80年前，为了驱逐黑暗、争取光明，为了祖国的独立和富强，一群意气风发的青年用热血和生命谱写了一曲最壮丽的青春之歌，绘就了一幅最宏伟的青春图画。

如今，“五四”运动已作为光辉的一页载入了中华民族的史册。然而，“五四”绝不仅仅是一个历史事件，它是一种精神，表现出青年人对我们民族炽热的爱，对国家前途和命运的关注，表现着青年人的责任和使命。

今天，我们这一代青年人有幸生活在改革开放的大好时代，有幸站立在世纪和千年交汇点上。我们是幸运者。面对新世纪，我们责任重大。我们回顾发扬“五四”精神，认真思索着，自己应该拥有一个怎样的青春，怎样的人生。记得，最初开始认识“五四”是从小学的历史课开始的。那时，老师讲到“五四”运动，向我们讲述帝国主义列强对中国的种种欺凌，讲述青年们为祖国不惜献身的种种壮举。当时，我们虽然还不能完全理解其中的深刻道理，但有如一丝曙光照亮蒙昧的荒原，我们幼小的心田中已播下了爱国的种子。渐渐地，我们长大了，我们成为风华正茂的青年，我们更加深刻地懂得了五四的传统和精神。想想那些曾经与我们差不多大的五四青年吧!他们稚嫩的肩上早已承当起一份救亡图存的重任，而今天建设祖国的重任将别无选择地落在我们这一代人的肩上，我们是否应该为祖国的更加繁荣昌盛而奉献我们的一切?

是啊，我们不小了，我们不能永远停在父母宽大的羽翼下避风躲雨。今年的五月四日，我们将参加成人宣誓仪式。那意味着我们将要同父辈们一起，共同撑起一片蓝天。

长辈们常说我们这一代人是蜜罐里泡大的孩子，少些紧迫感，也少些责任感。的确，与他们相比，我们的生活更舒适，更安逸。但这决不意味着我们可以放松身上的努力，减轻肩上的责任。

人们每每谈到我们苏北老区总是感慨万分。苏北大地，是一片美丽而神奇的土地，我们盐阜地区也曾在中国革命史上留下过光辉的一页。戎马倥偬的年代，这一方热土，曾经为中国的革命付出了多么昂贵的代价。新中国成立后，这里的人们用自己的双手，凭着苏北人的勤劳和智慧，使自己的家乡发生了翻天覆地的变化。说起这一切，我们心中总是充满自豪。但是，我们也应该看到，这里与祖国的其他发达地区相比还有着很大的差距，这里个别地方的贫困还有待于进一步治理。这里的整体经济还有待进一步的腾飞。我们，作为苏北青年，首先应该感觉到的是什么?责任，感到的应该是责任。“生我是这片土地，养我是这片土地。”我们爱着脚下的这片热土。我们就要承担起建设家乡，繁荣家乡的责任。

在我的家乡，有一位与我的父亲同龄人。他就是全国闻名的身残志坚的农村科技铁人姜德明。他立足农田，孜孜不倦地研究着小麦、棉花如何在家乡的土地上能够有更高的总产量。当他的研究取得了初步成果时，癌症又一次地向他袭来。他没有倒下，拄着拐杖依然风里雨里地留在田头，走访在农户家中。不懈的努力，他培育出的优良品种得到了推广，种植技术得到了普及，粮食总产量大幅度提高，农民的双手欢迎这样的农技员。把他誉为“农技铁人”。他是我们老区青年的好榜样。去年，他在我市青年成人宣誓仪式上谆谆告诫我们，为老区经济的腾飞，要努力学习，掌握科学文化知识，立足本职，捧着一颗心来，不带半根草去!我们记住了这位铁人的话，我们意识到了自己的责任，我们盐阜老区的青年们都会努力的。

是的，责任放在我们每个青年的肩上，放眼新世纪，振兴中华，建设家乡，我们是不会退缩的。

李大钊曾在《青春》一文中写道：“冲决历史桎梏，涤荡历史之积秽，新造民族之生命，挽回民族之危机。”今天的我们虽然无需面对国土的沦丧，无需承受战火硝烟，但我们面前的任务同样艰巨。我们应该努力成为鲁迅所说的“创造人类历史上从未有过的第三代。”“位卑未敢忘忧国”，以天下为己任，青春热血献祖国，顽强地努力，无私地奉献，为祖国的繁荣昌盛贡献自己的全部智慧和力量。我们今天是桃李芬芳，明天是社会的栋梁，要掀起中华腾飞的巨浪。

Parents are the people who care about us the most. But for a lot children,

they think it is necessary for parents to give them everything. As they grow up,

they start to realize their responsibility and feel grateful to their parents. I

was very naughty before. One day, I hanged out to play with my friends very

late, but I havent told my parents, because I thought they would not care. But

when I went home, I found my parents and uncle were sitting together, and they

looked very upset. When my parents saw me, they were angry to ask me why I went

home so late. I felt unhappy and shouted at them. Then my uncle told me that my

parents worried about me so much, and they had searched me for the whole street.

At this moment, I felt so touched, and felt their love.

As it is known to us all, there are 55 minority groups in China, each with its traditional customs, costumes and culture. Now let’s take a look at the Tibetan Minority.

The Tibetan Minority group live in Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan and Yunnan Province. And the highest ridge in the world─beautiful and mysterious Tibet is their major habitat .

As the fertilized prairie stretches around the habitants as far as the eyes can see, most people live on animal husbandry, raising sheep, goats, cattle and growing a special kind of plant called Qingke. On account of the unique climate, people often wear warm and comfortable boots in winter, and they are always dressed in delicate robes which are made of the fur of sheep. Often they take off one sleeve of the clothes and tie it around their waists in order to work easily and use it as warm quilts at night.

Both men and women there like wearing silver ornaments, which look very mysterious and full of magical power. And they are good at singing and dancing, and the men there can have braids too. When they meet an important guest, they will present him or her a Hada, a piece of long white silk cloth to show their respect. And they will also treat the guest to a special kind of drink called Suyou Tea, which some people find hard to enjoy.

Besides, the habitants have developed both their own written and spoken languages, and the long poems they wrote play an important role in Chinese literature. And there are many well-protected culture relics as well, taking the grand Budala Palace as an example. It is a historical museum as well as an art treasury, where people can share their spirit belief in Buddhism and get artistic entertainment of the carved paintings and the beautifully-written chirographies.

The Tibetan ethnic group is also famous for its strange custom in funeral. Thinking that the soul belongs to the sky after a person dies, they usually put the body on a platform outdoors, spray on it and wait the condors to come to eat the body. In this way, they believe the soul goes up to the sky.

The Tibetan Minority is brimming over with deep emotions. The people there are very zealous and hospitable and they live freely and happily on the spacious grassland. Their history and culture contribute to the diversity of China, so we certainly should protect them and get them popularized and let them receive great respect they deserve.

Our Chinese nation since ancient times there is the traditional virtue of the tree "love tree"; The afforestation can reduce the air pollution, beautify the environment, purify air, safeguard peoples physical and mental health; Afforestation can reduce the noise, the protection of the ecological balance, provide the ideal for people study, work, entertainment and life; Forests have loyal friends of human beings.

But you know? Amount of deforestation in China is the worlds first; Long-term deforestation destroyed trees, and the resulting soil erosion, flood disaster, every year to the state and the peoples cause huge economic losses.

Again from our side to have a look, popular people use wood furniture, trees into peoples family. In the hotel, disposable chopsticks, one-time toothpicks, we see; In spring everything begins to grow this is, to some of our classmates in the trample on flowers and plants, the school in the lawn, not found with deep footprints; In some places have also go into bare trail. Protect forest resources, take good care of our environment, in fact is so near to us.

The classmates! We are masters of the 21st century, afforestation, environmental protection, greening the motherland let us start from oneself, starts from now. I firmly believe that as long as everyone sacrificed a little love, our campus will be more beautiful, our city will be more beautiful! Our country also will be more bright tomorrow!

我们中华民族自古就有“爱树育树”的传统美德;植树造林能减少空气的污染，美化环境，净化空气，保障人们的身心健康;植树造林还能减少噪音，保护生态平衡，为人们提供理想的学习，工作，娱乐和生活的场所;森林真可谓是人类的忠实朋友。

可是大家知道吗?我国森林的砍伐量却是世界第一;长期的毁树毁林，而由此带来的水土流失，洪涝灾害，每年都给国家和人民造成巨大的经济损失。

再从我们身边看一看，人们流行使用木家具，树木走进了人们的家庭。在饭店，一次性筷子，一次性牙签，屡见不止;春天本是万物生长之时，可我们有些同学在践踏花草，学校的草坪中，不是发现有深深的脚印;有的地方还走成了光秃的小道。保护森林资源，爱护我们生存环境，其实离我们就这么近。

同学们!我们是21世纪的主人，植树造林，保护环境，绿化祖国让我们从自己做起，从现在做起;我坚信，只要人人都献出一点爱，我们的校园将更加美丽，我们的城市也将更加美丽!我们祖国的明天也必将更加明媚灿烂!

I always dream about returning to the past. As many people say childhood is

the happiest and easiest time in one’s life.

Children show you their true emotions. They know what is compassion and

what is tolerance better than adults. In their world all real thoughts are

presented. They may easily have different opinions with others but they never

understand what is animosity. They enjoy making friends but they never think

about making social communication net. Every child talks from the bottom of his

heart without evil plans hidden and never intrigues against each other. Only in

children’s way can adults make our life simple more real and more enjoyable.

I wish everyone’s heart would keep as innocent and lovely as they ever did

in their childhood. Then the walls between our hearts can be broken down and the

world would be a better place to live in.
