甲骨文源源流传到现在，转变到现在的让人不必在费力辨认的字体。但以前的传统的字体也是没有一处不散发着中国传统文化的魅力。

中华传统文化博大精深，是我们祖先留下的宝贵智慧结晶。其中许多思想精华、处世原则和哲理睿智至今仍是我们做人做事所遵循的标准。在当今社会，物欲横流，人们急功近利，道德和良心的缺失在年轻一代中尤为突出，所以学习中华传统文化，发扬传统美德，让仁爱、孝悌重回到我们心中，让忠诚、守信应用于工作和生活中，使我们的社会安定和谐，国家兴旺发达。

通过对《道德经》、《弟子规》等中华传统文化的学习，对修身、处事、接物等行为有了新的认识：一是对“孝”的认识。其实“孝”对我们这代人来说，孝敬父母是不难的，只限于物质上给父母买东西和给点钱，但格局不高，不能做到从精神上关心。缺少一份大爱，做不到“泛爱众”，也没有“老吾老以及人之老，幼吾幼以及人之幼”的胸怀。更重要的是我们的子女，他们对“孝”有着严重的缺失，导致了他们的骄纵和不负责任，没有了最起码的道德。所以，我们在做好孝敬父母的同时，还必须让子女知道这也是他们必须具有的品质，让他们承担自己该做的一切，把“孝”这种美德传承下去，这样才会从小爱上升到大爱，成为一个对家庭、对社会有用的人。二是从“谨信”做起。《弟子规》作为日常生活的行为守则，无论从“列典籍、有定处”，还是“房屋清、墙壁净”等等，都告诫我们做每件事都要仅仅有条。我以前就是工作无计划，想到哪就做到哪，毫无头绪，且效率不高。通过学了《弟子规》，我就开始按月、按季制定工作规划，工作时不再手忙脚乱了。三是讲诚信。老子说：信言不美，美言不信，所以在日常工作学习中，不只听顺耳的，而是做到诚实守信。势服人，心不然;理服人，方无言。老子也说：民之不畏，则大畏将至矣。所以作为一名基层领导在日常工作中，对职工要宽厚仁爱，不能一味的进行处罚和批评，而要有一定的赞赏和激励，这样才能凝聚人心，把工作做得更好。

中国的历史悠久、中国的文化辉煌、中国地大物博。中国是四大文明古国之一，我为此感到自豪，中国拥有上下五千年的悠久文化，令人望而生畏。

中国文化有着深刻的意义，各种传统佳节贯穿于一年四季中，如“爆竹辞旧岁，红桃喜迎春”的春节；艾符雄黄酒，端午映高阳“的赛龙舟、吃粽子；”朗朗明月盘，遥遥寄亲人“的企盼团圆、合家欢乐……这些传统节日是华夏儿女一代代传承下来的，有着永不褪去的色彩。

如今，圣诞节在一些人眼中成了小型“春节“；浪漫的情人节代替了“七夕”；愚人节的笑脸展现在眼前；重阳节的登山似乎已经远去……这些外国的节日难道比中国的传统节日更能吸引眼球吗？难道传统节日就没有意思的了吗？

吸取一些国外的东西，并没有什么坏处，但这些人连那些圣诞节、万圣节、愚人节……这些节日的由来，象征都不知道。这难道不是“邯郸学步”的现代版吗？我不希望中国的传统的佳节在所谓的效仿中流逝……

中国的传统节日源远流长，像传火炬一样，一代一代永无止境的从华夏儿女的手中传承下去。

南京明孝陵在南京市东郊紫金山(钟山)南麓独龙阜玩珠峰下，明朝开国皇帝朱元璋和皇后马氏合葬的地方是我国现存建筑规模最大的古代帝王陵墓之一，也是古都南京的第一处世界遗产。建成30余年，至今已有600多年历史。

我们从大金门进，大金门是明孝陵外郭城的正门，也是近入陵区的第一道大门。我们第一个要游览的地方是碑亭。碑亭由砖石砌筑，平面呈正方形，但现在亭子的顶部已荡然无存，只有四面墙壁，每面墙壁各有一个宽5米的拱形门洞，所以俗称“四方城”。里面有明成祖朱棣为其父朱元璋所立的“大明孝陵神功圣德碑”，这块石碑高8.78米，碑文是由朱棣亲自撰写的，计2746字，详述明太祖的功德。碑座、碑额雕琢瑰丽。

神道由此向西经外金水桥(今红桥)，绕过梅花山再折向北，长约1800米。中段为石像路，长约250米，俗称翁仲路。这段路上相向排列着12对石兽，分别是石兽狮，獬豸，骆驼，麒麟，马和象6种，每种两对，姿态是一对伏，一对立。后面是一对高大的华表，上雕云龙，气势不凡。折向北面的神道上分别列着4对文臣武将，武将身穿盔甲，威风凛凛;文臣头戴朝冠，神情肃穆，他们都是陵墓忠实的守护者。

明孝陵神道石刻代表了中国明初石雕艺术的最高水平。方城是孝陵宝顶前面的一座巨大建筑，外部用大条石建成，东西长75.26米,南北宽30.94米、前高16.25米、后高8.13米，明楼在方城之上，原为重檐黄瓦大屋顶建筑，屋顶早已毁，仅存四壁砖墙，东西长39.45米，南北宽18.47米，南面开3个拱门，其余三面各开1个拱门。方城明楼以北为直经400米左右的崇丘，即是宝顶，也称宝城，为朱元璋和马皇后的寝宫所在地。宝顶近似圆形，原名独龙阜玩珠峰，周围砌有砖墙。

明孝陵代表着明初皇家建筑的艺术成就，是中国陵墓建筑和陵墓文化的缩影。

想要达到一定的程度，首先要向这个程度看齐。就写作来说，如果你想将自己的作文水平提高到一个质的飞跃，首先你要懂得去吸取别人文章中的精华。这个吸取精华的过程就是阅读。只有多阅读，才能够培养起良好的语感，才会知道如何去构思，如何去质疑别人的观点，表达清楚自己的意思。正所谓"读书破万卷，下笔如有神"。无论何时，大家都勿急躁，因为"跑"得好的前提是"走"，

表达能力需要考生平时多一点练习，给自己制定一个写作计划。一周至少练习一篇文章。在加强写作练习之后，你的文章才能够 "成章"。因此，实际动手的能力至关重要。平时训练的重点应该锁定在文章是否切题，行文是否表意明确、通顺，有无语法错误等。另外，一定要给每一次行文限定一个可行的时间。并且，按照这个时间严格要求自己完成。

如果你能够找到范文，然后在练习之后进行比较，效果会更加明显。假使没有范文作为标样，建议你可以找英语水平较好的同学看一看。也许评看你作文的这个考生英语水平不是很高，但个人看别人文章的缺点很容易看出来。如果条件允许，找老师请教一下最好。

Recently we had a class meeting on the topic of My Chinese Dream everyone talked enthusiastically about his understanding of the Chinese Dream. We all believe that this dream will come true in the future. I also talked about my own dream. I have always wanted to be a doctor.Not only can doctors save people’s lives but also they are doing a respectable job.To realize my dream, I must try to study hard from now on. I must learn as much as I can so that I can become a doctor. Only in this way can I accomplish my goal.

American eating is funny. They eat almost everything with a fork, and it appears that holding a knife in ones right hand longer than a few seconds is considered to be against good table manners.

The system is that if it is absolutely necessary to use a knife, people take the fork in their left hand, and cut off a piece of meat or whatever it is in the normal manner. Then they put the knife down, transfer the fork to their right hand, and only then do they transport the food to their mouth. This is clearly ludicrous(滑稽可笑), but it is considered good manners.

There are several results of this system. First, if it is not absolutely necessary to use a knife, Americans dont use one, because obviously this greatly complicates(使复杂化) things, and you will therefore see them trying to cut things like potatoes, fish and even bacon(熏猪肉) with a fork. Second, towards the end of a course, since only one implement(器具) is being used, food has to bo chased around the plate with the fork - and for the last mouthful the thumb has to be used to keep the food in place, although one is not supposed to do this.

Third, tables are generally laid with one knife and two forks, the outside fork being for the salad. There is no need for foreign visitors to follow the American system and try to eat the salad with only a fork, but if you do use your knife, remerber to save it for the meat course. Even desserts(甜食) (except ice cream) are eaten with a fork if at all possible, and the spoon you see by your dessert is meant to be for coffee (but if you use it for your dessert no one will say anything).
