Nowadays, there are many kinds of activities for people entertaining in their leisure time, especially in holiday, such as climbing a mountain, having a picnic, holding a party and so on. However, these recreational activities have its advantages but also bring some harmful influences to people’s lives.

First, to some extent, these recreational activities enrich people’s lives. 5月20日收到 Pole depot 社区的来函，邀请我参加5月31日在好市围图书馆的举行的“世界无烟日”活动。我应邀参加，活动之后感慨良多，留点文字记录。

感慨主要有四：

1、 Pole depot 社区“世界无烟日”的活动策划严谨，有活动计划，有时间表，有工作分工，注重细节，善始善终，堪称完美;

2、社区对“世界无烟日”活动很重视，对其中的中文创作比赛还专门从香港中文大学邀请评委，Herstville市的华人议员刘娜新亲自督阵，参与创作评审并出席5月31日的“世界无烟日”活动和致辞、颁奖;

3、悉尼的华人中藏龙卧虎，很多老人中文造诣颇深，参赛作品水平高;

4、社区义工活跃，在整个“世界无烟日”的活动中处处有义工的身影。

班长：同学们，从今天起我们快乐的暑假生活就开始了，我们生活在幸福、温暖的家庭里，受到父母和家人的关心、爱护，而安全是我们永恒的话题，“安全来自长期警惕 事故源于瞬间麻痹”，平日里我们学习了许多安全知识，希望同学们在生活和游玩时严格的遵守，避免发生危险，酿成事故。为保证大家安全、健康、快乐地度过暑假，今天我们的班会主题为：珍爱生命，健康快乐度暑假。

主持人男: 当一片绿叶悄然钻出地面，当呱呱落地的婴儿发出第一声啼哭，这就是生命!生命是万绿丛中的绚丽花朵，生命是滔滔江河中的逆水之舟。生命诚可贵，人的生命只有一次。

主持人女: 生命也是脆弱的，失去了不会再有。

主持人男: 生命的一次性和独立性告诉我们生命是至高无上的!我们首先必须要珍惜自己的生命!另一方面，应该珍惜别人的生命!

(二)珍爱生命---防交通事故

1. 新闻发布会：让我们警钟长鸣，使悲剧不要再在我们身边发生!!!

主持人男：据有关部门不完全统计，近几年，全国中小学生每年非正常死亡人数达1.6万之多，平均每天就要有40多名中小学生死于各类安全事故。在这些学生安全事故中61%发生在校外，主要是以溺水和交通事故为主。两类事故发生量占全年事故总量的50.8%，造成的学生死亡人数超过了全年事故死亡人数总数的60%。

主持人女：数字是枯燥的，但是在枯燥的数字背后，是生命的陨落。

主持人男：安全，人命关天的安全，在平时被人忽视并不鲜见。

主持人女：大的灾难不是天灾人祸，而是人的无知。

主持人男：同学们，血的教训，血的不幸，难道这些还不值得我们去注意安全吗?

观看交通事故图片集，让学生切记血的教训，明确珍爱生命、遵守交通规则的重要性。

主持人(女)：多么可怕的画面!同学们，你们有什么感受?

主持人(男)：我们每一个人都要学习《道路交通安全法》，做到学法、懂法、守法，安全的出行。做到：出行时选择走路或者乘车，不要骑自行车;走路时必须在人行道内行走，没有人行道的靠路边行走;横过马路时必须走人行横道，横过没有人行横道等过街设施的马路时，要先看左，后看右，注意来往车辆快步通过，还要注意：不要斜穿或猛跑，要垂直通过。注意避让来往车辆。不要在车辆临近时，突然横穿马路。

(1)分组讨论(行走、骑自行车、坐公共汽车、出租车及其他车辆等)

(2)每组一名代表交流，其他组倾听时记录并补充
