My school is at Haimen Town. It is very big and beautiful. There are forty-three classes in it. When you come to our school, you can see the modern teaching building. Our teachers work and do practice in it. Behind the building, there are two classroom buildings and a school library. In the library there are thousands and thousands of books. After class you can borrow the books you want and also you can read them in the reading room at any time. Beside our classroom, there is a big playground. Chinas traditional education methods are ideally suited to a political culture that requires citizens to submit blindly to authority. By encouraging students to question their teachers and regard them as equals (even official literature now talks of fostering a “democratic” atmosphere in classrooms), China could be ushering in a new kind of relationship between the rulers and the ruled.

How to protect the environment has become one of thebiggest problems in the

world .

It’s our duty to protect our environment . No matterwhere we live , we

should do something to keep our neighborhood clean and tidy. We can collect

waste paper or other waste things for recycling. We shouldplant more trees and

we should prevent those factories from pouring waste waterinto rivers, lakes and

fields. Weshouldn’t leave rubbish everywhere and spit in public places . We

mustn’t pickthe flowers or step on the grass in public. If everyone tries his

best toprotect the environment , the world will become much more beautiful and

ourlife will be better and better .

Lunar New Years day morning, I and grandfather father they go to new years.

Many people on the road, some family dozens of people to the new year. Adults and children are wearing new clothes, a cheerful and said to each other "Happy New year".

To the elders at home, just the door loudly say: "Happy New year! To give you a pay New Years call!" The elders affectionately gave me the gift money and sugar. I took it and said: "thank you!"

Im really glad! And adults go to the new year!

We all know, summer holiday is a long time. Well how should we speng it? I have a good plan to spend my summer holiday.First, Im going to visit my grandparents.

First, Im going to visit my grandpa--ents for three weeks.

Then,Im doing my homework, sounds boring. "When you finish my home work, we are going to aquarium"my mother says. When I finish my homework,we are going to aquarium, and going to take many photos. I am so happy.Two weeks later Im going to school.

My mother is 35 years old. But I still can see how beautiful she is when she is young. She is not too tall but very thin. Her eyes are black. Her hair is blackand there is several white hair.

Mother’s day

In the U.S., mother’s day is a holiday celebrated on the second sunday in May. It is a day when children honor their mothers with cards, gifts, and flowers. It was first observed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1907. Long before that, there were days honoring mothers even in ancient Greece. In those days, however, it was Rhea, the mother of the gods who was given honor.

Later, in the 1600s, in England there was an annual observance called "Mothering Sunday". It was celebrated during June, on the fourth sunday. On Mothering Sunday, the servants, who generally lived with their employers, were encouraged to return home and honor their mothers. It was traditional for them to bring a special cake along to celebrate the occasion.

In the U.S., in 1907, Ana Jarvis, from Philadelphia, began a campaign to establish a national mothers day. Jarvis persuaded her mothers church in Grafton, West Virginia to celebrate mothers day on the second anniversary of her mothers death, which was the second sunday in May. The next year mothers day was again celebrated in Philadelphia. Jarvis and others began a letter-writing campaign to ministers, businessmen, and politicians in their quest to establish a national mothers day. They were successful. In 1914, the American president proclaimed mothers day a national observance that was to be held each year on the second sunday of May.
